Technology companies 3M engaging in biometrics such as ALPR tech ( License Plate Recognition ) are part of a huge roll out between Banking Cartels and Tech Police to further spy and cash in on our day to day lives.

The writing is right there on the site. Revenue Control Tech. Here in Australia we are being inundated with Revenue Cameras and Portable Camera Cars capable of taking up to 6 car a second ! Maquarie Bank just rolled out another 500 Ford SUVs equipped with all the latest equipment. And they are not manned by officers with any training.

In October the National Crime Syndicate called the Australian Government boasted a 14 million in fine revenue for that month, Thats half a million dollars a day our motorists are dishing out for in most cases innocently driving to and from work. That may not sound like much but when you consider there are only 14 million drivers
( approx ) its huge !

Whats is more worrying the bio scanning light ranges they use are highly dangerous for our health and especially our eyes. The 904 nm wave length is super harmful to soft tissue of the eye.

My worry beyond the prying of our day to day lives is this culture of road side piracy and extortion going on truly makes me sick just thinking about it whats even worse is the tactics used have absolutely no reforming effects on the austerity imposed on motorists.

The Biometric System relies on reading the " contrast " between the plate and the digits. This is why they have contrasting colour schemes but further into it the actual paint that the background of the plate is covered in is luminescent. Meaning it provides greater contrast between the two to make the plates much easier to read.

Plate covers can cause problems with these readers especially if they are curved.

Some people have gone to the trouble of coating their plates with even more luminescent clear coat. This flattens the contrast of the plate but it is still highly reflective which can help Lidar and Laser Beam technology ping your plate.

The most effective way to reduce this is to re paint your plate in non reflective paints.

This reduces the contrast factor greatly.

I would encourage people here to list the companies that are engaging in profiteering from us.
I would go so far as to postulate a culture of deliberately boycotting these companies is on the rise. Just recently i was talking with a friend who is quite a successful business man about these problems , like me he is a car and driving enthusiast and abhors the constant bullying he receives when he drives his lovely lambo round town. So when i mentioned to him that 3M makes the machines that spy on him he cancelled a contract he had with 3M to supply materials. He was so furious he researched all the companies that supply his business and found another company in the same business.

Now the contracts were not big , they only accounted for some 1.2 mill pa. But its 1.2 mill they will be missing...

I hope that Avalonians will help in researching and bringing to light the companies that are contributing to the erosion of our civil liberties, profitting from our austerity.

Hello Everyone:
Years ago the ptb installed red light cameras, cameras to watch the people in the vehicles, cameras to watch and record license plates and the list goes on. The companies that make this equipment get a portion of the profit when someone gets caught doing anything since it's a "zero tolerance" game. Meaning if you are one kilometer or mile per hour over the speed limit you instantly become a cash cow with a ticket in the mail in a week or 2.
What I always find amazing is how they got all this equipment to collect "another tax" from all of us. On a busy highway they can make upto $100,000 per hour. The normal is about $20 - $50,000 per hour. No wonder the revenues are so high with a "zero tolerance" law.
When all of this started we were told by the ptb that they had listened to the people and the people wanted this high tech equipment keeping them safe! What's interesting is that over the years their has been many studies that have said speed is not the factor in most accidents. It's driver error! Not one town, city or police force has ever listened to the evidence. They all complain there is not enough hardware to slow everyone down.
If you see the amount of equipment being installed you would think the ptb are afraid of something or someone because it all can't be for speeding! We have town police, city police, highway police, sheriffs, big truck police. All of them has the latest greatest high tech equipment for catching speeders. To anyone of these forces we are simply "terrorist" This is the new term for speeding.
Since I am on the highway alot I see all these police forces breaking the very laws they are suppose to uphold.
I'm kinda waiting to see what the ptb are so afraid of....maybe it's the concept of creating dinosaurs from their dna. Maybe it's the lone hitch hiker that they can't squeeze any money out of. ( haven't figured out how to clock a person going very slow or not moving because the feet hurt from walking so far) And just maybe it's brain washing because things have clearly gone crazy in this beautiful world we all live in.
It's time to say NO since we all are paying the bill for all the high tech toys being implemented against us.

I hope so! If Americans simply stopped buying from the companies that are destroying us, it would make a huge difference.

If people refused to fly, the TSA would evaporate by demand of the airlines.

If people boycotted MalWart, they would capitulate and pay their workers a decent wage.

If only....

You probably already checked out Intellistreets and Cisco/Aruba in Vegas and Seattle!!

It's getting scary :(

Only a few years ago, doctor were literally telling people they were crazy for worrying about surveillance through the light bulbs,
but now look! LOL

There are people who say they have nothing to hide, so these types of spying don't bother them. Remember Will Smith in "Enemy of the State" where he was targeted and set up for things he didn't do? Great movie, btw....

All that gathered information on us and all the spying technologies watching our every move are possibilities for serious misuse and abuse. So, even if you think you have nothing to hide, it won't matter....They'll get you anyway if they want to.... Spooky!

I was talking to a friend regarding his security company recently and he too was a little upset at the mis use of ALPR technology. He has a unique stance in that he is very into security and working with integrity for all his clients ( and he has many ) and in his roll he talks to a lot of people in the industry and what he told me is the ALPR systems are fast becoming useless against organised crime and is more now to raise revenue.

He went on to describe the counter measures criminals have gone to to completely avoid ALPR technology and its being enlisted world wide according to him.

He used to use Motorolla exclusively for his company. He is now considering another brand as he knows they are prifttering from ALPR tech and Spy tech on innocent civilians.
