if you believe, as I do, that the Federal Reserve is one of the key concentrations of bankster control of our government and our way of life, here's a chance to add pressure to your representatives.

I am not a fan of many of Rand Paul's positions but I sure do think we need to regain control of our currency which is on the edge of collapse. If there is a ground swell of support, Congress will have to move forward on this.

The public voice to Congress about war in Syria did keep that from happening and now we have a voice in Congress about the Fed. Please at least click the link and consider signing. Thank you

LivioRazlo, thank you so very much. I do not participate in Facebook so I really appreciate that you care enough to spread the word. And it is inspiring that you understand the importance of this and care. Thank you, thank you!

I understand more than you think. I will soon be reading Ron Paul's "End the Fed" when it comes in the mail so I can gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the Federal Reserve. I tried to have a discussion with my Economics professor about the Fed, since we are studying it currently, and all he would say is that there are some conspiracies out there about the Fed, which are more than likely true. I am only on Facebook to spread the word to family and friends. You can lead a horse to water, but it's up to them to drink. Same with disseminating this information - they can choose to learn about it in time to stop it, or face the consequences. If I may also quote Henry Ford, "It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

LivioRazlo, I bet you do understand more than I think. From your page, I see you are a poly sci student in near by Indiana. I am sure you would like to keep the best of the past and add the best of the future. My best to you.

Hello LivioRazlo,

You can tell your economics professor that any so called "conspiracies" surrounding the Fed are not in question. They are absolutely and certainly true and 100% factual. As an educator, he should be more versed on the subject. (And please feel free to chide him on this point)...

Ron Paul's End the Fed is a fine book and will provide a very good understanding of what the Fed is to a lay person. An even more detailed and historical study, which I highly recommend, is G. Edward Griffin's The Creature From Jeckyl Island. You will probably learn more about how our monetary system works (indeed our entire socioeconomic political system) between the covers of that book than you will in your entire four-year career in academia.

I can understand when everyone was ignorant and clueless for the last 100 years, but what's the excuse now?
The Federal Reserve was a deal made with the devil, and exposure of a criminal element at least going back to 1913...
We are fighting the same thing in Canada, even Paul Hellyer has made the comment... that the government HAS the MANDATE to print it's own money

So why are we putting the control of our life blood in the hands of a private corporation that refuses to be audited for over 100 years in spite of the fact
they have thrown the entire Western economy on the brink of financial collapse?

They have stolen our energy, our labour, our credit, our future and the future of our children. What other sector of the economy (besides the government)
sucks up 20,30,40 % of all the money to simply do the banking and accounting...?????

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all 3 die and go to hell.

While walking around and exploring the premises, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for.

The devil tells them that it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he has finished the devil informs him that the cost is 1 million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she hangs up the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he finishes the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush gets to call the USA so cheaply.

The devil smiles and says, "Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call."

Your professor is to be be applauded, most educators are not even willing to entertain the thought that there are conspiracies about the fed. It may not sound like much but it is a start. If more professors were willing to acknowledge that there may be problems with the fed, it might get things moving. I would encourage you to ask your professor to talk openly about the conspiracies and explain why they might be true! I would love to hear what he has to say.

Ten Things Every Person on the planet should know. The Fed is really a bankers bank, their actions touch every citizen on planet earth, in one form or another.

1 The Federal Reserve System Is A Privately Owned Banking Cartel
2 The Federal Reserve System Is A Perpetual Debt Machine
3 The Federal Reserve Has Destroyed More Than 96% Of The Value Of The U.S. Dollar
4 The Federal Reserve Can Bail Out Whoever It Wants To With No Accountability
5 The Federal Reserve Is Paying Banks Not To Lend Money
6 The Federal Reserve Creates Artificial Economic Bubbles That Are Extremely Damaging
7 The Federal Reserve System Is Dominated By The Big Wall Street Banks
8 It Is Not An Accident That We Saw The Personal Income Tax And The Federal Reserve System Both Come Into Existence In 1913
9 The Current Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, Has A Nightmarish Track Record Of Incompetence
10 The Federal Reserve Has Become Way Too Powerful

Can you only imagine that we have to have an act of congress to audit the largest and most powerful financial institution on the planet. Even with an act of congress, it will most likely not pass.

I do agree with you, but in my view it's not far enough. In other words, why the half measure? I don't think the word "probably" is appropriate when addressing well-known facts that are not in dispute... That's like applauding an enlightened priest in medieval times for advising his interrogative understudy that the earth is "probably" round, but...

I would have more respect for the professor if she/he said, "yes, the questions you are bringing up about the Federal Reserve are true, but it is beyond the purview of information sanctioned by the interests that sponsor this institution (which, by the way is the entity that pays me to convey said information within tacit boundaries...)

But yes, we should applaud the professor. It is certainly more than the moronic economic professors in my collegiate years who peddled the narrative that the earth was flat....

rgray222, I should have been more clarifying in my statement above. It's not that he wasn't willing to talk about it, just not in front of the whole class while we were having lecture. He seemed totally open to the idea and willing to discuss it with me and as he has a Master in Economics, I'm sure that he is well aware of the situation in America, no matter how many times I blurt out in class about the systematic destruction of America from within through the economy and money system.

On another note, I just want to state that not even I totally understand what it going on in America. I listen to Alex Jones and have watched many documentaries, but do not fully comprehend the situation going on. With so many people saying there is an issue, they couldn't be wrong, correct? I figure if I actually spent some time studying these issues and applying my knowledge, I'm sure I could figure out what's going on enough to understand it and enlighten others.
