DON'T be alarmed, but you have alien DNA in your genetic code. Science says so.

Scientists from Kazakhstan believe that human DNA was encoded with an extraterrestrial signal by an ancient alien civilisation, Discovery.com reports (http://news.discovery.com/space/alien-life-exoplanets/could-an-alien-message-be-embedded-in-our-genetic-code-130401.htm).

They call it "biological SETI" and the researchers claim that the mathematical code in human DNA cannot be explained by evolution.

In a nutshell, we're living, breathing vessels for some kind of alien message which is more easily used to detect extra terrestrial life than via radio transmission.

"Once fixed, the code might stay unchanged over cosmological timescales; in fact, it is the most durable construct known," the researchers wrote in scientific journal, Icarus. "Therefore it represents an exceptionally reliable storage for an intelligent signature.

"Once the genome is appropriately rewritten the new code with a signature will stay frozen in the cell and its progeny, which might then be delivered through space and time."

The scientists also claim that human DNA is ordered so precisely that it reveals an "ensemble of arithmetical and ideographical patterns of symbolic language".

Their research has led the scientists to conclude that we were invented "outside the solar system, already several billion years ago".

The thesis supports the hypothesis that Earth is the result of interstellar life forms distributed by meteors and comets.

So if we are just vessels for alien communication, exactly what kind of secret message are we carrying in our DNA?

And if we were the creation of aliens, who created them?

The article appears to be real, but the discovery publishing date is 'suspect' (questionable).

If the original research work has been published notably earlier, then there is no reason to publish in discovery magazine on April 1st, unless they were purposely trying to put it in a position of being debunked in western society, via the mechanism of using an 'April fools day' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools%27_Day) discovery magazine publishing date.

This is seemingly deliberate subterfuge by the Discovery magazine website.

It could even be a concerned editorial person for the on line publication, that feels the article needs to be seen and the only way they could get it published on the website..is to put it out there on April 1st. Meaning, the article was available much earlier, but they waited and chose that publication date. From the opening page of the article:

After some depth of research for the past half hour or more, it does not appear to be an April fools joke, but deliberate spin and debunking by discovery magazine's website -on a legitimate and in depth bit of research.

Being able to do this this sort of in depth work with DNA will be more and more common, now that DNA sequencing is getting down in price and complexity to the $100 level, from the near impossible costs of yesteryear. Meaning, this avenue of research into DNA and scientific questing and questioning is only now beginning to open up. All due to a low cost of obtaining the raw data.

I first came to understand the possible significance of our 'junk' dna reading Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods and in there he referenced Crick's ideas about it.

Searching online shows a lot of controversy about Hancock's usage and categorization of other scientists work, however.

I have not had a conversation with an intelligent person (recently) that thinks that the Genetic Code in which we were patterned, somehow evolved here on earth. The code would have had to 'self assemble' at an alarming rate, compared to evolution. Evolution has waaaayyy too many flaws in it to take it seriously either. The concept of life being seeded throughout the universe is not new. It is almost so simple that it cannot be ignored. I have been hearing about some very advanced science that is taking place in Russia,,, well, this is not exactly Russia, but it is impressive science. We will keep our eye on this one. Why would they release it if they were going to debunk it??? They released Roswell, then debunked it... The Roswell story was released by a ranking military officer who was NOT in the 'know' about the alien coverup. I imaging that this was similar. Not everybody works for the cabal. (I think)
