New research suggests that archaeologists who study Stonehenge have been searching for clues in the wrong place for 90 years.
Archaeologists have been searching for clues on the rock outcrop of Carn Menyn in Wales since 1923. Well, now, Dr. Richard Bevins of the National Museum Of Wales, x-rayed the famous blue stones at Stonehenge, and says the rocks aren’t from Carn Menyn, but from a different hill a mile away.

Is this related to the news of a Monte Python reunion? Poor workers. 90 years?! Sounds like a comedy sketch. "And now for something completely different.........grab your shovels and follow me".

Brilliant.. 90 years.. How many generations of accedemicans is that I wonder... One mile down the road, ha ha... So all those explanations of rolling logs and ships down the severn, we're completely wild of the mark, the actual spot where they got their stone was only a mile away!!!

Talking of Monty python, this reminds me of the sketch when archeologists discover a big toe, they scratch their heads as to it's former purpose, after some reaserch they present the finished hypothesis, an elephant, but instead of a trunk, the big toe!! very funny.. N

I am pretty sure that the stones were moved using the power of minds rather than methods obeying known physics.

Waste of spades basically!
