The 19 hijackers who carried out the 9/11 attacks had the support of a foreign country despite initial reports claiming the al Qaeda group acted alone, a pair of US lawmakers have claimed.
Reps Walter Jones and Stephen Lynch said they were "absolutely shocked" by the discovery after they read a part of an investigative Congress report never released to public, the New York Post (http://nypost.com/2013/12/15/inside-the-saudi-911-coverup/) reported.
They said former US president George W. Bush censored 28 full pages approximately 7200 words of the 800-page report detailing "specific sources of foreign support".
Unable to reveal the nation identified without violating federal law, the pair have now appealed to President Barack Obama to declassify the 2002 report.
Leaked information based on both CIA and FBI documents pointed to Saudi Arabia as a presumed ally; reports Saudi vehemently denied.
The revelation follows reports the hijackers 15 of which were Saudi nationals were aided both financially and logistically by Saudi government officials inside the US prior to 9/11.

For the MSM to write something like this, merely (PROVES) without a shadow of a doubt, the MSM/PTW are running scared...:scared:
...and the public (Doesn't) believe their endless (LIES & Coverups) that has been (FORCE-FED) to them, ever since that fateful day..!

" the pair have now appealed to President Barack Obama to declassify the 2002 report."
Does anyone else think this is absolutely laughable. I am sure Obama will get right to it. LMAO
It is interesting to see this in Mainstream though. Thanks for posting!!!!!

I also laughed when I saw that the two are appealing to Obama. Just be whistleblowers, flee the country to Russia and disseminate the information through the Internet to a reputable news agency. TPTB will NOT win this war.

"Inside the Saudi 9/11 Coverup" New York Post Runs Major Piece Backing Jones-Lynch Resolution to Declassify 28 Pages
December 15, 2013 4:20PM
Sunday's New York Post, with a daily circulation of over half a million and, by some reports, the paper with the 7th largest circulation in the United States, runs a hard-hitting exposure of the Saudi role in the 9/11 attacks, by veteran investigative reporter Paul Sperry. Entitled "Inside the Saudi 9/11 coverup," (http://nypost.com/2013/12/15/inside-the-saudi-911-coverup/) it presents the results of Sperry's own investigation, with the point being to put pressure on members of Congress to each read the 28 pages, and to support the Jones-Lynch resolution to release the entire Congressional Joint Inquiry Report.
Sperry concludes by quoting from an addendum to the Joint Inquiry report, which stated: "State-sponsored terrorism substantially increases the likelihood of successful and more lethal attacks within the United States."
"Their findings must be released," Sperry continues, "even if they forever change US-Saudi relations. If an oil-rich foreign power was capable of orchestrating simultaneous bulls-eye hits on our centers of commerce and defense a dozen years ago, it may be able to pull off similarly devastating attacks today."
"Members of Congress reluctant to read the full report ought to remember that the 9/11 assault missed its fourth target: them."
"Incontrovertible evidence"
Sperry refers to a CIA memo which may have been part of the basis for the classified 28 pages which said that the CIA had "found 'incontrovertible evidence' that Saudi government officials not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom helped the hijackers both financially and logistically." Sperry adds: "The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war."
In reviewing the evidence from other sources, Sperry adds a couple of elements not normally reported, which LaRouchePAC has not confirmed for itself, but are worthy of further investigation:
* That Saudi agents arranged for the hijackers to meet with Anwar al-Awlaki in San Diego, whom Sperry descibes as "Saudi-sponsored" and as working closely with the Saudi Embassy, and who fled the U.S. on a Saudi jet about a year after the 9/11 attacks. He says al-Awlaki helped the hijackers a second time from the Saudi-financed Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, aiding them in obtaining housing and identification documents.
* That on the eve of the 9/11 attacks, a top Saudi official, Saleh Hussayen, moved from a nearby hotel near Dulles Airport into the same Marriott Residence Inn where three of the Saudi hijackers, who then targetted the Pentagon, were staying. The FBI failed to investigate Hussayen.
* That FBI case agents told Sperry that they were repeatedly called off from pursuing 9/11 leads that led back to the Saudi Embassy, which, he says, "had curious sway over the White House and FBI responses to the attacks."
Appearing as it does in the widely-read New York Post, the Sperry article should significantly add to the momentum behind the Jones-Lynch bill release of the 28 pages and exposure of the Saudi role in 9/11.
