Not to divert the empath thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?64221-Empaths), but how many of you notice "differences" ?

Walking along a path with clover edges, your eye is drawn to the one with 4 leaves, because it's not the same as the rest.

Bricks in a wall...one hasn't got the glazing of the rest, a chip out of another.

When you look at others, you see the whole, and excuse the differences.

Look at yourself, and all you see is difference ?

Many ornaments are made from gold--different shapes sizes and functions but however melted down they are seen to be the same.
There can be an awareness that all is of the same essence but difference is noted and appreciated.
Everything is perfect moment by moment.
The bent and battered trash can is the perfect bent and battered trash can-- yet different only in looks from the shiny new one which is perfect in it self also.
The Self is singular--the self many.

I agree that everything is perfect, but I also agree that I am want to recognize extancy first.

If we dont know what is different, we are not in truth. The tendency to gloss over differences has its own kickback of denial and a build up of toxic residue in it.
Its too easy or tempting to rush to the concept of oneness as a safe haven, but the truth is needed on each step of the way for clear light to shine.

We need to dwell in truth about relative as well as ultimate.
