View Full Version : I was flying in my dream last night. Pete Peterson too.

I have had dreams of flying only maybe a dozen times. Last night was one of them.
The feeling is so intense it is hard to describe. I love it, every time it happens.
Last night was a little different, and kind of funny. Here is what I remember.
A large group of people in a sports bar type setting. One of those tall industrial, finished, but not finished open spaces. There was a woman demonstrating levitation and describing how prayer allows her to fly around the room. She was giving the lecture while she was vertically floating around the room. She had everyone's full attention. Everyone but me.
I was more interested in who knows what but I was not all that impressed. Of course she had to make an example of me for not watching her float around the room. As she approached me, I got up and stood in the middle of the open space and concentrated. I lifted off, kind of like how iron man did in the movie the first time he flew in his workshop. Not as smoothly as she floated, but I did it.
I was asked by the floating woman, " who taught you what prayer to say?"
I said that I did not fly by prayer. I hold my tongue just right. Then I can fly. People did not understand what I meant. So I continued. Pete Peterson on a Project Camelot interview tells of how you can use your mind to hold a frequency or a tune a certain way in your mind. Then different things can happen. Kind of like when you hold your tongue a certain way when you are concentrating on a task. You just have to get your mind right.
After people started to understand what I was doing, many started to learn how to hold their minds just right to fly.
Then I woke up feeling fantastic. Flying in your dreams is incredible. I can only imagine what it would be like for real.
I am writing this because of the part where Pete Peterson came into my dream. I just think that is really funny.
I loved the Peterson interview.

WHOAH!!! My friend. Many flying dreams, are OBEs that we are remembering via the dreamstates. I am completely floored. Part of what happens with me and my OBEs is that I will have, what I call, dream-state-lessons. Or DSL's. I even wrote a chapter about it in mee book. Most of the dreamstate lessons have to do with 'specific thought patterns' that will give specific outcomes. Flying, for example. It is like holding a pattern in your mind, and flexing it. It will cause the same outcome. It is like a school. A dreamy astral feckin school!!! :) Complete with teachers and other students. the surroundings don't matter. Key elements set them apart from regular, mental-discharge type dreams. I have learned all about telekinesis, flying, energy balls, teleportation,,,, the kinds of things that will become useful when navigating a thought responsive, astral environment. Amazing that you mention the Iron Man scene. There are energy centers in the palms of our hands and the balls of our feet. Many of my dream-state lessons had to do with charging up these energy centers, as to promote a strong energetic flow,,, then flying is natural,,,, but you have to charge those centers. (hand and palm chakras,,, much less known:) ) I was doing this 'iron man' type of flying for yeeeeeaaaaars... When that movie came out,,, I was flabbergasted. "Hey, that's how I do it!!" lol.... (I have spiderman dreams too, similar to flying dreams, and all about being able to use my mind to effect navigation.)
I suspect that you are having OBE activity,, and are having memory breakthroughs. Memory is the most fickle part of an OBE... !!! Ever woke up, remembering a dream only to have it disappear from your mind, even as you were thinking about it??? Of course you have. OBE memory is much more hard to 'reel in'. So we begin to remember them via the dreaming states.
There exists an astral school, of sorts. Most every author that I have been in contact with (author/experiencers of OBEs Buhlman/Bruce/etc...) will tell you the same thing. This is amazing news Johnj!!!!
It is funny that Pete Peterson came into mind. A very lucid experience to be able to apply a trick you learned from a fully waking experience, to a situation that was happening in the non-physical. I love it.
You are one too!!!

Hey buddy.
Flying dreams are my favorites.
As Jake said, probable astral travels (OBEs).
My ever happened to semi-consciousness.
Forget what was in the mind upon waking is the most frustrating Jake.
A recurring thing I remember in almost all my flights of more conscious state,
is my concern with the power cable of the poles in the streets.
Especially when starting the ascent flight. Anyone had similar experience?

You're right, flying is great.
I fly by great desire...and I have to jump a few times too to become lighter. Then I can take off.
If I'm up and I don't focus, I start losing altitude.

I am not sure if this classes as a flying dream but mine was sort of in a sitting position with my hands below my thighs and moving my fingers in a sort of wing fluttering movement,,, if that makes sense. The feelings i used to get while in dream were utter complete happiness but a feeling that i would float anyway and moving my fingers was like a rudder!!!

I do not remember worrying about or even think about the source of propulsion during flight and if occurs on the palms of the hands or feet or something, and there is no concern about targeting the flight. It's more like thinking / immediate response, simply happens.
About the power cables from the streets, I do not know if would be okay for the aura (astral body) to touch them, but I will not discuss with my astral body. If he thinks is best to avoid OK for me.

I personally don't have such a "simple" time taking off. I spend quite some energy on the jumping part. It's like a little child that thinks he can fly like in the cartoons and they're jumping around with much hope but nothing happens. Only in the dream, if you keep on trying, it does work.
Am I the only one who has to make an effort?

Yes, I remember have already been struggling to start the flight. At least on two different occasions. But in most cases I had no trouble.
Precisely at this moment came to my mind as if remembering a dream thinking 'You just knew it was only desired and take off.'
I think it's a good thing for you to remember when you're having trouble starting the flight. Remember you only need to 'feeling desire and go'.
Who knows right?
Hug.

Thanks for the informative reply. It does seem like a bleed through from OBE through the dream state.
The thing about this morning was odd. I was flying as my alarm went off. I hit snooze, I was pissed off that I dropped like a rock to the ground when my alarm went off. I went right back into the room where I was flying. I demonstrated again how to concentrate and lift off. Much more controlled this time. Then controlled my movement up, down, left and right. Then my alarm went off again. This is the strange part , I was feeling that the flying dream was the reality and the alarm was the dream. Does that make sense? I think I hit snooze 4 or 5 times. Each time, I went right back into the flying. The last time I took 2 or 3 steps and dove into the air in front of me and flew like superman around the room. It was way cool.
When I woke up, I did not forget like you normally do from most dreams. This one is still burned into my memory. What did fade was the knowledge I felt I had during the dream, the feeling or the ability to hold my mind the right way so I could fly.

Mine happens when I stand still, tense/flex all muscles then relax. Open my hands and eyes and lift off.
Or the diving takeoff. But I only do this one after I have done the stand and lift off one a few times first. The diving take off is kind of a no return commitment. You either fly or bust your face.

If you lift the tip of your tongue up to your palate a new alert consciousness sort-of kicks in. Ancient Chinese yoga .... I'm going to experiment to see if it flies. Also I have always liked Pete Peterson and stuff he has contributed towards the new paradigm. Cheers - mrmalco

Pete Peterson on a Project Camelot interview tells of how you can use your mind to hold a frequency or a tune a certain way in your mind.
And how, again, would a person get 3-4 thousand people at a concert to remain seated?
(It's a bit more complicated than that..but..it is a component of said 'trick')
I suspect what he is speaking of is to initiate a stilling of the mind. Which in a duality human, may require (depends on the person and where they are with this aspect) a posturing of the physical self which approximates the lucid sleep/awake condition.
This, to aid in the creation of the electrochemical/mind conditions required to enable the person. ie, a precursor in preparation of the body, a component of self hypnosis. This, to be done, until such props are no longer required. One learns to shut down the duality barrier (living in the confines of the body's immediate/present moment state), in the waking state. To drop the ego barrier.
Like learning to wiggle your toe, or ear, or eyebrow. After a while, one can isolate the aspect, and the initiation props, like attempting majik (full of props and conditions, atmosphere, etc)..are no longer required.
From what you call your ego/consciousness state, the one you are in right now, reading these words, it would be the state that has no words, or internal voice that is looping in the given moment (ego response-which is a communicative subset program), but the intellect is active and intact. (but not to be confused with the instinctual animal aspects of the body)

JohnJ: Are you going through trauma or a painful time in your life? I ask as I have these dreams during such painful periods.
Maybe your "higher self" is trying to help you progress to higher levels of consciousness through these lucid dreams.
Edgar Caycee said we life other lives during our dreams (I'm going from memory here)...

Sounds great Mulder.
Could this theory explain the dreams I have where I have the same dream for a week or more every night, changed slightly for what seems a better outcome within the dream. The underground cities and villages that I dream of being a part of. Some are quite strange in the way that I feel I am actually being shown something rather then just living the dream as usual.
The strange red soiled fighting ground where I am part of a group, soldiers or escapees of some sorts, fighting off human looking androids hell bent on catching us, with buildings that resemble wooden frames covered in white or silver canvas sheets so you can see the skeletal shape underneath. Oh, and the 2 moons that were in the misty red sky.
I in the past have tried to decipher the many dreams I have, some are actually precognitive as shortly afterwards I either visit a place or meet a person from within it.
The strangest part is, I always wake from these dreams exhausted like I had lived another day but at night..

Easton is closer than you in Weymouth..but you are essentially living on a potent ley line.
when one lives on a ley line, one can sometimes end up in cases of 'living a second consciousness connected state' where your dreams are a literal different time-space/dimension. This has happened to many a person who lives on ley lines.
There is a section of the Portland Bill Road that runs right in front of the lighthouse down in Southwell. That approx 1000 ft long line of the road is parallel to the ley line and the so-called center point runs down it. But the effect is in the whole area, overall. the more sensitive a person is, the more it affects them. the more close to the ley line, the more it affects a person.

Thanks Carmody.
I actually have a leyline run through the side of my house which I lie across when in bed.
I checked out the leyline finder recently and got this message, but have been told before that one is under our house:
This is amazing!
We found three ley lines that converge at that location, including one from Stonehenge. Hover over the markers for information on each ancient site.
You seem to live at a swirl of ancient energy highways; this may mean that your area is a hotspot for paranormal activity, or even for unidentified flying objects!
There was also a potential dangers warning for my postcode, lol.

No troubles. Physical pain, yes. I broke one of my back teeth and it hurts pretty bad on and off. I have to get it fixed.
But other than that, things are pretty good.
I think Caycee might be right.

Just wondering if you know where to find Ley Line maps for North America?
Before I posted this I checked on line but only got basic looking maps without specific detail. Any suggestions?

goggle earth from Google. download it and install it.
then the kmz google earth vortex ley line map 'overlay' from this site, right here.
http://www.vortexmaps.com/hagens-grid-google.php
I'll grab one of my vortex line or ley line images from all the one's i've posted in the past. They remain in my pile of images that I use here in the forum, and are kept on the forum server.
This one shows the goggle earth image I captured (as a digital photo), and illustrates the lines that run through Florida.
something 'weird' happened in Florida a while back, and i illustrated that i suspected it had to do with a ley line and some dimensional crossing energies, ie anti-gravitic and the like. As in floating rocks and such that are reported in some of the Fortean books. The highlighted area is on the west side of Florida, and that is the place it occurred. Note it ended up being exactly on a ley line.
I could explain what all of this means, and I have (in various posts and threads). most of it is in the lithium thread in the priority thread section.
Here's the thread it was originally posted in.

There is also a partial explanation in that post, of exactly how this stuff works. we get into trying to evolve an exact language for things that have no language, so it tends to get convoluted. You would have to read it slow, take your time, and investigate what is meant by each component.

I went to the link from the other thread. I saw the pictures of the dark stripe going vertical.
I have seen that kind of thing in person. I have a time share on Sanibel Island off of Ft. Myers Florida, during the end of June first of July. I have seen that more than once..
When I have more time tomorrow, I will read the thread.

I've had flying dreams all my life, at least since I was 5 or 6. I'm always a little disappointed to wake from them. Sometimes in my dreams flying is difficult, and I can't get much altitude. Other times it's effortless. But I'm always the only one who can do it. Never gave too much thought to what it means, I just enjoy 'em.
One of my favorite and most memorable dreams didn't involve flying exactly, but it felt significant. I was on a crowded campus, and all the walkways were crammed with students going between classes. I realized I couldn't force my way through the mob, and was going to miss my class. There were trees all around, and I scampered up one like a squirrel, leaping from branch to branch, and entered my second-floor classroom through the window.

That last night, between the 13th and 14th of January, I had a wonderful flight in the dream.
I was semi-conscious, and I was not alone.
I can not tell if it was a disembodied entity or another embodied astral traveler.
It was a female presence, because despite not remember your form, remember very well the feeling that passed me.
We were in a place with many lakes and rounded hills without vegetation.
It was a nice and beautiful place, it seemed the end of the evening.
At some point I said to her: We can fly, just want to come, and I fell in flight. Thought to accelerate the flight and became very fast. I felt a wonderful treat. Many low-flying near water. It looked like a giant mirror from my point of view above the lake.
I thought I needed to force myself to remember these feelings when I woke up.
Interesting that OBE has occurred in these days.
These are days that I have not spent very comfortably. Many doubts about 'beliefs' that invariably we unconsciously accumulating. Even when thought to be immune to them.
Perhaps new energies coming to get us out of the comfort zone we're always looking instinctively. The year 2014 promises to be very interesting.
I hope to learn a lot and always help. But sometimes it requires some instability until it can once again come to an agreement about the meanings of our perceptions of existence.
So I'm in a phase of distrust of my spiritual mentors and their intentions.
Times I did not experienced a flight so vivid and in such a welcoming place.
Usually have to be worrying about high voltage wires.
I think it took me to take this tour to please me....
Hugs.
