I do not hate Obama. Let's just get that out into the open. That said, I find this announcement somewhat creepy. I don't know why. Looking forward to feedback.

PREPARING THE UNITED STATES FOR THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to prepare the Nation for the impacts of climate change by undertaking actions to enhance climate preparedness and resilience, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. The impacts of climate change -- including an increase in prolonged periods of excessively high temperatures, more heavy downpours, an increase in wildfires, more severe droughts, permafrost thawing, ocean acidification, and sea-level rise -- are already affecting communities, natural resources, ecosystems, economies, and public health across the Nation. These impacts are often most significant for communities that already face economic or health-related challenges, and for species and habitats that are already facing other pressures. Managing these risks requires deliberate preparation, close cooperation, and coordinated planning by the Federal Government, as well as by stakeholders, to facilitate Federal, State, local, tribal, private-sector, and nonprofit-sector efforts to improve climate preparedness and resilience; help safeguard our economy, infrastructure, environment, and natural resources; and provide for the continuity of executive department and agency (agency) operations, services, and programs.

I find it interesting--and somewhat disturbing, in an Orwellian sense--that you feel the need to preface your alarm over an executive decision from the White House with a statement that you do not hate President Obama.

To say we are afflicted by a self-censoring psyops would be an understatement, to say the least.

We do indeed live in interesting times....

I read the whole thing and could find nothing whatsoever substantial in it, actually dealing with climate changes. He made another federal agency, told the members they were going to have to support themselves in carrying out duties (no fed money to pay for this fed mandated agency), ordered all states and tribes to create new agencies for "resilience" to climate change - and pay for it themselves - and that's about it.

But the first paragraph wherein he recognized unusual weather patterns was interesting.

Sounds like they are covering their asses against any compensation claims from the victims. SRM HAARP program chem trails etc, I bet this is in preparation for the public reaction to the awareness that governments are and continue to mess with the weather.

I also feel a sinister overtone from this, perhaps it's just the IMPACT word. LOL

They probably want to blame everything on climate change.

Its part & parcel to the roll-out of the classic political maneuvering of taking something that is occurring naturally & label it a man-made threat. Its about propagandizing the population so that their wealth can be stolen away from them later. It falls in line with the present scheme of implementing Obamacare, which is not about health care, but rather about it being a money-grab.

Namely, this Executive Order is preceding the implementation a new tax base, i.e. 'Carbon Tax'. Obamacare & Carbon Taxing go hand in hand. Get ready to be financial raped of your wealth.

Mike Rivero is very much on top of the propaganda related to this 'Carbon Taxation' scheme.

Thanks Snowflower - precisely! I looked and looked throughout all of that legalese verbiage and kept thinking wth is this really setting up for? If the whole thing could be summed up in a couple sentences, what would it actually say? You nailed it, but I'm still wondering what the intention is behind this EO and why it feels so, um, creepy to me.

Maybe the White House is just drawing a line in the sand and stating that climate change is 'real' - by setting a legal precedent.

And thanks for your insightful remark T Smith, I think Obama is a complete tool, but there are enough bashing threads out there already..

Well another executive order on a Friday evening, I've heard some 900+ now during this administration. As if there wasn't enough laws on the books to begin with , were going to need an administration to administer the administration. Something is definitely moving to a point and I have not been able to finger it . I'm going to throw up hypothetically what if there was a land shift due to the poles and earth heating up and possibly this is the reason why this was signed. Who knows but there sure has been a bunch of prep work in the last 2 years , look at all of the earthquake drills along the Mississippi river and the west coast, all the ghost cities in china some 70 million units, the seed vault in the arctic and on and on .

It's kind of comical in a sense because if things ever hit the fan , during all the chaos, are you ever just going to stop and say , hey wait , we have to see if that goes along with that executive order? Ya right, now during non-chaos times, this may be worth looking into. My 2 cents.
