In a packed courtroom, 52-year-old Ernie Tertelgte told the judge “I am a living man protected by natural law and I have the right to forage for food when I am hungry… You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action.”

Charged with fishing without a license and resisting the arrest for fishing without a license, Mr. Tertegte says he’s being wrongly prosecuted for trying to feed himself.

Tertelgte, 52 years old, was arrested on Monday and is accused of fishing without a license and then resisting arrest.

EPIC!!! Mr. Tertelgte is absolutely 100 hundred percent correct. Fantastic statement. You have now become a poster boy for resistance Mr. Tertelgte. Congrats to you sir and by all means keep doing what you are doing and the system be damned.

Good for him and good for humanity. They can't break every entrance to sustainability of life or charge for it, then take the jobs overseas, leave the people destitute, then arrest them for not having a "license to eat?"
Huh?! What the heck...did our parents and grandparents fall asleep at the voting switch or go into a coma. They better do something better than spread old memories and teachings of hate as a legacy. Nobody's buying the irresponsibility as they march millions to their death for profit of some pollution factory.

I've always held the belief that as long as a person was hungry, unable to find a job for the skill they have and are bouncing from pillow to post, they should have the right to feed themselves and not have to skulk around in the night to prevent arrest. If they become famished and have a family to feed, is it not right they walk to the shores created by the maker, and ask that they may be blessed with a meal to feed that family, if they are jobless? If they steal food they are arrested, so if they gather a fishing line and cast it in the sea or water to fish, this prevents crime. This is a Universal Human right, and the minute they start penalizing the God given natural rights to feed one's self vehicle, then they themselves break EVERY Law of life on any livable planet, and they are the criminals.

As long as it's no one's pet for dinner, leave the man soul alone.

So, what happened to him afterwards?

Was he arrested, prosecuted or fined?

It's crucial to know if his strategy worked or not.

Hello Eligos:
Thanks for posting! This was very interesting! I was interested in knowing where you got that the case was dismissed? I watched the video and saw the judge leave the courtroom and then Ernie left.
Can you please provide me with: case dismissed information.
Thanks for your time

Great performance but they will soon be
chasing him up the Mountain !!!

One day they will pick on the wrong 'MEN' !!!!

OK this is Hollywood hype and bit of Mk Utra...LOL

But what was far fetched to most in the 80's seems
to be playing out today....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prisons make Billions on forced labour....This is a sick !!

The Corporates undercut the wages in the US, thus losing
manufacturing industry to China and low wage economies.
Now they are fighting back by undercutting the
Sweatshops......It would be funny if not so serious.

Long live the land of the 'Not' so Free..!!!

I should add I'm not against , genuine prisoners
working to pay towards the cost of incarceration,
or work experience for when they re join society
but this is not right imo...Just cheap labour, if
nothing else under cutting ordinary workers.

US breeds a Chinese-style inmate labor scheme on its own soil.
Both state and some of the biggest private companies are now
enjoying the fruits of a cheap and readily available work force,
with tens of millions of dollars spent by private prisons to keep
their jails full.

The "case dismissed", was added to the you tube video. Was a package deal. The video was his first hearing. The second hearing was more orderly. He will have a third hearing in January. Have to wait until then. To see if his strategy works. One can only hope.

I would say this is far from over... if nothing else, the system has time on its side; watching that video was interesting; but I'm very surprised it went the way it went and a well prepared court will put up a much different hearing.

Interesting case

The amount of time, energy, grief, expense, and loss of sleep this man is going to devote to winning his case, I have to wonder if he has already lost the war even if he was to win the battle :noidea:

It is a shame when we fall into these conflicts.

However what makes life interesting is there is a never ending road filled with conflicts to experience :juggle:.

I live over the (Now dying, soon to be stagnant pond) in England.
Part of my culture and history is to know that you over there (Americans) have built your country on the backs of many a great mountain man/trapper legend!
These legends have had many a great hollywood film about them, many a commercial trade has been built around such legends!
Mountain men and the like are a big part of my childhood vision of America.

What is happening now to these independent great people and their way of life is a total crime.

Our City folk and towne lifestyles have killed the countryside (Of cause I'm not saying not all), and the land the waters, the wildlife and mainly in the name of sport or commercial gain; BUT-NOT the Mountain man!

I would like to see all-and-any American/Canadian-state that still makes a living on off the history of the Mountain-Men and those akin to such lifestyles to STOP.
Either defend such people and their lifestyles or STOP being such great hypocrites and make money by some other means!

Why don't the so called leaders just come clean, 'they don't like us', 'they don't need us' 'they don't want us'.
They have caused this Rot and Death in the world by not living up to their job descriptions (Leaders, Governors,) ROLF to call them that really would make me Roll-On-Floor-Laughing if it wasn't such a crime!

So at least STOP using such Legends and life styles to make State finances!

I am wondering how familiar the readers at avalon are about what the man is referring to? Are you aware that an act signed in 1871 which created a corporation that uses the same name as our country, but is a corporation. This site explains it well. http://www.serendipity.li/jsmill/us_corporation.htm. "In essence, this Act formed the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. Note the capitalization, because it is important. This corporation, owned by foreign interests, moved right in and shoved the original "organic" version of the Constitution into a dusty corner. With the "Act of 1871," our Constitution was defaced in the sense that the title was block-capitalized and the word "for" was changed to the word "of" in the title. The original Constitution drafted by the Founding Fathers, was written in this manner:

"The Constitution for the united states of America".

The altered version reads: "THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". It is the corporate constitution. It is NOT the same document you might think it is. The corporate constitution operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it is the same parchment that governs the Republic. It absolutely is not."

That is what he is referring to when he says "All caps", he is a man that knows the true constitution.

The bankers making millions from the Royal Mail firesale

‘They were hired by the Government to help sell one of its most valuable and
historic assets – and were paid millions of pounds in fees for their work valuing
Royal Mail ahead of its flotation last month.

Goldman Sachs and UBS priced the company at £3.30-a-share, raising the taxpayer
£1.7bn from the sale. But shares instantly soared in value and have remained high
ever since. At tonight’s closing price of 545p more than a month after the initial
public offering, the public purse would be more than £1bn better off. The official
share register, obtained by The Independent, shows there were 518 separate
entities holding more than 5,000 Royal Mail shares by the end of October. City
firms applied for more than 20 times the number of shares available – and both
Goldman Sachs and UBS have piled in to the frenzy.’

Does anyone know where I can learn more about Admirality (sp?)Law ? It is my understanding admiral law is present in the courtrooms where the US flag has gold fringe around it. Law of the sea. And connected to UK Law. Law is so confusing as it is. Wondering if there is a "Dummies" book for such law as it affects citizens rights in the US. ? ....

It's an obscenity isn't it, but no-one in Britain should be complacent about it, I guarantee you this is on the agenda for the UK, whichever sham party is in power.

Interestingly enough, China has announced it is to abolish the LaoJiao system ("re-education" through labour).

If this man is truly a ‘mountain man’ then he would have been no where near a place that a game warden would have been around.

Also, a mountain man would more than likely be trapping fish or using a trot line. Mountain folks don’t have time to sit around with a fishing pole . . . if they even have a fishing pole.

I would know because I am a mountain woman and there’s a bunch of other mountain folk around me.

I'm with you here. I'm curious as to what he was exactly fishing with. If he was fishing with a commercial fishing rod that he purchased at a Walmart, then I can see why he would be asked to show his fishing license. If he was fishing with a sapling on the other hand...then that is just plain mean to arrest him.

By Susan Duclos

The Living Man aka Ernie Wayne Tertelgte agreed to an exclusive Before It’s News interview, but in reality it turned out to be a statement by Mr. Tertelgt in which he attempts to impart over three decades of his research into a nearly 30 minute interview.
