the paradox is everyone thinks they are working for god - so I question the agenda of articles like this - not because there is not some element of truth in the premise but because it seems that it is being overly articulated for a reason. It would seem to me that both sides of the ongoing dispute is a failure for anyone to be accountable to reason. and I myself wonder what part matt 10:34 plays into the above Sura passage.
A story like this reminds me of the cold war crap - the constant pressure now to push us into believing in the monster under the bed. While I can be aware that others in the other camp might have been bought hook line and sinker - it does not mean I have to be part of that paradigm.
But the paradox of that statement is - it don't matter if want to be part of it or not - because I am - whether I like it or not - I do not have to seek it - if its already on its way to find me.
