I am hoping for help from you, my fellow avalonians,
I have what has been diagnosed (after over 2yrs of tests) as having Adult Metabolic Disease. Where the mitochondria are not passing energy to the cells.
Before the onset I was quite active..running, swimming, mountain climbing, kayaking etc etc.
Over the past 15yrs I have been losing energy to where I can barely put one foot in front of the other. Now officially classified as disabled.
I have another affliction Trigeminal Neuralgia, a pain on one side of my face. The medication I am taking for this doesn't help my AMD.
Diabetic
High blood pressure
Also, do not have MS but have several of the symptoms.
Forced into retirement so stress level has dropped by 90%
Have tried several prescribed medications as well as naturopathic remedies, and acupuncture. Does anyone out there have this problem?

hi pixiestix,

many of your symptoms are consistent with 'syndrome x'. I have many of the same symptoms you do, including metabolic syndrome/mitochondrial disease.

anyway, labels aside...

1)coq10
2)l carnitine
3)magnesium
4)d-ribose

these are known as the 'fearsome foursome', and will almost immediately begin supplying your mitos with the raw materials they need to operate at peak efficiency.

there are many, many supplements you can take, of course - but I strongly suggest starting with these. are you familiar with the work of dr jacob teitelbaum? it would be prudent to read his book 'from fatigued to fantastic'. it is the definitive guide to dealing with these types of issues. he also has something of an all-in-one supplement powder that will take a lot of the guesswork out of it for you.

best of luck! lots of love to you!

Thanks for that Chinaski. I take magnesium regularly and will get back on the others. I will also check out the good dr. right away....

Hi Pixistix, Have you had a legit Lyme test, either through Igenex or Bowen labs? Also recommend seeing a naturalpathic dr if you can afford it. It really could be anything, but I would almost bet money on Lyme, as it is a HUGE epidemic.

I have lyme and my main problem is fatigue.
Large doses of Vit. C
co q 10
lugols iodine
isocort (for adrenals, there are other natural supplements to support the adrenals besides that one)
lots of clean water
also, hypercoagulation is a big culprit in the fatigue arena, you may think about being tested for that. there are ways to thin blood other than the expensive pharma drugs.
a short brisk walk
B 12 injections or sublingual and also a multi b
D3, especially if you do not get in the sun regularly
Juicing

I am really sorry to hear of your ailment though, and I understand how depressing it is when you are forced to not live your life.

Our body is no different than a factory producing all the good stuffs it needs. And it is on autopilot the only time it will ceased to produce is when it run out of raw materials (nutrition) therefore all ailments is a result of lack of nutrients and at times poisoning. But then again given enough raw materials our body is able to get rid of the toxins. Providing artificial supplements is only first aid, extreme situations. The set back in providing chemical supplements is that our body will get lazy i.e insulin for diabetic. Ex. muscles and brains are stronger and better when in constant use. Say you take pathogen killers, MMS maintenace dose, this kills the pathogens in our body thus there is no need for our body to produce pathogen killers meaning it becomes idle over time. Taking food supplements should do the trick but you need variety. Say five elements are needed to produce a certain substance. Each element could run out at anytime so you have to listen to your body carefully.

my experience.

ganoderma or reishe

helps me with nerve failure
A friend had sinusitis. I gave him some reishe. Cleared after taking reishe

His wife has difficulty moving bowel. She discharge with ease for three consecutive days but according to them on the fourth day the symptoms is back. meaning the reishe lost it's effectiveness, but not really I surmise that another element has run out.

Another friend had no child after eleven years in marriage. Wife has a defective reproductive system. Gave him reishi. Five days later he is back for more according to him his wife discharge what appears to be black blood clot. Four months later the wife conceive. The child is now more than a year old.

Quitch grass a relatively unknown but very effective blood cleaner and nerve tonic.

Another very important

Sunlight and exercise. The five Tibetan rites has been very helpful to me although I do not do it as per instruction. You are unique so again listen to your body and make adjustments additions and subtractions.

By all means take artificial supplements if you think you need it for continued existence but remember that it is only first aid.
Your body needs whole foods (non processed not poisoned) for good functioning.

I do not know exactly what is the cause of your ailments but if parasites has set in as a result of weakened immune system you may need parasite killers. I suggest you read the "Turpentine" thread of sigma or take MMS maybe but not on a regular basis.

Good luck. You are included in my wish list.

By the way. When I caught cold recently and my body was about to succumb to flu I took sugar boost with some lemon just to ease the sweetness. The cold was gone in three days. If you have access to sugar cane, juice it and drink the juice. My body tells me that it can trans-mutate to other substances thus it supplements for many nutrients. Of course you would not find many articles that praise sugar, but hey we live in a world of deception. So again listen to your body, this is probably the most important advice I can give. I remember one article that praised sugar as a superfood. I believe it. I remember also a post from ROMANWKT praising sugar but I can't find it. so maybe he can help.

My sugar is not the ordinary sugar it is made by evaporating water from sugar cane juice living a thick syrupy juice. DON'T USE THE COMMON SUGAR.

coq10 helped my energy levels massively. Its best to start slow.

Cayenne is also pretty good if you read Dr Schulze.

I'd have a very careful look at everything you eat, including Sodium Laurel Sulphates in toothpaste, and aspartame in gum.

Sunlight and exercise is key, as Bubu said.

Take and appreciate the time to concentrate on your inner work. You've used activity to distract yourself and avoid it.
That's not wrong, but you've appointed for yourself a time to care for yourself as much as you've cared for everything else.
Thank yourself for being in a position to have no choice. Fall in love with yourself. You deserve it.
'Not doing' you may feel is the hardest work you've ever done. Resisting it is what you'll find painful.

All of the above, and raw ginger. Plain old go into superstore and get a big old nob of ginger ginger.

Something that I find soothing...haven't done it in a while...is grate some fresh ginger (depending on how strong you want the sensation, I usually start with a table spoon or two) into a very hot bath....put yourself into said bath, with a nice cuppa, and enjoy.

With many elements at play in the field of energy management it is all to easy to neglect the breath-

It always surprises me how different an energy being is with increasing volume capacity/exchange and posture.

I have several health issues. Surprisingly many were greatly reduced. Or totally gone after I eliminated wheat and yeast from my diet. So, it will cost you nothing. Give it a try. Also, I am diabetic. I only need one half a slice of bread to skew my blood sugar all day. Please try this.

Pixiestix,

If you like, you could write a food diary of what you've eaten this week, so anyone interested could see what type of foods you eat. If its accurate we could all learn a lot.
