It's super weird timing!

Are they actually working together, or does India really not trust NASA?

I think it's cool that they want to look for life on Mars in deep-down water deposits eventually. :)

I like their approach to methane detection, i.e. looking for plumes rather than a constant -- after all, if life needs water and water isn't constantly present throughout the crust of Mars, it wouldn't be an even deal -- you wouldn't find the same amount, or any perhaps, in any two places on Mars.

It would depend on the size and depth of the water.

NASA should know better, for shame!
