Cold fusion reactor independently verified,
has 10,000 times the energy density of gas
Rossi has finally allowed the scientific community to verify his theory...
http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/156393-cold-fusion-reactor-independently-verified-has-10000-times-the-energy-density-of-gas
Against all probability, a device that purports to use cold fusion to generate vast amounts of power has been verified by a panel of independent scientists. The research paper, which hasn’t yet undergone peer review, seems to confirm both the existence of cold fusion, and its potency: The cold fusion device being tested has roughly 10,000 times the energy density and 1,000 times the power density of gasoline. Even allowing for a massively conservative margin of error, the scientists say that the cold fusion device they tested is 10 times more powerful than gasoline — which is currently the best fuel readily available to mankind.

Good. The article dates back from 5 months ago.
A month later (June 2013) Hydro-Fusion in Sweden was looking for a Pilot Customer for ECAT 1 MW plant, expecting to launch production about... now. It is unclear whether they have made any progress.

The PESWIKI website provides regular updates on this type of projects, referred as LENR for Low Energy Nuclear Reactors.
Here is the latest update dated Nov 7 http://pesn.com/2013/11/07/9602390_LENR-to-Market_Monthly_November7/
Unfortunately, contrary to what could be expected from the title of the opening article, I see that PESWIKI has retrograded Rossi's reactor from the 2nd to the 5th place in their "Top 5 Exotic Free Energy Technologies".

Still. It is still in the top5 :)

Alex Collier actually said they nailed cold fusion years ago. Hope this is the start to releasing the technologies to us all.

Having followed the cold fusion story, and especially Rossi's work, closely for a number of years, it is difficult for me to stay excited about it, as I once was. To be blunt, if it was for real, and he had the customers that he said he had, it should have been commercialised by now, it should have been out there, undeniable. But it isn't.
I think that's why it's only at number 5 at PESWiki. I heard an interesting interview with the PESWiki guy, Sterling Allen, a while ago, he said that is only 10% about whether the technology, and 90% about the inventor. That didn't make sense to me at that time, I thought the important thing was whether the technology really worked or not. But Sterling Allen has been working in this field for years now, he knows what he is talking about, and I think I understand his opinion a bit better now, even though it doesn't totally make sense to me, this is probably my lack of understanding.
I don't know whether the PTB will ever allow cold fusion to get out into the public. But, I guess they would prefer 3D printing to remain unavailable, and look what is happening now with 3D guns, even in metal. So if 3D printing can get commercialised, cold fusion can too. Sure, it would upset a lot of applecarts.
But, at the same time, if the economy gets worse (more like, when it does), wouldn't a limited unveiling of cold fusion by the PTB actually strengthen them, by which I mean keeping the electricity distribution grid in place, and just having centralised free energy, so everyone is still on the grid, just has much lower energy bills (after all, distribution is still going to cost money)? Shifting everything like cars, etc. over to electricity would cost a tonne of money, from one perspective that is the chance for the government to spend a lot of money to create a lot of jobs, etc. And everything still on the grid.
Free energy is not a panacea. Not by itself. We gotta think about the big picture, consciousness.
Preaching to the converted, I know. Just a few musings.

Oh Sigma I know how you are dying to see some real one just as I am. But the reality is that when you want to hide something you point people here and there where there is nothing to find it goes with all kinds of topics. What really sadden me is the fact that many people still trust those "independent scientific research". Who's behind them who's providing the funds. 100 of scientist is a lot of funds. But I will put my trust in you (not a scientist) than to them.
The reality of free energy is much simpler than what most people think. It's already a common household device just need some tweaks and additions.

Could you expand on this subject, brother? Such kinds of assertive statements are pointless if not clearly explained.
Anyway, the e-cat is promising indeed.
Unlike Keshe, who's very probably a fraud, Andrea Rossi seems to be a very serious man.
Here's the oficial e-cat website:
http://ecat.com/
And here's a blog with the latest updates:
http://www.e-catworld.com/
As Rossi says (http://www.e-catworld.com/2013/11/more-on-e-cat-validations/), the "validation is still in course and will continue probably until the first quarter of the year 2014 before the results of the validation tests will be communicated."
Anyway, don't expect to be able to buy a domestic version of the e-cat. As Rossi himself says, it's a complex and potentially dangerous device that could be used only by qualified and well trained persons:
"Safety certification is necessary and must be made by a major certification company. Laws are the same in all the world. The E-Cat poses relevant problems in domestic applications, where not qualified Customers can use it. We should be exposed to enormous risks, also for voluntary sabotages.
Can you imagine what our enemies could do in a “friendly” apartment with an E-Cat they could buy for 1,000 $ in a shop ? This is why, realistically, domestic application cannot be a priority. It is a matter of good sense. It is not a matter of product failure to get a certification, it is a matter of a situation that makes impossible to get a certification in these conditions. Safety remains an absolute priority, wherever we put the E-Cats in the world."
Of course, if such device is so efficient in terms of energy generation, it could also be used for evil purposes. So, if it ever becomes a common energy generation application, it will have to be managed by regulated energy companies, similar to what's done with conventional nuclear energy.

Did you guys catch the transmutation bit?
If this is true, which is a big if, lol, the fact that scientists can freely change a hazardous material like nickel into a safe one, like copper, is amazing.
not even considering the electrical applications and what this really means, that we can obtain precious metals from the yuckier ones with only a bit of hydrogen?
This is amazing, it amounts to star fusion in a jar -- stars produce precious metals only under very specialized conditions, and if people can produce copper in a jar, this means that space colonization isn't just some pipe dream -- as humans learn to safely obtain a large amount of precious metals, we can build more craft and more machines;
i.e. we will be able to colonize moons and other planets without raping our own planet via mining.
I would imagine the financial industry and the mining industry want to SMASH findings like these into oblivion.
Being able to manufacture gold and copper and silver in a jar is just too much for them, lol.
p.s. before prisonplanet banned me a few years ago, I was talking about CERN being able to manufacture gold but not willing to tell the public.
could this be true, that these well-paid research agencies simply perform the bidding of the corporatists?
I hope we see some this tech put into practice for the good of the people soon, and not for the good of the elite.
p.p.s the bad thing about using this technology is that it invites others to sabotage it by performing the opposite process, i.e. de-naturization of precious metals.
i asked the question in the context of the WTC, i.e. the gold that is missing may have been destroyed outright, using a strange electrical process.

We all have reasons for telling or not telling. My advice to free energyers is to start from your own workshop to understand what is really electricity. It is pointless to start from deceptive theories and laws of [mainstream]science. Yes that is what Nikola Tesla (and other great inventors) did he conducted experiments to understand fully what is the nature of electricity and from there proceeded to create marvels of electrical world. Victor schauberger also got his understanding from nature.
I have said it before and will said it again. "Start from the fundamentals". This will give a correct perspective. It's bit funny and sometime frustrating but if you observe people, this forum is no exception, people tend to hit here and there without a concise perspective.
Do you really believe google will allow something that is not good to it's controllers?
People are fund of verified scientific reports. Have we ask our selves the credentials of those who verified it, other than the PhD's that precedes their names? If you say you verified it I might believe you because I knew you.
