View Full Version : Request for pure intent, love, and healing
donk

Hey everybody…just wanted to clear up the two reasons I don’t post as much as I used to, and make a request.
The first reason I haven’t been posting is that I have become quite concerned about the manipulation of energy, especially that of people’s (my) intent. It occurs to me that unless you really know what you are doing, unless you are laser-focused and purest of heart and mind you can possibly be, there’s the possibility that someone more adept may be able to use whatever energies that are put out recklessly or not-so-mindfully (or even focused & pure, who knows what exceptional abilities others may have?). I guess I’ve gotten a little too deep into the mind control information I’ve been coming across, and feel that places like this are ripe for those that may be able steer energy or intent to their own purposes (whatever they may be).
That said, I have no real fear, I just was unwilling to inadvertently contribute my energy in directions where I am not able to consciously and practically able to see the end result. I am more cautious in what I open myself up to, or invite in to my life. In short, I am doing my best to be mindful, to not assume I truly know anyone’s intent, to not even assume that “my” intent isn’t somehow being manipulated—while not slipping into fear or paranoia. My instincts (or higher self or guardians or whatever) and synchronicities have been telling me to down-shift a gear or two and really focus on being truly mindful—open to all realities, ensuring that I not effect others’ realities in a way I did not intend.
So that brings me to my second reason for not posting much, which is that I am coming to terms with my recent diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. I’ve been in more-less a sort of denial about it, avoiding the research that I’d normally delve into with any other subject. The symptom or attack or whatever was gone or corrected or whatever by the time I left the hospital. So I am not physically suffering at the moment, I’m just a little strained and stressed—and more than anything looking for clarity, a really good and positive path to take…perhaps different from or in addition to what the institutionalized medical industry will be offering in my visit to the specialist next week.
So my request is that any love, prayers, or healing you would like to send my way --mindfully with pure intent, I know I shouldn’t have to say this but I guess I’m a little superstitious and am trying to be careful not to invite anything additional or unintentional or negatively unexpected into my life--would be greatly appreciated.
Much love,
Phil

HI donk, I was just thinking about you today, sorry to hear your news. You've given us two dots: if you join them, there may be a connection between your manipulation issue and your health problem. Dealing with the one ought to help with the other; in fact this already seems to be the case:
The symptom or attack or whatever was gone or corrected or whatever by the time I left the hospital.
But there are places on Avalon where manipulation is not an issue, and where there is no energy leakage, on the contrary. I was thinking about you while backtracking up the Here & Now thread and wondering why donk was no longer posting. Maybe you have shifted down a gear too many?

I am truly sorry for you Donk.Donk, Phil, please give Flash's suggestion serious consideration. And remember, do not succumb to the Medical Mafia programming. There are no diseases. There are only cases of malnutrition, ingesting toxins, emotional/spritual discord (this would include stress). Do not allow yourself to be subject to convention's brainwashing about health and disease. "Diseases" are only a gathering of symptoms to be used for insurance billing purposes. Your case is likely toxins. Dental procedures, heavy metals, or Lyme. Many who are treated for Lyme see their MS symptoms abate. God bless and the best of luck to you. You must heal yourself, your physican only cares about managing your ailment until you are not longer able to pay him. Alternative approaches are your very best bet, as they are more aligned with nature's blueprint and God's design.
Blessings, Conk

hey Phil:)
if you are only showing mild symptoms now, you have a really good chance of getting on top of this thing. I know 3 people with MS: a friend, a cousin, and an uncle. the friend and the cousin were diagnosed relatively early in their lives, and before they showed any severe symptoms. they began treating themselves immediately. and here we are, 15 or so years later, and they show no noticeable symptoms. my uncle procrastinated, and he's suffering a little.
I know everyone is different, but it's quite possible to live a healthy life free and clear of MS symptoms. I've witnessed this myself!:)
best of luck to you Phil! i'm rooting for you brother! please keep us updated.

Dear Phil,
Even before you read this, Rays of Love filter through the DNA. Three part post: ‘food for thought’, medical resource data base, and a holistic approach.
Food for Thought:
See if a small part of this touches a cord. It’s from “Heal Your Body,” by Louise L. Hay.
When I’ve had symptoms and read it with an open mind, this book has revealed blind spots. I’ve also used it as a diagnostic tool with others.
Problem - multiple sclerosis
Probable Cause - Mental hardness, hard-heartedness, iron will, inflexibility. Fear.
New Thought Pattern - By choosing loving, joyous thoughts, I create a loving, joyous world. I am safe and free.
In reference to that last statement, beyond the new agey expression, really isn’t it what it’s all about? Love, Joy, Freedom, etc.
Medical Resource Data Base:
The National Center for Biotechnology Information (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) advances science and health by providing access to biomedical and genomic information. (NCBI)
Holistic Approach:

Gary Paruszkiewicz is the author of "Therapeutic Tai Chi - My Journey with Multiple Sclerosis," and he is featured in this video by Bill Douglas, author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to T'ai Chi & Qigong."
Bill began teaching Tai Chi & Qigong to people with Multiple Sclerosis through Kansas University Hospital's Turning Point, Center for Hope & Healing Program, which provides free tai chi, qigong, yoga, meditation, and other classes to people dealing with chronic health conditions. Bill was invited to speak at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Mid-America Chapter's Symposium at KU, and contacted Gary about including his amazing MS story in Bill's MS presentation. Bill created this video for the purpose of alerting Kansas City area residents dealing with MS to the free Tai Chi & Qigong classes offered through the Turning Point - Kansas University Hospital program.
Gary's generosity is well known, as he's given away tons of his Tai Chi for MS videos away for free on youtube as a contribution to public health, and Gary was happy to assist Bill's efforts in spreading Tai Chi awareness to others dealing with MS in the Kansas City area.

Donk, sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Do look at the Louise Hay material. There's always something to think about in her advice that may apply.
My daughter was diagnosed with MS in her 20s. Because of her belief system and her father's which she is highly influenced by, she has gone the AMA route and is on medication. Brain scans did show lesions, but over the course of time (10 years) they have not worsened. She has very few active symptoms. She holds a full-time job, keeps a house, loves a husband, 3 cats and a dog, and goes on 50- and 100-mile bicycle rides with her husband and riding club. She skies.
On the other side of the coin, she also does many things that are somewhat alternative that give beneficial support to her entire functioning. No drugs or alcohol, but she never was into that kind of scene. She teaches yoga and meditation, which makes yoga and meditation a disciplined part of her life. She has a great deal of dietary awareness but is not as rigorous about it as I would like her to be. I nag her with information about GMOs and encourage her to avoid all of them. She gave up vegetarianism because of the heavy reliance on soy (which is now all GMO) as a protein source. She now eats locally grown organic meats and as much locally grown organic food as she can find.
If you by any chance eat or drink anything that contains ASPARTAME, stop immediately. There is a lot of information that aspartame produces symptoms that mimic MS.
Sending kind thoughts for blessing and health your way,
Doodah

Hi Donk,
For you information:
Italian doctor may have found surprisingly simple cure for Multiple Sclerosis
An Italian doctor has been getting dramatic results with a new type of treatment for Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, which affects up to 2.5 million people worldwide. In an initial study, Dr. Paolo Zamboni took 65 patients with relapsing-remitting MS, performed a simple operation to unblock restricted bloodflow out of the brain - and two years after the surgery, 73% of the patients had no symptoms. Dr. Zamboni's thinking could turn the current understanding of MS on its head, and offer many sufferers a complete cure.
Multiple sclerosis, or MS, has long been regarded as a life sentence of debilitating nerve degeneration. More common in females, the disease affects an estimated 2.5 million people around the world, causing physical and mental disabilities that can gradually destroy a patient's quality of life.
It's generally accepted that there's no cure for MS, only treatments that mitigate the symptoms - but a new way of looking at the disease has opened the door to a simple treatment that is causing radical improvements in a small sample of sufferers.
Italian Dr. Paolo Zamboni has put forward the idea that many types of MS are actually caused by a blockage of the pathways that remove excess iron from the brain - and by simply clearing out a couple of major veins to reopen the blood flow, the root cause of the disease can be eliminated.
Dr. Zamboni's revelations came as part of a very personal mission - to cure his wife as she began a downward spiral after diagnosis. Reading everything he could on the subject, Dr. Zamboni found a number of century-old sources citing excess iron as a possible cause of MS. It happened to dovetail with some research he had been doing previously on how a buildup of iron can damage blood vessels in the legs - could it be that a buildup of iron was somehow damaging blood vessels in the brain?
He immediately took to the ultrasound machine to see if the idea had any merit - and made a staggering discovery. More than 90% of people with MS have some sort of malformation or blockage in the veins that drain blood from the brain. Including, as it turned out, his wife.
He formed a hypothesis on how this could lead to MS: iron builds up in the brain, blocking and damaging these crucial blood vessels. As the vessels rupture, they allow both the iron itself, and immune cells from the bloodstream, to cross the blood-brain barrier into the cerebro-spinal fluid. Once the immune cells have direct access to the immune system, they begin to attack the myelin sheathing of the cerebral nerves - Multiple Sclerosis develops.
He named the problem Chronic Cerebro-Spinal Venous Insufficiency, or CCSVI.
Zamboni immediately scheduled his wife for a simple operation to unblock the veins - a catheter was threaded up through blood vessels in the groin area, all the way up to the effected area, and then a small balloon was inflated to clear out the blockage. It's a standard and relatively risk-free operation - and the results were immediate. In the three years since the surgery, Dr. Zamboni's wife has not had an attack.
Widening out his study, Dr. Zamboni then tried the same operation on a group of 65 MS-sufferers, identifying blood drainage blockages in the brain and unblocking them - and more than 73% of the patients are completely free of the symptoms of MS, two years after the operation.
In some cases, a balloon is not enough to fully open the vein channel, which collapses either as soon as the balloon is removed, or sometime later. In these cases, a metal stent can easily be used, which remains in place holding the vein open permanently.
Dr. Zamboni's lucky find is yet to be accepted by the medical community, which is traditionally slow to accept revolutionary ideas. Still, most agree that while further study needs to be undertaken before this is looked upon as a cure for MS, the results thus far have been very positive.
Naturally, support groups for MS sufferers are buzzing with the news that a simple operation could free patients from what they have always been told would be a lifelong affliction, and further studies are being undertaken by researchers around the world hoping to confirm the link between CCSVI and MS, and open the door for the treatment to become available for sufferers worldwide.
It's certainly a very exciting find for MS sufferers, as it represents a possible complete cure, as opposed to an ongoing treatment of symptoms. We wish Dr. Zamboni and the various teams looking further into this issue the best of luck.

Hi Phill,
It was four and a half years ago that the doctors told me I had MS. Only someone who has gone through it can really imagine what it is like to hear those words. At the time it felt like my whole future shrivelled up. Initially there was shock and sadness and anger, but once I had processed those feelings I began to research. I found that the people who had a good quality of life were those who took their health into their own hands and I decided that I would not see myself as a victim, and I would not rely on the medical establishment.
I read a lot of people talking of beating this evil disease...of a big fight. But this did not gel with my take on reality. I chose to see the illness as a teacher who would help me to lead a more healthy balanced aware life.
The first book I got was called 'the MS recovery diet' (I think). This book helped me a lot to start to take the first steps towards health.
I have learned so much on this journey. For a few years I lived with few symptoms and began to relax my healthful ways. Then last year I started to lose my ability to walk. Time to shift back into high gear. I now understand that there is a strong connection between MS and infection. I started a thread about this: http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?62332-Addressing-my-Inner-Cabal
I recently saw someone had written a book called something like "How I was Blessed with MS" and I can identify with this perspective. It may sound crazy...and if I was given I simple choice I wouldn't chose to have MS, but I know that the journey it has taken me on has been very rich and profound and I am a better, wiser person from being on this path.
Feel free to PM if you would like to :)
LOVE

What a great day! I found out my parents, who were my biggest worry, are all anti-med industry and didn’t dismiss my “alternative” leanings as wacko as I feared!!
In fact, it turns out my dad is REALLY anti-med industry, and now I’m starting to suspect BOTH my parents are way more awake than I gave them credit for (or they let on).
So that’s a burden lifted, I was concerned about having to appease all those close to me by jumping on board with the EXPERT…though they are of my mind and are glad I am not willing to just go the traditional route!!
I am so grateful for the outpouring of love and insights...hope everyone's having as good a day as I am and thanks again!!

Multiple Sclerosis: The Cause and the Solution Uncovered–at Last!
Thanks to Paul  to :cow:
An excellent book on the topic of aspartame: While Science Sleeps, by Woodrow C. Monte (http://www.whilesciencesleeps.com/).
Aspartame is one of the several means of delivering methanol to the brain and other vital tissues. Methanol is converted to formaldehyde, which is a leading cause of the Diseases of Civilization (DOC), such as cancer, cardiovascular and multiple sclerosis.
Avoid the stuff like the plague.
Listen to: While Science Sleeps Chapter 9 Audio Excerpt (http://www.whilesciencesleeps.com/multiple-sclerosis-the-solution/)
An exhaustive analysis of the medical and scientific literature, authored by a uniquely qualified food scientist, persuasively reveals the cause of MS and describes a path to recovery and prevention. The symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis are identical to those of an uncommon form of poisoning—methanol poisoning.
Individuals who have been exposed to this poison over a long period of time, in fact, develop MS. This poison—methanol–is a major component of cigarette smoke, which, until now, has been the only known cause of Multiple Sclerosis.
Dr. Monte’s compelling work reveals that this poison is also contained in certain foods that are canned and smoked or have had the insidious sweetener, aspartame, added to them.
Unfortunately, the truth has been obscured due to the fact that methanol is a poison only to humans and not to (laboratory) animals.
If you have MS, or love someone who does, you and your physician should read what Dr. Monte has to say about methanol and its link to MS. Chapter 9 examines the cause of MS and posits the
simple dietary changes that can save your life.
The dietary changes that you must follow because your life may depend on it are here (http://www.whilesciencesleeps.com/monte-diet/.): (also below)
Everything you need to know about MS is in Chapter 9. If you are interested in knowing more about methanol poisoning and its link to other diseases of civilization, you will want to read the entire book, While Science Sleeps, by Woodrow C. Monte PHD, Emeritus Professor of Nutrition and Food Science, Arizona State University.
Monte Diet (http://www.whilesciencesleeps.com/monte-diet/)
Methanol: Where Is It Found? How Can It Be Avoided?
AVOID the following, ranked in order of greatest danger:
1. Cigarettes.
2. Diet foods and drinks with aspartame.
3. Fruit and vegetable products and their juices in bottles, cans, or pouches.
4. Jellies, jams, and marmalades not made fresh and kept refrigerated.
5. Black currant and tomato juice products, fresh or processed.
6. Tomato sauces, unless first simmered at least 3 hours with an open lid.
7. Smoked food of any kind, particularly fish and meat.
8. Sugar-free chewing gum.
9. Slivovitz: You can consume one alcoholic drink a day on this diet—no more!
10. Overly ripe or near rotting fruits or vegetables.
Cigarette and cigar smoke: Cigarette smoke, a major source of methanol, has been conclusively identified as a direct cause of multiple sclerosis.
Methanol in the food supply: Absent in all but a handful of foods, methanol does not appear in the primitive diet of the Pleistocene and is almost unheard of in the diet of present-day foragers. Its presence is insignificant in most major human food staples such as milk, cheese, fish, meat, eggs, fresh vegetables, beans, and any of the many grains or grain products. The few foods listed below contain methanol and should be avoided.
Canned, bottled, jarred, and aseptically packaged fruits, vegetables, and their juices: Canning fruits and vegetables increases methanol by staggering amounts. While there is probably nothing better than consuming a glass of fresh squeezed juice, canned or bottled versions of juice destroy its original nutritional benefits. This warning about any canned fruit or vegetable holds true for home-canned products as well as those commercially produced. Fresh fruit juice is juice you make yourself or watch someone else make. With its live native yeast and bacteria, and little or no methanol, it is the only healthy option. Juice that is bottled or aseptically packaged in a box or pouch, typically with a straw, is a bad choice. Any container, including jars, can be used for freezing, the best way to preserve fresh fruits, vegetables, or juice until consumed, although refrigeration for a week is permitted. If your only choice is a glass of water or a processed fruit juice in a bottle, box, pouch, or can, water is the far more prudent selection.
Bad news about black currants and tomatoes: In only two fresh fruits is the methanol content high enough to warrant avoidance. Black currant juice is dangerously high in methanol, and abstaining would probably not present any great hardship. The tomato is also naturally high in methanol. The next section explains some European culinary means of removing methanol from tomatoes, thus restoring tomato sauce as a safe choice on your menu. There is no reason not to indulge in the occasional slice of uncooked tomato in a salad or on a cheeseburger, since it takes two full-size tomatoes to produce the methanol in a can of diet soda. Let moderation be your guide.
The Italian and French exception: Long, slow cooking with the lid ajar: “What about canned tomatoes? How can I live without pasta sauce?” you ask with dismay. Before the introduction of diet soda twenty-five years ago, Italy had an extremely low incidence of MS, even though Italians consume per capita more canned tomatoes than any other world population. The explanation for this is enlightening. Even though canned tomatoes have enough methanol to raise serious concern, you can make them safe by doing exactly what the Italians have been doing ever since Columbus introduced them to tomatoes from the New World—simmer the hell—or, in this case, the hellish methanol—out of the sauce. Italian moms typically empty cans of crushed and diced tomatoes in the saucepan early in the morning, simmering the sauce for at least three hours as it develops flavor and thickness. Hours of simmering with the cover slightly ajar leaves methanol, an alcohol whose boiling point is much lower than water, undetectable in tomato sauce.
Aspartame—a very big no! Every molecule of the artificial sweetener NutraSweet, a.k.a. Equal, or Canderel, 951, or aspartame, turns into a molecule of methanol. Aspartame is 11% methanol by weight and has been the civilized world’s most significant source of dietary methanol since the late 1980s. Consume no diet soda or any other diet food. Smoked foods: Fish and meats are traditionally smoked by long, slow exposure to the condensation products of heated wood or wood chips in the exact manner one would manufacture methanol, also called wood alcohol. A fire purposely set to produce smoke simultaneously liberates large amounts of methanol. The way food is conventionally smoked in countries like Scotland and Ireland produces excellent flavor but extremely high methanol, particularly if peat is used to generate the cooking heat, since peat smoke contains up to three times more methanol than wood smoke. It is, therefore, no coincidence that in countries where you find the highest incidence of multiple sclerosis, you also find these traditional methods of food processing that can result in large methanol dosing. Scotland, where traditionally smoked food is often consumed at every meal, has the highest incidence of MS anywhere in the world. The Faroe Islands were settled by the same basic stock of people, but because there is little wood and no peat in this location, air drying is used to preserve fish and meat. This may help explain why multiple sclerosis was never recorded there until the English navy introduced cigarettes and canned fruits and vegetables during the Second World War.
Liquor: Slivovitz or schnapps made from rotting fruit: Frugal European farmers often retrieve the fruit that falls to the ground, storing it in vats until the end of the season when it is processed into a strong distilled alcoholic liquor that goes by many names. The problem here is that spoiled fruit is often contaminated by bacteria that release methanol from pectin.

I thought of you when I watched this video. Around the 22 minute mark, multiple sclerosis is listed as one of the dis-eases from a leaky gut; which is brought on by environmental, emotional, and/or chemical stress(es). Dr. John Bergman gives specific examples. A few other dis-eases listed are: asthma, diabetes, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and Autism.
He explains the larger picture beginning with the adrenal and thyroid glands. For the solutions to healthy adrenals and thyroid, jump to 26 minutes, 45 seconds.
Ray Peat is mentioned @ 31 minutes. He’s studied the thyroid for over 50 years. This is his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4KL3OsjWrlOt04mI9DN52A) & raypeat.com (http://raypeat.com/about.shtml)

Ugh...been hearing "thyroid" too much! The girls all have issues, hereditary I guess. THanks so much for the recomendations, I been trying to keep up but life throws everything at you at once sometimes.
I hesitate to mention it here, as I don't want the attention or reminders, but my big baby Summit passed last week suddenly and unexpectedly, found under kitchen table by the oldest while I was at work, stomach hard and bloated (he was skinny), must have had a blockage or something.
It is so devestating, but the universe been helping out...we were in (slow) transition of moving, joyfully (but leisurely pace) to our own new home, on the other side of the block I grew up on (where my parents still live). Well, hearing his toe nails and whimpers and seeing him out of the corner of my eye was too much, we're in, weeks early...it's just crazy all the crap we accumulated that's left, and the old spot doesn't haven't the crushing depressing power it did last week.
So hopefully I can get my attention back on my own health soon...before I move myself to death , god I feel old, like I'm starting my third lifetime in the last two decades...full circle though: so nice to be home.
I appreciate your thoughts Paula, thanks so much, love always, Phil

PS- the best (& so far nearly only active) thing I'd been successful with so far was my diet change.
Just wanted to note how easy it is to slip into old habits. Our civilization is designed to make it easier to eat poison (and god is it tasty and instantly gratifying!) that passes for "food" these days. This is just a little reminder to myself and y'all not to make excuses...it's not as easy but it's definitely worth it, get the crap outa your body!! Try to resist the sugary salty chemy processed (but oh so delicious!....and cheap!) garbage
