Is a new series ... and it has all the "conspiracies" in them ... even "special" Gov operatives that hunt the tomorrow people...
The Tomorrow People (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2660734/)
"
The story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.
"
Its sad how they want to change our future perspective on everything ... and if you really think that there is no one controlling which series gets funded and what is the topic of that series then you are still asleep ;)

Oh, I don't know. I wouldn't just hold that assumption against everything that hits television or theaters. Seems like Cloud Atlas shoulda been spiked by the evil bosses then, shouldn't it?

It's surprizing to me, the number of SciFi shows that offer Tons of disclosure, under the subject of fiction.

Cloud Atlas was independently funded, most of the money for it came from Germany. It almost didn't make it to the theaters due to lack of funding and what a shame that would have been.

Any show that touches on the subjects, even if it blows them out of proportion, or veers off in the wrong directions with those subjects, like X-Files, is still of benefit. Because the first task is just to get people to accept that there are dictionary words for some of this stuff. :-) Seems like that's half the battle right there!
Lotsa people on Avalon have a decent idea what you're talking about if you use the word Matrix in conversation here. But for most of society, progress is just knowing that you're referring to something from the movie. Awaken the language, make it easier to awaken the folks who use it. Words like, Yoga, Meditation, Higher Self, Chakra, dimensions, consciousness, hypnosis, regression, near death experience, metaphysics, out of body experience, astral travel, healing energy, light worker, akashic records, manifesting, extradimensional, Source, ego, left-mind, right-mind, negative energy, auras, blockages, belief system, (lots of astrology words that I haven't got a clue about)... The list goes on and on and on.
Where we need to get to, and all these tv shows and movies are helping us to get there, is a point where you can pass a couple people in conversation and hear one of them say, "Reiki", and not automatically think you just walked by a nutcase. Progress. :-)

I used to be a big fan of the Tomorrow People when it was a BBC series when I was a kid.
If they are even remoteley on target to the original series, it should be OK.

something more in this
Defiance (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2189221/)
"
In the year 2046, it's a new Earth - with new rules. Over thirty years after various alien races arrived on Earth, the landscape is completely altered, terraformed nearly beyond recognition. To the town of Defiance, on what used to be St. Louis, comes the mysterious Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his charge, Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas). As they settle into town - overseen by the mayor, Amanda Rosewater (Julie Benz) and filled with residents like the powerful Rafe McCawley (Graham Greene), enterprising lounge owner Kenya (Mia Kirshner) and the ambitious, alien Tarrs (Tony Curran and Jaime Murray) - events begin to unfold that threaten the fragile peace this border town has fought for.

I watched the first couple episodes of tomorrow people, and it became clear to me that art indeed imitates life. No wonder why some of us are targets. We ARE the tomorrow people. Avalon is full of people in various stages of "breaking out"(waking up). Shocking how many truths in that series, even if "some" of the powers they have are exaggerated. Highly recommend!

This sounds like it might be worth watching -- the American version might have a better budget LOL
p.s. yep the powers are exaggerated, but what I hate about the so-called psychic community is the HIDING
where ARE they? lol making fun of everyone who is borderline, is what.
