I just realized I finally have a place to put this where people may respond and work it out. I somehow stumbled over the information that there is a piece of sky being blacked out on google sky. 5h 53m 27s -6 10' 58" when I put it in, I have to back out a bit to see it. There is a reason it is blocked? Here is the help page about it. http://code.google.com/p/earth-issues/issues/detail?id=416 I believe someone may have used another service and said there was nothing weird there, but who better to investigate this? What do you think? Oh and you have to have the right things checked to see it, if it isn't there for you, let me know and i will check the settings, I am not a google earth expert though

Tell you what. I will aim my scope at this spot and tell you what I see. May have to wait for the week-end or a clear night. Any other star gazers out there want to join me?

Skip Google sky. I'd rather do this. I hope you are joking. Don't know you well enough.

Ok so I went out tonight...the sky cleared up...bottom line? Look up and south. Winter sky with Orion, Jupiter, Taurus, all right there in front of you is FREAKIN amazing. I hate winter...and then I see the sky again and go OH YEAH!

So I saw this black box in those co-ordinates. It was being driven by Stanley Kubrick. There looked like a monkey on it as well...ok no seriously, everything is there.

My take? Someone at google is just freakin lazy n' hasn't filled in the gaps.

Seriously. You hold up human laziness to any conspiracy theory, and 99% of the time it's laziness. But that 1%....I'm tellin ya...Kuberick is behind it!

I don't know if a comment is appropriate. But can I play?
