Pay by weight airline a 'huge' success

Nearly a year since Samoa Air started charging passengers by weight, the airline says the experiment has been a huge success.

Samoa Air made headlines when it became the first airline in the world to charge people in such a way.

If it can work in Samoa it should work just about anywhere.

American will be at disadvantage. lol This is the best way to get rid of them.

In fact, if Canadian or American Airlines would do that, they would be sued for discrimination. The extra fat, the cripple with wheelchair, the dog for blind, name it.

Also, only petite women are really advantaged.

So a tiny airline by world standards, in a country with one of the highest obesity rates in the world says: "charging by weight successful" is truly the dumbest thing I've heard. Just like South Africa airlines no longer employing white people, what a cutting-edge policy!
