Seems counter intuitive to me that they would put themselves under the watchfull eyes of Ofcom and not make themselves more universally accessible, given the nature of the web and the message..

For those wondering about TV licensing issues, I wanted to say that I am 100% certain that it will not apply for watching TPV :)

I looked into it and found out that their streaming provider is based in the U.S (http://rbmtv.com/), and second that it appears it is not being broadcast on terrestrial or satellite TV (unless I have missed something, it does not say on the website).

So in essence; The same rules apply for streaming TPV as for example youtube or livestream :)

Most Brits have already got a TV and a license for it so it's a non issue for most. I don't have a TV and so I don't have a TV license either ( £150 per year ish )

Any "LIVE" tv is classified as TV in the UK. The internet connection itself is not the issue ( yet ! ) it only applies to live TV. If you check through your browsers cookies you will almost certainly find at least one from the BBC. Even if you've never ever visited their web site !.... How the hell did that get there ? They seem to be monitoring when we log onto a media channel. I suppose that can only happen with the cooperation of the media companies, so it's probably hidden deep in the terms of the licenses required to broadcast in the UK.

I don't think using a proxy will work with video and audio streams because I think that however complex the route you take to get to the site with the stream, the stream itself is connected directly from there on. - I'm not absolutely sure about that though.

awesome it's about time... this could be huge... I think Ike may have really crystallized something here... bloody good for him, and it's beautiful that he raised his son the way he did... that is a great insurance for the future... this has all the potential...

and re license issue ... not seeing it... just cause you called it "tv"... it's just a word... a marketing angle... its the INTERNET! LOL!

TVP needs all the support it can get. Donate just £1.00 if you can. David Icke.com get 3 million visitors a month. If only 10% donate £1.00 a month, thats £300,000 a month. Imagine what they could do with that!

Wow, that is absurd.. Unless they are aming towards getting on cable and such, if so it "makes sense".

Personally I think it would do them good to tell people a little bit more about where the money donated is going, that might help raise the support if people "see" what they are in essence investing in. I say this because I think it would make people more excited. More specific goals, etc..
However I think they did fairly well for a first broadcast, and I know live broadcasts are not exactly easy to do, especially audio! That is something we over at Camelot knows all to well.. lol

I am surprised. No one wants to mention the hyped up 'commercial' that has Icke with his hands up in a jesus like pose, claiming he cannot be silenced because he fills arenas.... It seems too egoic, like the old stuff Icke used to do. I am still happy there is truth being aired, but with all the old talk of Icke really being a 'double agent' or a tool of the cabal, and then that ad.... I hope he drops it for a low key one... or maybe he knows how to tap into the already existing trigger words laid down by the cabal in the collective consciousness... maybe it is the way to get the sheeple to listen... but it looks like hero worship religious stuff... what is with the monarch butterfly in the corner? That is a trigger/ associated with mk ultra, project monarch....

I agree, it did concern me. But, there is no doubt in my heart that David Icke is authentic, and sincere. I see this "over-the -top" ad as slightly poor judgement.

I pledged my $1.67 USD per month so I can complain (by golly). I realize I am completely spoiled by the ability just to go find what i want to view. Every time I tune in it is to a program where I have little clue as to whom and what is being discussed. It is a great idea but like I said, the computer has made me totally selfish about what I look at or listen in on.

Wonder if others have had the same issue? I have had no TV or radio for 10 years. I listen to no online stations.
I hope they do well though...it is a great idea to support.
