Spirit of Ma'at Vol2 No8 by Drunvalo

Strange things are happening in both outer and inner space. Scientists in Russia, most prominently a man named Dmitriev, are discovering that the Solar System, the sun, and life itself are mutating in totally unprecedented ways.

--------------

The Sun

Let's begin with the Sun. The Sun is the center of our Solar System, and all life that is on this Earth came from the Sun. If there were no Sun, we would not be alive. This is simply scientific fact. And so any changes that occur in or on the Sun will eventually affect every person alive.

The solar activity during this last sunspot cycle was greater than anything ever seen before. Yet every astronomer that I talked to about this except one insisted that everything was "normal." That one person, who worked at NASA, claimed that what was going on within the Sun was absolutely incredible. She also said that she was not "allowed" to talk about it. But she talked anyway, because she felt that the world needed to know, but at the same time she asked that I not publicly discuss what she had said. Sort of a Catch-22. So the photo at left is just a hint (click on it for a larger view). It's a recent picture of the Sun from, I believe, the year 2000, showing multiple sunspots ringing the sun on the two latitudes of 19.48 north and south. Some of you will see the significance of this much energy's being emitted at this particular location.

23484

So let's look at the obvious question: What is normal?

For scientists, the idea of "normal" is based on making a long-term study, then averaging the results. But in the case of the Sun, we have been studying it for only about a 100 years — and it was not until the last half of the 20th century that the study was done with instruments that could be considered especially accurate. And so, since the Sun is at least 4.5 billion years old, our 100- or 50-year study of it is equivalent to writing about the final one or two seconds in the life of a man or woman who lived for 100 years. Would you consider that biography reliable?

We actually know nothing about the Sun that would enable us to say what is "normal."

We do know, however, that the Sun's magnetic field has changed in the last 100 years. There's a study by Dr. Mike Lockwood from Rutherford Appleton National Laboratories, in California. Dr. Lockwood has been investigating the Sun, and reports that since 1901 the overall magnetic field of the Sun has become stronger by 230 percent. No one knows what that truly means; it's only an observation.

And we do know that some of the sunspot activity in this last cycle was greater than anything ever recorded before in history. But we don't know what that means, either.

The Solar System

Then comes the information out of Russia last month, from the Russian National Academy of Science in Siberia, where scientists have come to the conclusion that we have moved into an area of space that is different and has a much higher energy level.

The Russians are reporting changes that are being recorded in space that have never been seen before. We cannot verify this information "for certain," but we do know that the scientific body reporting it is real, and that a Dr. Dmitriev does head this body. Also, I have personally been before the Russian National Academy of Science, in Moscow.

Speaking for the Academy in Siberia, Dr. Dmitriev says that the effects reported below have been observed (these are not quotes from Dr. Dmitriev, but extracts from his report).

Changes to the Leading Edge of the Heliosphere

The Sun itself has a magnetic field, and that magnetic field creates an "egg" around the Solar System that is known as the "heliosphere." The heliosphere is shaped like a teardrop, with the long, thin end of the drop pointing away from the direction in which we're traveling.

The Russians have looked at the leading edge of this heliosphere, and they have observed glowing, excited plasma energy there. The Sun's heliosphere used to be 10 astronomical units deep (an astronomical unit is the distance from the Earth to the Sun, approximately 93 million miles) — 10 astronomical units was the "normal" thickness of this glowing energy that we used to see at the front end of the Solar System.

Today, Dr. Dmitriev says that this glowing energy is now 100 astronomical units deep.

The Russian National Academy of Sciences doesn't give us a time-line, but the change from what was known and accepted to the way it is now represents a 1000 percent increase.

And the Russians say that this change in the Sun is changing how the planets function and what kind of life they could support. They even report — but don't explain — that the DNA spiral itself is altering. They feel that the continued expansion of the heliosphere will eventually take us into a new level of energy, that there will probably be a sudden expansion of the basic harmonic wavelengths that the Sun emits as it radiates energy out of itself, and that this increase in energy emission will change the basic nature of all matter in the Solar System.

That's a pretty bold statement, but it's followed by data to back it up:

•The atmospheres of five of the planets and the Earth's moon are changing.

a.When the United States landed on the moon in 1969, it found no atmosphere. Since then, the earth's moon is growing an atmosphere that wasn't there before, made up of a compound that Dr. Dmitriev refers to as "Natrium." This new atmosphere is now 6,000 kilometers deep.

b.The earth's atmosphere in the upper levels is forming HO gas that was not there before. It simply did not exist in the quantity that it does now. The Russians say it's not related to global warming and it's not related to CFCs or fluorocarbon emissions or anything like that. It's just showing up.

c.The Martian atmosphere is getting sizably thicker than it was before. The Mars Observer probe in 1997 lost one of its mirrors, which caused it to crash. This happened because the atmosphere was about twice as dense as NASA had calculated. Basically, the wind on that little mirror was so high that it blew it right off.

d.The atmospheres of Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune also are changing, according to the Russians, but they didn't explain.

•The brightness of the planets is changing.

a.Venus is showing marked increases in its overall brightness.

b.Jupiter's energetic charge has risen so high that there is actually a visible tube of ionizing radiation that's formed between the surface of Jupiter and its moon Io. You can actually see the luminous energy tube in photographs that have been taken recently.

c.Uranus and Neptune also are becoming brighter.

•The magnetic fields are changing.

a.Jupiter's magnetic field has more than doubled.

b.Uranus's magnetic field is changing — no explanation.

c.Neptune's magnetic field is increasing.

d.All three of these planets are becoming brighter, and their atmospheric qualities, say the Russians, are changing — but they do not explain what is meant by this.

What's truly amazing, since some people here on Earth have been expecting and predicting a pole shift for some time now, is that the Russians report that Uranus and Neptune appear to have had recent pole shifts. When the Voyager II space probe flew past Uranus and Neptune, the apparent north and south magnetic poles were sizably offset from where the rotational pole was in earlier recordings. In one case, it was 50 degrees off, and in the other case the difference was around 40 degrees.

Earth Changes

Let's talk about Earth now.

The Russians report two more facts:

1.On Earth, the overall volcanic activity increased 500 percent from 1875 to 1975, while the earthquake activity has increased by 400 percent since 1973.

2.Dr. Dmitriev says that comparing the years 1963 to 1993, the overall number of natural disasters — hurricanes, typhoons, mud slides, tidal waves, etc. — has increased by 410 percent.

The Earth's magnetic field has been decreasing. This decrease actually began 2000 years ago, but the rate of decrease suddenly became much more rapid 500 years ago. Now, in the last 20 years or so, the magnetic field has become erratic. Aeronautical maps of the world — which are used to allow airplanes to land using automatic pilot systems — have had to be revised worldwide in order for the automatic pilot systems to work. (This is very easy to check. Simply look at an aeronautical map prior to 1990 for any particular city airport, and then compare it to a present-day map.)

Late last year, the Arctic ice cap on the exact spot of the North Pole completely melted for the first time in known history. Green Peace reported that, relative to the winter ice pattern, the cap had previously melted over 300 miles toward the pole, and that late last year both military and civilian ships were able to actually pass directly over the North Pole. It was water. Until now, as far as we know, there has never been a time where the ice was less than ten feet thick.

In contrast, the South Pole has an ice cap that is about three miles deep, and yet huge pieces of ice continue to break off and melt.

What Is Going On?

Since 1900 we have gone from riding horses to landing on the moon. From sending letters by horseback to firing them off with instantaneous email, videophone, and satellites.

On the negative side, we have gone from warring with primitive weapons to atomic bombs and bioterrorism.

And perhaps even more significantly, in 1900 the Earth had 30 million species, species which took billions of years to create. Now, we have less than half that number — fewer than 15 million species. And this all happened in 100 years: a geological blink of an eye.

If someone from another planet were watching the Earth, they would say it was dying.

But now it seems something is going on that is beyond "business as usual." In their report, the Russians say that these same kinds of phenomena were occurring when the dinosaurs became extinct — a time that marked a gigantic shift in the earth's climate and weather patterns, and perhaps a pole shift, as well.

Stay Tuned

In September 1999, I talked with Dr. Edgar Mitchell — the astronaut who walked on the moon — and he told me that NASA had learned as many bits of information in five years as all of mankind had learned since the beginning of civilization, 6000 years ago. Further, he said that NASA had learned as much in the past six months as they had learned in that amazing five-year period.

But NASA is not sharing these revelations with us. So of course they would not reveal information that is as radical as that which the Russians are reporting. It is their nature to be silent about phenomena that could change the way we perceive ourselves in our rapidly changing world.

So today, the Spirit of Ma'at is in the process of contacting the Russian National Academies of Science in both Siberia and Moscow, not only to fully verify what is being said here, but hopefully in order to report to you in more depth about these amazing changes that are happening to our Sun, our Solar System, and our Earth.

Eleven Spacecraft Show Interstellar Wind Changed Direction Over 40 Years

http://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/sun_position_0.jpg?itok=FljhudbO

Like the wind adjusting course in the middle of a storm, scientists have discovered that the particles streaming into the solar system from interstellar space have most likely changed direction over the last 40 years. Such information can help us map out our place within the galaxy surrounding us, and help us understand our place in space.

The results, based on data spanning four decades from 11 different spacecraft, were published in Science on Sept. 5, 2013.

Vestiges of the interstellar wind flowing into what's called the heliosphere -- the vast bubble filled by the sun's own constant flow of particles, the solar wind – is one of the ways scientists can observe what lies just outside of our own home, in the galactic cloud through which the solar system travels. The heliosphere is situated near the inside edge of an interstellar cloud and the two move past each other at a velocity of 50,000 miles per hour. This motion creates a wind of neutral interstellar atoms blowing past Earth, of which helium is the easiest to measure.

"Because the sun is moving though this cloud, interstellar atoms penetrate into the solar system," said Priscilla Frisch, an astrophysicist at the University of Chicago, Ill. and the lead author on the paper. "The charged particles in the interstellar wind don't do a good job of reaching the inner solar system, but many of the atoms in the wind are neutral. These can penetrate close to Earth and can be measured."

Frisch became interested in this subject when results in January 2012 from NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer, or IBEX, showed that the interstellar wind was entering the heliosphere from a slightly different direction than had been observed by NASA's Ulysses mission in the 1990s. Frisch and her colleagues set out to gather as much evidence from as many sources as they could to determine whether the newer instruments simply provided more accurate results, or whether the wind direction itself changed over the years.

The earliest historical data on the interstellar wind comes from the 1970s from the U.S. Department of Defense's Space Test Program 72-1 and SOLRAD 11B, NASA's Mariner, and the Soviet Prognoz 6. While instruments have improved since the 1970s, comparing information from several sets of observations helped the researchers gain confidence in results from that early data. The team went on to look at another seven data sets including the Ulysses information from 1990 to 2001, and more recent data from IBEX, as well as four other NASA missions: the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, or STEREO, the Advanced Composition Explorer, or ACE, the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer, and the MErcury Surface, Space ENvironment, GEochemistry, and Ranging mission, or MESSENGER, currently in orbit around Mercury. The eleventh set of observations came from the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency's Nuzomi.

"The direction of the wind obtained from the most recent data does not agree with the direction obtained from the earlier measurements, suggesting that the wind itself has changed over time," said Eric Christian, the IBEX mission scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. "It's an intriguing result, which relied on looking at a suite of data measured in a bunch of different ways."

The various sets of observations relied on three different methods to measure the incoming interstellar wind. IBEX and Ulysses directly measure neutral helium atoms as they coursed through the inner solar system. IBEX's measurements are made close to Earth, while Ulysses' measurements reach out to the orbit of Jupiter.

The earliest measurements in the 1970s observed fluorescence that occurs when the extreme ultraviolet radiation coming from the sun scatters off the interstellar helium wind passing by the sun. Neutral helium atoms get caught by the sun's gravity, forming a focusing cone. As radiation from the sun bounces off these atoms, they give off light. Measuring the light provides information about the helium inflow direction.

The data from these diverse sources shows that the direction of the interstellar wind has changed some 4 to 9 degrees over the last 40 years.

The third technique to measure the helium wind relies on the fact that after this interaction with the sun's radiation, a fraction of neutral helium atoms gain an electron, and thus become charged. Many instruments in space are geared to study charged particles, such as instruments on NASA’s STEREO and ACE. Such instruments can measure the longitudinal direction of the particle wind, providing one last set of historical observations to round out the picture.

The data from these diverse sources shows that the direction of the interstellar wind has changed some 4 to 9 degrees over the last 40 years.

"Previously we thought the local interstellar medium was very constant, but these results show that it is highly dynamic, as is the heliosphere’s interaction with it," said David McComas, IBEX principal investigator at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas.

While the reason for – and, indeed, the exact timing of – the shift is still unclear, Frisch pointed out that scientists know our solar system is close to the edge of the local interstellar cloud. Such an area of the galaxy might experience turbulence, and as we hurtle through space, the heliosphere could be exposed to different directions of wind. While the scientists don't yet know for sure how the direction switch happened, the team believes that additional observations should ultimately explain its cause, giving us even more information about the galaxy that surrounds us.

Hi

Here's a nice assessment from the Thunderbolts team describing the emergence of 'change' :)

Moving Beyond Falling

http://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Polar-Configuration.jpg

Nov 01, 2013

It’s exciting to discover a new idea that explains more facts with more unity than previous ideas. It’s exhilarating to discover two such new ideas that interact to reveal opportunities previously unimaginable.

That’s what happened with heliocentrism and gravity. Copernicus’ idea that the planets moved around the sun instead of around the earth was a breakthrough. It explained the growing number of observations of planetary motions that Ptolemy’s geocentric idea was failing to account for. The proliferation of ad hoc adjustments to Ptolemy’s system of epicycles had become self-contradictory, and the heliocentric viewpoint fit the new observations together as neatly as epicycles did the old observations.

Newton’s idea of gravity also explained more observations better than had Aristotle’s idea of “it’s the nature of things to fall.” Aristotle never measured falling objects, but if he had, he would have measured the distance to the ground. It’s unlikely he would have discovered any pattern, any scheme of recurrence, in the data. But from the viewpoint of gravity, the important measurement is the distance from the beginning of the fall. There’s a readily-discoverable relationship in that data, easily summarized in a mathematical equation.

But the ideas of gravity and heliocentrism together were more powerful than the sum of their separate explanatory powers. From the combined viewpoint, the planets didn’t just move around the sun, they “fell” around the sun. The mathematics of falling could be developed into equations of motion for orbits. And those equations could not only describe the motions of the planets but could invent additional motions. Suddenly, people could build spaceships that would “follow the math” and take them to the planets.

Now it’s happening again. The Saturn Theory and the Electric Universe each explain larger bodies of data with greater unity than previously-accepted ideas in their fields.

The Electric Universe provides an integrated explanation for the growing mass of astronomical observations that are becoming a morass of contradictory ad hoc confusions. Craters, rilles, parallel grooves, domes, arachnoids, neutrino fluxes, sunspot characteristics, coronal heat, nebulous filaments, pulsars, galactic jets, quantized redshifts … each has its separate and ill-fitting conventional excuse. But all can be explained as aspects of the single phenomenon of plasma.

The Saturn Theory extracts a coherent intelligibility from the recurring plots, characters, and forms of globally-dispersed stories, artifacts, and symbols. Dragons, cosmic thunderbolts, radiant goddesses, lightning-scarred warriors, sacred enclosures, world mountains, revolving crescents, universal floods … each has failed to conform with commonplace interpretations. But all fit into a logical unity of the polar configuration.

Both the Saturn Theory and the Electric Universe are exciting ideas. But together they establish a viewpoint that replaces the idea of gravitational free-fall with the bigger idea of electrically driven motion. The previously-unimaginable possibility arises that there could be other “modes” of motion than falling. The Saturn Theory provides evidence for a second mode: an axial alignment of planets. A third mode may explain, rather than explain away, the enigmatic motions-or lack of motion-of globular clusters, companion galaxies, quasars, and ball lightning: These all exhibit a kind of “suspended” motion, seeming to hang in space in defiance of gravity. And a fourth mode could be the “flat” rotation profiles of galaxies.

These various modes are present in the force-free filaments Alfven described in the 1963 reedition of Cosmic Electrodynamics: Charges at the center of a filament move along the axis, generating a spiral magnetic field at the outside. Charges on the outside, following that field, “orbit” around the center, creating the linear field along which the core charges flow. Charges intermediate in the filament follow proportionately-stretched helixes. Scaling up a lab-sized filament to the dimensions of a galactic spiral arm would suggest similar motions could occur with charged planets.

Gravity and heliocentrism together provided the viewpoint that empowered travel around the solar system. The Saturn Theory and the Electric Universe together may provide the viewpoint that empowers travel around the galaxy.
