News anchor loses it over politics on live TV. The title says it all.

It is an encouraging rant. It debuted 2 years ago though.
Disclose TV did a disservice in not pointing that out.

Or rather, it was an encouraging rant when it debuted 2 years ago.
It may be older than that Shezbeth, I just thought some of it might hit home with what's going on now with our government.

The interesting part of the video is;
You can't even get three so called "intelligent" folks to sit down to agree about what the problem is :usa2: and how to fix it. :argue:
Now, how does one go about trying to get half a billion people to come any closer to understanding what the problem is and how to fix it :confused:
:ohwell: The funny part is, often the more we try and fix something, the more it appears to be broken :confused:

they can rant all they want , as long as americans pay more attention to dancing with the stars than the actions and agenda of the government nothing will change ... We all know the ptb want a one world revival of the Roman empire , one government, one army, one religion , the catch is US stopping it ... fire all the congress, the senate , and the white house, and hold new elections coupled with two year term limits on EVERYONE ... Move to a flat tax of 10 percent across the board , no exemptions for anyone , eliminate foreign aid completely , close overseas bases and bring ALL TROOPS home , establish bases on the border states and let the military protect America and it's citizens from Drugs coming in, terrorist , etc ... then bring back manufacturing which will bring jobs , buy only products made here in the U.S. and keep all money here , no off shore bank accounts , force large corporations to actually pay 10 percent of their profits , return power to the states and let the people of each state decide the how they want their state to function, give schools back to the parents and the teachers , make public office jobs minimum wage no perks , then you have patriots in office instead of ego driven greedy lawyers from harvard and yale ... those are some of my solutions I offer ... get rid of the electorial colledge , and make the voting for president by popular vote , each news station give equal time to each canidate , with 100 dollar max donations for campaigns , and donors must be a matter of public record , to see who supports who ... toss away the drones , the NSA , the CIA , DHS , all of them , we did just fine without them before , and close the pentagon , we don't need it , we did fine without it before ...make the local sheriff the most powerful law person in the city , term limits on him to ... once you serve your two terms you cannot hold another political office ever, you must be a citizen again , no retirement for politicians , they must live like the rest of us , live under the laws they create ... close all the embassys as well , we have no right to another countries soil ... glad to see others finnally getting where I've been for the last three years , very concerned about the government of the United States , right now its the Divided States of america ...

That's just the way government works. Take a tiny problem and make it worse and then just put in fix over fix until the small problem that only effected 5% of the population effects everyone. For every law, we need two more laws. For every regulation, we need two more regulations. It's not meant to work, its just meant to control.

This is Dylan Ratigan, and he had his own show on MSNBC for a couple years. He comes from Wall Street and quit TV 18 months ago to start a hydroponic farming co-op to benefit veterans.

It is nice to see someone in the media speaking the truth, but really all we need is common sense. People get so wrapped up in their political parties that common sense becomes a rare commodity. The media and politicians want us to believe that things should be done differently in the government, but that simply is not true.
Whether it is the government, a corporation, an organization, family or individual you would never allow the following;
a.) maxing out your credit cards
b.) borrowing every dollar any bank would lend you
c.) attempt to spend your way back to prosperity
d.) allowing every member of your company, family etc to lie about most issues
e.) engage in long term arguments and wars
f.) protect certain family members or employees at the expense of others(unions, big business)
g.) designate members of your group too large or important to fail (5 banks designated as too big to fail)
h.) allow family members or employees to engage in illegal behavior (i.e. wall street selling derivatives)
i.) allow people to illegally influence or pay your employees for their support (i.e. lobbyist)
j.) allow criminal behavior to be an "ethics violation" instead of a felony
k.) exempt certainly family members from laws while others have to adhere to the letter of the law.
The list just goes on and on but somehow we have been told, and many believe that government is different, or that it is complicated, therefore "you really can't understand it."
It is not complicated, it is not different and it certainly is not hard to understand. If you would not engage in this behavior as an individual than the government should not engage in this behavior. We need to return to common sense and a belief in ourselves as to what is really right and wrong!

What an excellent post, simple and basic common sense, well done.
