I had a few questions for those that are into astrology.
1.) Is it dangerous to share my birth chart publicly? I know this may sound silly but I was into the occult and magic for a long time and I know there are certain things that should never be shared. Like someones true name and I don't mean the birth name but the true name. As this can be used against someone greatly. Knowing the true name of an entity or spirit gives you control over it.
2.) I did my birth chart and I compared it to others online. Most seem to have lines going every which way. it looks really disjointed or chaotic. Mine seems to make overlapping lines that make almost perfect pyramids/triangles. All in the same area, with all the pyramids/triangles pretty much overlapping. There seems to be an order to it that is lacking in most that I have seen. Is this common?
3.) how much of a difference does a few minutes make in a birth time? I know I was born between 1:30pm and 1:45pm. When I was making the chart last night my voice said "1:38" when I was filling it out so I went with that. How much of a difference can a few minutes make?
This is going to sound crazy but maybe about a year ago I was told in a shamanic ritual that "they" have been looking for me every since I was born and had no idea where I am. That if they knew they would have tried to do something about it early on before I reached a level where they cant. When I asked my mom about my exact birth time last night she said "you didn't have a birth certificate that would indicate this, there was a mistake when you were born and when we went and later got the certificate information was added to create it. It would not be exact due to the mistakes and the fact that there wasn't one made at your birth". I found this very interesting as it correlates with what I was told that the universe hid me from those that were looking.
I find the lines that are on my birth chart to be very fascinating how they come together in a orderly, geometric fashion and I was hoping someone who is trusted and respect here can help me figure these things out or tell me what they mean. Something inside me says there is risk with sharing the chart publicly so this is why I asked the first question.
Thanks for your time and help in advance.

dpwishy, first off which astrology system are you referring to: western / Greek based, Vedic, Chinese, ?
I wouldn't worry too much about the time of birth. The time span of 15 minutes in not worth mentioning, what is important is which sign is more on the rising and which is going down that matters. I am born on May 22 at around 7.30, and I also did not know my exact birth time, but whichever system I researched what was important is that scorpio was on the rise, saggit. going down. That is your north node according to western system. But I wouldn't share my birth chart online publicly, because you never know who physically is looking from your friends or the like. For those who are keeping an eye on you, wherever they could be coming from, don't need to see you birth chart, I think.
I would suggest to do some research about vedic astrology. And then combine with what western also says.

Thanks for the replies...
As to what system, I would assume it is the western. I just did the free birth chart thing they have on astro.com
What started me on this is the fact I was researching the "saturn return". I read a site that pointed out how to know the exact return for you and it instructed you to go to that site to make a birth chart first. The whole saturn return thing interests me greatly as I have been going through it in my life. I first learned of it from the song "the grudge" by Tool which is focused around this concept. I am just grateful that my first saturn return is one in which things are sorting out and working for me. That I don't have to deal with these same issues again in the second return and that I have a jump start on my being in this incarnation. Things really seem to be coming together in all aspects of my life. My private life is amazing, my public life/business is growing out of control and I feel like my spiritual path has solidified and become clear. I feel like I am about to make my mark in the world in a huge way and I am eager with arms wide open....
Wear the grudge like a crown of negativity.
Calculate what we will or will not tolerate.
Desperate to control all and everything.
Unable to forgive your scarlet lettermen.
Clutch it like a cornerstone. Otherwise it all comes down.
Justify denials and grip 'em to the lonesome end.
Clutch it like a cornerstone. Otherwise it all comes down.
Terrified of being wrong. Ultimatum prison cell.
Saturn ascends, choose one or ten. Hang on or be humbled again.
Clutch it like a cornerstone. Otherwise it all comes down.
Justify denials and grip 'em to the lonesome end.
Saturn ascends, comes round again.
Saturn ascends, the one, the ten. Ignorant to the damage done.
Wear the grudge like a crown of negativity.
Calculate what we will or will not tolerate.
Desperate to control all and everything.
Unable to forgive your scarlet lettermen.
Wear the grudge like a crown. Desperate to control.
Unable to forgive. And we're sinking deeper.
Defining, confining, controlling, and we're sinking deeper.
Saturn comes back around to show you everything
Let's you choose what you will not see and then
Drags you down like a stone or lifts you up again
Spits you out like a child, light and innocent.
Saturn comes back around. Lifts you up like a child or
Drags you down like a stone
To consume you till you choose to let this go.
Give away the stone.
Let the oceans take and transmutate this cold and fated anchor.
Give away the stone.
Let the waters kiss and transmutate these leaden grudges into gold.
Let go.

dpwishy,
Briefly a lot of trines might indicate an "easy life" but might lack in challenges that can lead to development. On the other hand you might have choosen a life of "rest" having done hard work in previous lifetimes. Generally pple go to an astrologer when they need guidance because life is not running smoothly.
Regarding the Ascendant it might move into another sign altogether depending on how close it is to the surrounding signs so 15 minutes can give a big difference. Also the houses and the placement of the planets might change.
You seem to be blessed in this life!

I wouldn't say dangerous, but certainly if somebody knows your birth details then they can tell a LOT about you. I would never share my birth chart publicly.
You also asked about the time of birth. The only thing that could probably change in 15 minutes is your ascendant. And yes, this can make a big difference. From my Vedic chart, I realised that I was actually born about a minute or two earlier than my birth certificate. Everything was in the house before I had previously thought it was in. And yes, that explained a LOT!
Lots of trines is generally thought of as a "good thing" but as others have said too much harmony can make it difficult to grow. You'd have to consult a good astrologer for a face-to-face consultation though.
I would also recommend Vedic and Mayan astrology. The systems are complimentary but of course from very different perspectives.

Blessed for sure. Easy life, I wouldn't say that. I mean I'm not in a third world country poor but I fought tooth and nail to get where I am in every aspect of my life. Especially the spiritual. I love all my experiences good or bad as they were like a piece of iron being forged by a black smith. The unreconizable red hot iron was beaten over and over until it forged something usable and beautiful.

Saturn is restrictive, disciplinarian, and forces choices on us.
But if we do the "right" thing then Saturn rewards. Saturn is like winter....
By depriving nature of the warmth of the sun, energies become active inside of trees,
which then prepare them for the burst of life and new growth in springtime.
Each quarter of Saturn's orbit marks a maturing point....every seven years, give or take a little...
Also called 'the seven year itch'....at seven children get their new set of teeth, and experience less playtime as their learning efforts intensify then...reading and writing and math are what school is about..no more Playdo ...
Then at around 14 the hormones kick in, adolescence begins...at 21 the first encounters with serious work, setting up household and family, and at 28 or 29, which is the first Saturn return, life has become serious now, and a committed application of what service one wants to offer to family and community is now required from us.
The second Saturn return comes at around 58 years, and feels equally burdensome,
unless someone has accepted their responsibilities and dutifully performs their service, to the greater good.

Hi dpwishy,
Had my chart done years ago by a girlfriend who was studying astrology. To answer one of your questions re timing; if I remember correctly - the time difference is approx 2-3 min intervals (but I could be wrong). ie, it may affect one of your houses. If your intuition is going with that time, stay with it.
So far, her astrology knowledge of my chart has panned out to be very accurate. :)

The overlapping lines as you call them are aspects between planets. A trine which is 120 degrees give or take a few degrees less or more is an "easy" aspect and when 3 are joined in a triangle around your chart is said to be a grand trine which is a closed circuit of easiness. These grand trines exclude to some extent other planets influences in these regions of the chart. A "good" thing sometimes. If one of the planets in a grand trine are aspected for example in a square aspect to another planet this closed circuit of energy has a releasing effect. As for exact time of birth: the ascendant roughly moves 1 degree every 4 minutes, so if your birth time was 16 minutes out you would have 4 degrees difference. If it was near the middle it would not be so different but if the wrong time made the ascendant within a few degrees of the beginning or end of a sign then that would be a big difference. As for making public your birth time credentials that is up to you.

If one doesn't know the exact time of birth one won't know if there are stressful aspects to the Ascendant which beside the Sun and Moon are the most important in a chart. The Ascendant moves very fast but the Moon only 1deg in 2 hours. In many countries pple don't know the exact time but there is information enough to get valuable information out of a chart. If the astrologers also are mediumistic they won't need as much data.

Sorry to have to correct...the moon sign changes every 2 1/2 days, not every 4 minutes.
It is 28 days of the moon's cycle divides by the 12 signs.

Going to throw a curve ball in here, Michael...You have gotten wonderful astrology input from those in the know here, and it sounds like higher music is playing for You now...a very good thing.
I simply wish to add this snippet of "command of the eagle" from Toltec lore...it simply means when You are giving Your full awareness and efforts to the synchronistic happenings and doing the work diligently and living purely this unfolds in a flowing stream of goodness and creation and I feel it fully applies to You and Your Doings and You can help People in Your Life find Their Own Way tremendously and fortuitously : )
.......
Free Will and The Command of the Eagle
When the warrior becomes fully aligned to the Dreamer they have the Command of the Eagle at their hand. Toltecs call the Creator of the Nagual (all that is), the Eagle. When a warrior has the Command of the Eagle at their hand they have the power of the Intent of all creation.
When we are fully aligned to the Dreamer, the Dreamer’s will and our will are one. We have free will but it is the will of the Dreamer. For those new to Toltec lore, the Dreamer is the entity that dreams our particular lifetime. We are the dreamed, dreamed by the Dreamer, our life is the dream.
We begin aligning to the Dreamer when we embark on the Mastery of Intent. Most never make it this far on their path. We must start with the Mastery of Awareness and move to the Mastery of Transformation. This is where most get hung up. Progressing through the Masteries of Awareness and Transformation requires growth. Growth requires that we clean, clear, heal and strengthen the human tonal (in the human we can look at the tonal as the human personality, which consists of the mental, emotional and physical bodies). Growth has nothing to do with how much we “know.”
The cleaning, clearing and healing is not fun. It is work. It takes diligence and perseverance. It requires that we look at our inner and outer worlds as they are, without sugar coating, avoidance or denial. We must begin by looking at ourselves as we are, not how we wish to be.
In order for us to reclaim our free will and find freedom from the patterns and suffering in our lives we must clean, clear, and heal the tonal. The reason for this is simple, but maybe not obvious.
When we are very young and encounter pain due to the dysfunction in our families and society, the psyche’s response is to try to suppress the pain. When we are young we are not able to process the pains and injustices we encounter growing up. We are totally dependent on our parents and caregivers for our very survival. Our needs must be fulfilled by our caregivers. When our needs are not met, or when we encounter the brunt of our parents’ dysfunction, we are wounded. We engage all of our will to suppress the pains of growing up.
Most of us spend our entire lives suppressing the pains of life. We use all of our will to do this. Every time we suppress something we hide it from our awareness. Each time we suppress something from our awareness we add to our subconscious. By the time we are adults we have a huge dark wall in our inner world that blocks us from the Essential Self. This dark wall is our subconscious.
In order to reconnect with the Essential Self we must take down the wall through cleaning, clearing and healing the tonal. We must bring the subconscious back into the light of awareness.
What does this have to do with free will? We are controlled subconsciously by the wounds, pains and patterns in our subconscious. We have used and continue to use all of our will to hide, suppress and repress these pains and patterns. We have no free will because all of our will is being used to hold our subconscious in place.
When we suppress we make a decision to use our will to hide something from our awareness. When we repress, the suppressing is no longer conscious. It has become an unconscious habit. We are not even aware that we are suppressing. The process of increasing the size of our subconscious continues on and on without us even being aware of it.
In the Mastery of Awareness we begin by becoming aware of that which we repress and suppress. We must start here otherwise we continue to use our will to build our subconscious. As long as we have a subconscious we cannot know who we are because we are hiding aspects from our self. When we use our will to build our subconscious, which controls us, we have no free will because we have used all of our will to build something that controls us. We also have no personal power because we use all of our energy to create a subconscious, over which we have no control.
We cannot cross the line of our free will. When we use our free will to build our subconscious we cannot reverse this as long as we continue to use our will to suppress and repress. Also, and this is something that many have false beliefs about, SPIRIT OR POWER CANNOT HEAL US, ONLY WE CAN HEAL OURSELVES. Why? Because Spirit or Power cannot cross our line of free will. In other words, because we spend a lifetime using our will to repress and suppress our pain and build up our subconscious, Spirit or Power cannot reverse this, because this would be going against our will. Not even our Essential or True Self can cross this line of will.
We and only we are responsible for our healing. No one can do it for us, not a parent, not a teacher, not a Nagual or Master, not Spirit. A teacher can guide us. Spirit can assist us. But only we can do the work.
It takes an incredible amount of personal power to progress on a spiritual path. Through cleaning, clearing and healing the tonal we are able to reclaim our personal power and restore our free will. The Toltec Path provides us with these tools. When we are clean, clear and healed and have reclaimed our personal power, we are able to align to the Dreamer. We are able to experience true Freedom and have the Command of the Eagle at our hand.

Probably each degree of a sign.
Twelve signs appear on the horizon every 24 hours, that makes one sign every two hours.
Two hours = 120 minutes, and since each sign has 30 degrees you get exactly one degree rising on the eastern horizon every 4 minutes.
