Exactly the earlier you can saddle kids with debt the better the corporate/political Barons can skim the profits and expences from the top !!

‘Managing directors at banks in London are expecting a 44 percent rise in bonuses
for 2013 even as European authorities seek to scale back compensation, according
to a recruiter’s survey.

The average bonus for managing directors may increase to 166,955 pounds
($271,686) from 115,618 pounds a year earlier, Astbury Marsden said in an
e-mailed statement. That’s more than double their average salary, up from 88

Lord Hanningfield defends ‘clocking in’ to claim expenses

Wednesday 18th December 2013 at 03:52 By David Icke

http://www.davidicke.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Lord-Hanningfield-010.jpg

‘A peer jailed for expenses fraud has defended regularly “clocking in” to claim a
£300 daily attendance allowance despite spending less than 40 minutes inside the
House of Lords.

Lord Hanningfield – who served nine weeks of a nine-month sentence in 2011 for
falsely claiming £28,000 in parliamentary expenses – suggested it was normal
practice and that as many as 50 others did the same.

The money went on “entertaining, meeting people, employing people”, he said,
adding that he was a “full-time peer” who needed to be able to pay his electricity
bill and buy food.’

Schumer: Veterans Should Take a Pay Cut But Congress Should Not

Wednesday 18th December 2013 at 03:46 By David Icke

http://www.davidicke.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Chuck_Schumer.jpg

‘Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) believes that it’s time that US military veterans do
their part for America by taking a cut to their retirement benefits.

Because, of course, veterans haven’t done enough for the country.

Members of Congress, however, should take no such cuts. According to the rather
despicable gun-control advocating Senator Schumer, the government officials have
sacrificed enough.’

Cidersomerset-

I had listened to the song 16 Tons a few days ago and actually read the words. You're right- we've come full circle from that era to today. The greed is just more blatent now. It seems like most people are becoming conditioned to accept it and are also distracted by their own personal problems. Great thread!

Here's a link to the Members of the House of Lords List if you would like to take a look:

http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/lords/

If you can't be bothered - and who could blame you - then I can tell you there are 32 x A4 pages of the people who are robbing us all blind. They should be at the top of the list of benefits cheats imo. But the question is: why do we tolerate it? And for how much longer will we? We say that we don't need more leaders but we so obviously do . . . . Here's one for Russell Brand I think. Let's get the buggers off benefits they don't need!

Cruelty, Corporations, Congress, and Christmas: Unhappy Holidays for the Poor & Unemployed

Wednesday 25th December 2013 at 03:50 By David Icke

http://www.davidicke.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Tents_D.jpg

‘It’s the holiday season in the United States and members of Congress and
corporate executives are home with their families.

Meanwhile, in a year that Congress decided to slash funds for the federal food
stamp program while also refusing to extend unemployment benefits to millions of
people still suffering from a financial crisis created by large banks and a corrupted
government, working people and the nation’s most vulnerable have been left to
fend for themselves.’
