Reminds me of the story of Enkidu the wild man who became a friend of King Gilgamesh in the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh. This story of Zana is truly groundbreaking. Thanks again for post.

I love Avalon... how everything eventually comes to us... LOL!!! I have been waiting for something like this great, great find marlow! Most of it fits... after all Lloyd was only speculating on Zana's origin when he said she could possibly be a Neanderthal... ?

The Scientist seems to be even handed in his analysis and speculation... laying it out, step by step... The only part left was the last speculation and it clearly leans on the "ancient" features of her skull... and the first thought that came to mind was the story that Lloyd Pye had past on about what the Villagers had said. That the first children born to Zana, never survived because she took them down to a stream to rinse them off... so they took the later children, that they wouldn't be killed

update: also another thought came to mind... if she was simply a "hidden black slave" with so many children, some of them should have been unmistakably black or mulatto... however if it was an ancient race that had been living there for several thousands of years... classic environmental adaptation would have selected genes more favourable to a climate with less hot sunlight and longer darker winter seasons... ie. a lighter skinned individual, hairy surely, but not necessarily the dark black you would expect in Africa... and this seems to be the case...


Now that doesn't sound like a story you could make up in the late 1800's... and is consistent with the idea that she was a "breed" apart... that the babies were weaker then what she might typically have given birth to... And it certainly explains, and is consistent with why they were able to breed with her at all...

And it begs the question... what would other Bigfoot DNA look like? I am guessing it would be amazingly "human" as well... not a big reach considering even Steven Greer's 6 inch alien was like 90% human DNA... variants of Intelligent bipedal homosapien 'like' DNA may be more universal then we think? I wonder if someone really knows and just doesn't want us to... like those Senior apes in the Planet of the Apes movies... remember those evil monkey dudes?

This DNA testing by Dr.Sykes has been one of them....Even though Lloyd Pye is dying of cancer I'm sure he has a smile on his face because of these Bigfoot/human hybrid DNA Tests....
