A few days ago I came across a post about this article. But I can not find the post now.
The article starts: I have not gone to the dark side. But by the time you finish reading this, you will understand why I will not work for the light any longer. My own paraphrasing. It is a long article .
I also do Pinterest. I came across this article there. On a board belonging to Larry Taylor. A very interesting man. He has a one man blog. Many of his pins fit in here at Avalon. If any one is interested in reading about Cameron Day's unwillingness to work for the light. You can find the whole article at Rise Earth .com

There is something that sounds very similar in post #99 called Why I am no Longer a Lightworker, by Cameron Day:

Yes, I'm sure this is the article Christine was thinking of - I've read it too a couple of weeks ago. I did understand what Cameron was talking about but it has totally unsettled me as I've been happily working with 'angels' for many years - not professionally but personally. I find it very unsettling to think my guardian angel may be an 'ankle-biter' or velon of some sort attached to me draining my energy! If this is really the case then I feel very sorry for Lorna Byrne who see angels and may be being totally duped...I don't know what's real and what's not these days. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as it challenges us to look further. i have a lot more thoughts on this but they are muddled. I have however always felt some kind of very loving positive energy around me, and helping me at my times of greatest need - so what is this? My higher self?

Becky, I am in agreement with you. It is very unsettling . Eeeh gads, it's like who can you trust. You are right. About feeling. We should try not to label or name everything. You know the old saying........you can't tell a book from it's cover. Perhaps we can Unmuddle our thoughts together. I received so many new thoughts last night, after thinking about this article. Much to sift through and piece together. Elsewhere here at Avalon, I have said, I think we are at a critical e point. At least it seems to go without saying, we can't get cold feet now. Have faith that where there is a choice, you will make the right one. Blessings.

For those unsettling feelings, I think the best thing to do is just plunge into the subject matter that makes you feel that way and figure it out before letting that go on any longer.
The discussion on the Chris Thomas thread is proving very helpful to me with that.
I can't agree more with what he says about our Higher Self and how powerful we are once we are really connected, and I think his explanations about that are very clear and easy to understand.
There's just no substitute for that connection!

I completely agree with onawah, there's really no substitute for connecting to that inner source of truth within us all, what some call Higher Self.
On the flip side, that is why I sometimes take these articles with a grain of salt. Or two grains with some authors. I will always side with my inner experience over something I read somewhere. It takes a lot of honesty to do this and I admit that sometimes my mind convinces me of something that ultimately proves not to be true. That's alright, though. It's all part of the learning process. Discerning the source of Truth within is the greatest quest of all. Whenever we choose to trust outside sources of information above our own, we ultimately deprive ourselves of this gift and training.
I remember an advanced spiritual practitioner once being asked about reincarnation. The questioner asked him if reincarnation was real. His response? "Through my experiences I have learned that reincarnation is real. I remember all of my past lives. It is very real to me. However, do not trust what I am saying. Never trust what I say. Look within yourself for the answer to your question. To know what I know, you must experience what I have experienced. I cannot give this experience to you. I can only point the way."
And there you go. Why read about someone else's experiences? The only thing this can do is provide inspiration for you to find the truth for yourself - by looking within. This is what discernment (http://www.newmessage.org/wisdom-from-the-greater-community-volume-2-chapter-6-discernment)is all about.

Thank you to Christine, Onawah and S-L for this thread and the comments. I do agree that we must find our own truth. There has been so much info/disinfo....and everyones Truth I think is probably different to everyone elses. I remember Bashar saying something similar. But it does make my head spin....especially if I am not grounded :-) x
