This is a question that effects many of us. A purpose to our existence. Yet I say to you there is, and its not a simple answer. Each of us is here to learn, yet each of us has a purpose to play. Recognizing this purpose in it self is a feat in it self. I know my purpose do you know yours?

More and more I feel my purpose is to push the limits of the thinking of humanity , to learn to use possibility and probablity as variables in the equation ... most say think outside the box , I like to say think outside the circle ... simply to try and create of viewpoint that no one has considered , so every angle is explored , no stone left uncovered ... We are products of our thinking ...

I believe that all these opinions are valid. As long a they allow room for the fact that forced uniformity is not a good option.
That everyone has plenty of room to experiment and follow their bliss, or mission, or whatever they feel inclined to search for.

When it dawned on me that my existence is eternal, I was very frightened. Why could I not remember anything about it.

In my present life, I can only say that I screwed up :), I got too close to the birth tunnel and was sucked into it. I was yelling 'NO' the whole way down (down, because I had the impression I was falling).

Try to ask 'what is it' instead of 'why', then you go from analysis mode to investigation mode.

Alan Watts was correct on the simplicity of the meaning of life, I don't think he was correct on the "necessity to achieve something" as being somehow false or an illusion...

Watts did great damage to many people's spiritual development IMO by leaving them to fall back on their heels with the usual Zen Buddhist nonsense, there are aspects to our existence which necessitate a great many things, yet he denies this...if some things are necessary, then there are things one needs to be doing, etc.

Why are we here?

Generally it takes far too long, to get the answers to that question...:faint:

However, if your persistent and continually ask that 'Same Question' the answers (DO) eventually come...:yes4:

Just by (Listening) to your (Inner-Self)

Why are we here?

In a (Nutshell) every single person born on the planet have their own unique 'Gifts' and its up to the individual to identify what they are..?

So relatively speaking you need to go deep within and over a period of time, draw out those qualities and be the (Best) you can possibly be with the 'Gifts' given to you by the Creator..!

You'll know when you are on track, because you can actually feel it and have a great sense of (Knowing, Fulfillment & Relief) when your on the right path...:)

In my opinion, to design our destiny on a soul level is only part of our life-play on Mother Earth. We’re here also to recall that free-will is the choice to explore other ways from an archetype template.

We are here: to blend options with Options; to conjoin creativity and Creativity; to harmonize mind with Mind.

We are here to engage life impeccably. As we do, we lighten in countless ways.

I suspect that if you find the the answer to the question "Who am I? (Self enquiry) all else falls into place.
You will have found out why you are here.
It goes far beyond personal hopes, desires, ambition, improving self image, acquisition.
There is a place for that too but it is not the ultimate reason for being here.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God.
Find out what you truly are.
The Self is perfect and eternal.
