I have a massage therapist friend who I have exchanged treatments with in recent years.
I gave her and trained her in giving chakra tunings using tuning forks, and she gave me some sessions with her earlier model of the technology which sounds similar to what you describe, Carmody.
It felt wonderful and I would have liked more treatments with it, but she eventually had to return the equipment as it was cumbersome and too expensive to purchase at that time, and not enough of her clients were interested in it or understood what it could do.

It has chakra settings, and I used the 7th crown chakra one.

The portable device, which weighs about six pounds (three kg), is used continuously throughout the day by the patient. Tests indicate that the device can slow and reverse tumor growth by inhibiting mitosis, the process by which cancerous cells divide and replicate. The NovoTTF treatment involves placing pads onto the patient’s skin that creates a low intensity and alternating electric field within the tumor.
Electromagnetic therapy involves the use of electromagnetic energy to diagnose or treat disease. Alternative medicine providers may offer low-voltage electricity, magnetic fields, radio waves, or other types of electromagnetic energy generated by electric current for this purpose. In physics, electromagnetic energy includes electricity, microwaves, radio waves, ionizing radiation, and infrared rays, as well as electrically generated magnetic fields. Light is also a form of electromagnetic energy.
In trials of patients with advanced liver cancer, this type of therapy – given three times a day – resulted in long-term survival for a small number of those monitored, a team has reported in the British Journal of Cancer. Their tumors shrank, while healthy cells in surrounding tissue were unaffected. "This is a truly novel technique," said the team’s leader, Professor Boris Pasche of the University of Alabama, Birmingham. "It is innocuous, can be tolerated for long periods of time, and could be used in combination with other therapies."
In 2009, Pasche and his colleagues published results in the Journal of Experimental and Clinical Cancer Research which showed that low-level electromagnetic fields at precise frequencies – ranging from 0.1Hz to 114kHz – halted cancer cell growth. Different cancers responded to electromagnetic fields of different frequencies. "This is extremely exciting," said Pasche. "We think the technique could also be used to treat breast tumours and possibly other forms of cancer."
Eleanor Barrie of Cancer Research in the UK said, "This research shows how specific low frequencies of electromagnetic radiation can slow the growth of cancer cells in the lab. It’s still unclear why the cancer cells respond in this way, and it’s not yet clear if this approach could help patients, but it’s an interesting example of how researchers are working to find new ways to home in on cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed.
Dr. Pasche and his collaborators administered very low level electromagnetic fields, modulating their amplitude at frequencies that appear to be specific for various cancers. This work was published in the prestigious British Journal of Cancer. Beginning with a clinical trial in 2009 (Barbault et al) that built upon previous work that used similar electromagnetic frequencies as a treatment for insomnia that produced both subjective and objective measures of improvement.
Treating various cancers using tumor-specific frequencies produced the following results in a patient series in which compassionate use of this therapy was administered to 28 patients with advanced cancer who had limited therapeutic options:
One patient with hormone-refractory breast cancer metastatic to the adrenal gland and bones had a complete response lasting 11 months. One patient with hormone-refractory breast cancer metastatic to liver and bones had a partial response lasting 13.5 months. Four patients had stable disease lasting for +34.1 months (thyroid cancer metastatic to lung), 5.1 months (non-small cell lung cancer), 4.1 months (pancreatic cancer metastatic to liver) and 4.0 months (leiomyosarcoma metastatic to liver).
In another study also published in the British Journal of Cancer found that the growth of HCC and breast cancer cells was significantly decreased by specific and breast cancer-specific modulation frequencies. Many scientists, studying these medical effects, believe that this technology has broad implications in oncology. Treating cancer with amplitude-modulated electromagnetic fields offers us a huge paradigm shift away from the most dangerous therapies to vastly safer ones.
All Energy is Electromagnetic in Nature
All atoms, chemicals and cells produce electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Every organ in the body produces its own signature bio-electromagnetic field. Science has proven that our bodies actually project their own magnetic fields and that all 70 trillion cells in the body communicate via electromagnetic frequencies. Nothing happens in the body without an electromagnetic exchange. It has been definitely established by physicists, that when a moving electric charge is accelerated or retarded in any way, a wave of electromagnetic disturbance radiates out through the surrounding space. Some devices commonly used in mainstream medicine include EEGs to measure electrical activity in the brain and EKGs to measure electrical patterns of heartbeats. Electrical energy is used to restart the heart when its rhythm is disrupted (defibrillation). Some electronic and electromagnetic devices are approved for medical use, such as the electroencephalogram (EEG), electrocardiogram (EKG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation units (TENS; see Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). Such devices are used to diagnose heart and certain physical problems. The TENS unit is used to reduce pain by interfering with nerve conduction of pain impulses.
Some types of electromagnetic energy are approved for use in standard cancer treatment. These methods include X-rays and radiation therapy as well as radio frequency ablation and microwave ablation, which help destroy tumors. The standard medical treatments use specialized equipment to generate these types of high-energy electromagnetic fields and focus them precisely on the area being treated. Doctors do not like to tell you how dangerous their chosen favorite radiation frequencies are nor do they tell you that there are other types of radiation like near and far infrared that do a better safer job of helping a patient fight their cancers.
Powerful electromagnetic fields (stronger and of a different type than those produced by radionic devices) are able to change the responses of the body’s cells. Early evidence suggests that these electromagnetic fields may help broken bones, reduce frequency of migraine headaches and reduce other kinds of pain.

By opening cell channels, nutrients are better able to enter the cell, and waste is more easily eliminated from the cell. This helps to rebalance and restore optimum cell function. If you restore enough cells, they will all work more efficiently. Cells of the same type come together to make tissues, and those tissues come together to make organs. So, by restoring or maintaining cellular function, you will, in turn, restore or maintain organ function, allowing the entire body to function better. We all know that the body ages over time. Maintaining the function of every individual cell at an optimal level every day is an important part of slowing aging.
Cellular “injury,” the state of a cell when it is not healthy, leads to disease conditions. Magnetic fields protect against cell injury by improving circulation, repair processes and energy, and increasing special stress proteins in the cells. In 1982 Ngok Cheng published, “The Effect of Electric Currents on ATP Generation, Protein Synthesis and Membrane Transport in Rat Skin” in Clinical Orthopedics.[1] This study showed that microcurrent increased ATP production in rat skin by 500%. ATP is the chemical that the body uses for energy. The current also increased amino acid transport into the cell by 70% and waste product removal. The implications for human healing and repair are obvious. ATP production was increased as long as the current was below 500 microamps. When the authors increased the current to 1000 micro amps, or one milliamp, a current range delivered by TENS devices and other types of electrical stimulation therapies, the ATP production was actually reduced.[2]
Microcurrent Used to Shrink Cancerous Tumors
During the 1950’s, a Swedish radiologist and surgeon, Dr. Björn Nordenström demonstrated that the positive polarity of microcurrent, passed through needles implanted into cancerous tumors, blocked cancer pain and in many cases caused the tumors to regress or disappear. He theorized that this treatment set up a form of electro-osmosis that dehydrated the tumor and blocked production of pain-producing substances such as histamine.

There are many brilliant people who know that healing can only be effected if the precise amount of electromagnetism required is provided—one way or another—to effect a change in the function of particular diseased cells.
What cancer patients need to know is that they need light, they need energy, and they need alkaline tissue to get the maximum amount of oxygen to the cells. According to a scientific article in “Health & Diet Times” (June/July 1982 issue) written by Dr. Lee de Vries, cancer cells self-destruct within minutes after exposure to strong intense light.
Dr. Albert Abrams claimed he could detect the frequencies of diseased tissue and heal the underlying imbalances. The idea that disease can be diagnosed and treated by tuning in to radio-like frequencies is called radionics.
Bioresonance
Bioresonance is an umbrella term which is traditionally used to describe the interaction between the bio-field of a living organism and frequency patterns that interact with specific parts of it. There are many different types of bio-resonance modalities which fall under this umbrella term. It is the ability for an external frequency/pattern to resonate with a specific item in the bio-field of the physical body. One of the main problems with Bioresonance devices that other researchers have invented is that they were expensive and aimed mostly at health practitioners to install in their clinics. I'm using my device (MicroMat) daily, and am currently holding off a visit to a dentist.
There is a recurring toothache, but within minutes of using the device it disappears.
The settings I use are bone, nerve, pain, and connective tissue.
I'm then pain free for up to two days,
then a dull ache returns. So I run the four programs, simultaneously, which last about 15 minutes,
and find that my jaw goes back to normal.

Not sure if this is a placebo effect, nor am I 100% convinced that it can reverse tooth decay,

These devices are absolutely everywhere...

I've used many of them, seen practitioners that implement them, and even tried them on many others I know in my personal life.

I see no difference and why these specific devices would be considered a step-beyond current applications, and the article is mostly marketing hype. Even president Putin and Astronauts use them!?!?!

Granted I haven't yet watched the videos, I did read the entire article and explored their website. The main problem in this field is the diagnostic angle, in-which a device produce accurate and reproducible results as to which frequencies to properly apply.

Here They claim - "The Russians conducted extensive studies on over 25,000 people and established an accurate system of analyzing and reinforcing energetic health of the organs, and their connection to specific areas on the skin (dermal-visceral zones)." - In other words, it uses the very same Galvanic - Skin response testing that basically every single other device in regards to diagnosing. So basically, they're saying they don't offer anything new to the field and it's just another frequency device.

Another is the actual effectiveness and long-term solution of the issues being treated. It seems results are generally possible although inconstant , except they work in such a way where as they temporally re-balance the body improving or alleviating symptoms and stressors that are causing dysfunction, they fail in actually solving it. It's a similar(although admittedly much more preferable) of the semi effective band-aid approach in "modern" medicine of today.

A scientist who also practices as a Naturopath, and who has helped me regain my health, claims these galvanic electronic response systems only tap into the data of a small representation of the actual information field(sometimes called the Bio-field) and are unable to garner the entire picture of what's going on in the body, thus being the reason successful treatment is not being obtained. Of course there are other variables and theories such as whether not the frequencies are being penetrated or received properly by the body in the first place.

You want to try these kinds of effects without dropping hundreds or thousands of dollars? Imprint a medium, such as purified water for example, with thousands of different therapeutic frequencies. Seeing as the body is self-diagnosing, when you take the frequencies the body will choose as to which one it will apply and disregard similar in a way to the digestive process. This is actually even a better way of applying frequencies than relying on an outside device that is inaccurate and unable to pin-point what actually needs to be treated.

I should note I feel the future of medicine is absolutely somewhere along these lines... it just isn't there yet. This company gives off a very MLM vibe and I am unable to discern that they are offering anything above the industry standard.

Invisible World of Voltage made Visible

Our bodies feed cellular electrical information back to the devices through the electrodes. The software analyzes this data and responds, resulting in the very next signal being modified. This is possible because of the development of modern high-speed microprocessors, which are able to establish a “cybernetic loop” between electronic instrument and living body.

Our bodies have a measurable voltage. The body is electric. Every organ in our body has its own measurable electromagnetic current, which can be measured. Electrocardiograms for the heart and electroencephalograms for the brain measure this current. Yes, I have had a Tennant Biomodulator for about 6 years now. It is very easy to use and very effective. You "get a feel", while massaging the area with the device. Somehow I missed this great thread before. As a pharmacist I'm using an Indigo Biofeedback device for personal sessions for more than 2 years now and the results are really amazing. I'm not using the device for therapy or cure (which may also be possible) but to show clients their weak spots, symptoms ready to be surfaced, possible health risks and the emotions that are tied to these risks. I also give them a list of what to eat, what not to eat, which supplements or herbs to use, which homeopathic remedy is for them etc.
