After making her wait 8 hours, the Clark County Commission in Las Vegas decided to hear Daphne Lee speak against the NDAA. What followed was one of the most powerful public comments in history.

If you going to reply to a thread , dang it , this is the one... glad to see somebody else is as mad as I am over the NDAA law they passed on new years eve hidden in a bill that the president can hold americans without a trial or without evidence indefinitely ... Why do we need cameras on every street corner ??? why do they need to record and listen to every phone call , email, text message ??? WE are not terrorist ... we are not on a battlefield , this is home ... all the senators that voted for this SHOULD BE FIRED ... it is an insult to intergrity , a slap in the face to freedom , and it is very telling on how the government views it's citizens , they forget WE pay the bills , it's our money not theirs ... they can be voted out ... TERM LIMITS , PAY CUTS , DOWNSIZE , just like the corporations do us , we do to them ...If we don't speak out , they will take free speech , and the right to have a state militia , and bare arms ... then it's off to the fema camps and who can stop them ??? President Bush , vp Cheney , rumsfield , are traitors to the constitution ... as for drones in the skies of a FREE COUNTRY , WTH ??? AMERICA is in trouble , freedom is being attacked by OUR OWN GOVERNMENT , the TSA treats everyone like a threat , just to fly on a plane ??? over 70 years of flying and we never needed the TSA ...We don't need the pentegon , it didn't stop 911 , even with all it's surveilance , all it's radar , it did nothing to stop it ... close the pentegon... power back to the states ... a little message to the companies that do the NSA's job , they could turn those drones on you and your family , they could make your family and friends terrorist , the machine can backfire on you as well , you think you are safe because you work for them ??? ha ha ha they killed a president in broad daylight in front of texans ...you think your title and salary makes you special ??? enough

Over and over again our Congressional representatives have proven they no longer represent us and the Constitution. They certainly are not going to indict themselves for impeachment and treasonous actions. In 2014 do not vote them back in, do not vote in any Democrats or Republicans. Only vote in independent candidates, please.

What amazes me are the people who do not recognize that we no longer live in a constitutional republic. We live in a police state, without any actual rights, much less the "bill" of rights.

yes , she is just a mom , concerned for her children's future ... this is what we need , normal citizens making their voices heard , so glad she picked up the torch and ran with it ... we need more mom's like her ... she would make a great mayor ...
