View Full Version : We are such funny people

We are such funny people. We create concepts like God and religion, write books and call them holy and fight with each other to establish their supremacy.
We create weapons and then do R&D on them to create still better and more powerful weapons to use them on each other. (Where else would we use them?)
We are such funny people. We create homes, cars, gadgets and various other objects and struggle throughout our lives to acquire them.
We will cheat, murder, improvise every fraudulent means in our greed for acquisition.
We think we are superior and will do anything to prove and establish this concept.
We are so funny that now we have started carrying a portable gadget to keep ourselves imprisoned in this mirage – we will play games on this gadget, watch movies and send tweets and emails and then pat ourselves on our backs, saying that we are connected with the world.
Which world is this - the world in which you were born or a world which you have created in these gadgets?
We will prefer to waste away our precious lives running after a mirage and will not, even for once, pause and wonder as to where we are, and why we are and who we are!
Once in a while, someone simply steps away and finds peace and happiness. The rest of the world first wonders at this person, and then gets back to the job of chasing the mirage.
We are such funny people.
---
I sometimes wonder how people in the other worlds would be living. Would they, like us, be killing each other for concepts, money, food and raping their opposite sex just for the fun of it? Would they be doing jobs to acquire objects and buying foods which actually Nature gives freely? Or would they be established in togetherness and living with each other as equal partners of this creation?

I think this world was created like a big Australia, the other 68 planets, shipped the criminals and uncontrollables here...
the ETs are our prison guards keeping us from spreading insanity throughout the galaxy...

I think that like with Australia, there turned out to be quite a few pretty worthy incarcerees. And some yet to come around.
If you ever wondered about that Revelations thing about the 'resurrection of the dead'; that was me.
(Speaking generally : )
If you're real, you should know it. You probably know it because some time or another you questioned it. Unreal doesn't ask that.
If it's unreal, then it looks just like all the other overwhelming debris out there. I don't know one meaningless thing from another anymore. They all frighten me until they don't. Meaningless agendas. Meaningless people.
I'd presume the OP wasn't just an invitation to feel wretched. I don't feel that way. If it didn't look the way it looks and seem real and unsolvable,
I wouldn't bother to change it.
When I can feel that it's different without seeing any difference at all, I've changed.
It does. It keeps happening.
I need this planet exactly as it is at the moment. And every thrust of the plunger is bringing up more.
So the cool thing is that even guys that need to transcend keep having to come back and see the same old rubbish.
Like everyone else, they get out of prison because they bloody well worked for it, or more probably
because it was their time. (To notice the door was open?)
All that discipline was for, was to be able to meet a single crucial moment. Freedom? Execution?
It needs to feel different. That happens inward, not upward.
The world never seems to exhibit that same fragrant frequency as those moments of eternal. We can't ever really quite bring it back with us.
Just an addiction for it.
I think the disciplines were for us guys who were too undisciplined. We've always been sloppy and just needed the help.
I know you're just laughing at the stupidity of everything. You always draw me in.
Maybe that's it. A hospital planet for some, a lawless prison as the movie that's on in the common lounge.

That's a very plausible explanation Rocky. Another interpretation, but a rather ignorant one, is that we are part of an incredible evolutionary experiment. Maybe we are watched by all the universe to see whether this time we'll make it. Something like in the movie The Truman Story. Overcoming fear and doing the unthinkable.

Or perhaps our captors have brainwashed us into believing so. The prisoner that thanks his prison guards is one that has willingly given up his freedom.
I can see where you're coming from. Human history is a sad story indeed. However, there's also greatness to us. There's a seed of higher conscience within us all. Don't be so quick to justify alien repression and dominance over humanity. Don't be so quick to give the keys away.
We are not a violent species that deserves to be locked up by more technologically advanced civilizations. We are a race of beings that are learning and growing, just like any other species in the universe. We have made mistakes. We have done great deeds. Such is the nature of life.
Let's not assume that technological advancement goes hand in hand with advanced ethics. The alien beings flying our skies at night, abducting people against their wills, are not necessarily any more advanced than we are in regards to ethical behavior. Indeed, we may have some things to teach them.
According to the Allies of Humanity (http://www.alliesofhumanity.org/): "There are great spiritual powers in the universe, but do not confuse them with those who are intervening in your world, or you will make a critical and perhaps fatal error in judgment."

We can be funny when we choose to. We can have gadgets when we want to. No one is forcing people to have it.
If humans have a choice about what to do with their lives then there is nothing wrong with gadgets but rather someone's decision.
And even if for observer this decision was/is wrong it's only his opinion and judgement. For decision taker the latest game station can be a lot of fun.
Humans are evolving and in this time and day they have places were food or anything else is there for them.
The choice is yours and always was.

All I know is if I found a planet like this with large lizards on it and I knew I could make life there that would benefit my world then I'd do it.
We are slaves with an illusion in a illusion. At least for now we have choices. Me personally.. I bounce of frequencies of my audience and let them do my job because the audience always makes the show.
It's a great life we live. I love it.

Ha!Ha! Yes, you did the right thing by keeping the lightness of the OP. Yes, we can discuss serious subjects with a lightness. Thanks.

Sometimes prisons contain geniuses, creative people, persistent question askers.
Maybe they are here under false pretenses on the part of the prison guards.
It is likely they made errors that got them sent here.
Geniuses, artists, and persistent inquirers are such pesky critters when you are trying to control every little thing.
Personally though I am glad there are here , welcome, please continue to share!

The liberal use of the term 'we' is confusing. It seems that a generalization is being made about 'the human race', and if reports are to be believed (and there doesn't seem reason to contest) those generalizations are accurate.
On the subject of we however, not one of those descriptions are consistent with the body I am inhabiting. Should I then assume myself to be a/the anomaly?
Maybe they are here under false pretenses on the part of the prison guards.
This reminds me of the example of Chateau d'If. Notwithstanding the majority in a prison are there in response to previous actions, not all such actions are a violation of 'law' or the response in pursuit of 'justice'.
