View Full Version : Alignment allows us to float on jan 4th

Lol interesting any way. You know your gona try it. :p

It has been revealed by the British astronomer Patrick Moore that, on the morning of January 4th 2014, an extraordinary astronomical event will occur. At exactly 9:47 am, the planet Pluto will pass directly behind Jupiter, in relation to the Earth. This rare alignment will mean that the combined gravitational force of the two planets would exert a stronger tidal pull, temporarily counteracting the Earth’s own gravity and making people weigh less. Moore calls this the Jovian-Plutonian Gravitational Effect.

Moore told scientists that they could experience the phenomenon by jumping in the air at the precise moment the alignment occurred. If they do so, he promised, they would experience a strange floating sensation.

Astronomers have long been aware that there would be an alignment of the planets on that date, when Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto would be on the same side of the Sun, within an arc 95 degrees wide. But now the effect could be expected as the gravitational effect of the other planets on the Earth’s crust is maximum even at their closest approach.

If you think you will be able to float around your house then you will be mistaken. BUT if you jump in the air at 9:47AM local time on January 4th 2014, it should take you about 3 seconds to land back on your feet instead of the usual 0.2 seconds.

January 4th 2014 will be a popular day for crazy stunts going on youtube. Do you have any ideas for stunts?

Too bad there are some telling this is a hoax...

It would be really cool otherwise.

Sad! I was ready to jump if only I knew when!

This forum, being global, has people in many time-zones. I am typing this is many of your tomorrows! So I would like to know which particular "local time" you are referring too, (in spite of the spoil-sport who called it a hoax, it would be fun to do!)

Possibly I am wrong and it will happen 24 times around the world--- but I don't think so.

fyi - Here below is the Astro chart for noon, Greenwich, UK on Jan 4th, which are sort of random picks since Astrodienst (astrodienst.com) requires a date/place/time for event charting.

I don't recall having seen a chart looking quite as 'organized' as this. Some are indicating increased chance and strength of earthquakes around this time.

Curious if any astro-knowledgable Avalonians care to comment on this.

holy crap. better get the helmets out and dig a foxhole....

But, at second glance, it is not that bad. the 'orbs' are too open. The more exact the degrees, the greater the effect. just like two waves in a tub working together, they have to match perfectly to create the doubling effect. the closer the degrees are to perfection, the more the problem emerges as a potent peak. I see no major perfected alignments here.

this profile for 21014 agrees. they show nothing.

[educated guess]The most sensitive instruments on Earth could not detect the effect of Pluto's gravity on Earth.[/educated guess]

Jupiter and Earth are always "in alignment." Always. Think about it. Add the gravitational force of Pluto, and... hahahahahaaa

"...it should take you about 3 seconds to land back on your feet instead of the usual 0.2 seconds." A planetoid 4.3 billion km away from Earth counteracting/slowing the effect of Earth's gravity by 1500%? Oh, I definitely want some of whatever they are smoking. (Actually, I don't smoke pot, but I might make an exception and take one toke of Jovian-Plutonian Gravitational Effect Indica.)

It is a hoax, really:

Would be great, though.

I'm already feeling floaty from time to time, just like now. If I would feel even more floaty then I guess I could float in the air!

I only had time to look at the astro chart above.
The red lines indicate a grand cross... 90 degree angles all over.
Poor little Capricorns who are born that week...
they will have hard lives.
And poor parents and siblings, too.
And poor anyone who has planets on those four corners, natally.
The rest of the world will carry on as normal.

I looked at my ephemeris just now, and find that the 1st of January is more of concern than the 4th.
The sun and Pluto will then be conjunct, at 11 degrees of Capricorn, and Mars will be at 11 Libra. Jupiter is on the opposite side, in Cancer.. at 15 degrees, so not exactly aligned. 176 degrees opposition.
Pluto opposite Jupiter in a person's chart creates lust for power, without fail.

Gonna have to pester the mods for a button for that one! :)

Hey, I'm in Colorado. Was first in line at the dispensary. I'm already floating! Wait, that was just my head. My body is still grounded.

Does gravity actually exist anyway??

Well, this never really made a lot of sense from the start. First, "local time"? that means the event isn't at a precise time, yet is being passed off as so - fail one. If the people on the other side of the world jumped at that precise time, would they be slammed into the earth for a moment? Shouldn't there be a warning? - Fail two.

Pluto's gravity? That one is just playing on peoples general lack of education on solar bodies.

Although, it made me wonder about the old question ... "if everyone on earth jumped at the exact same time, would anything happen?" ;)

Well, gravity or something like it seems to have done for Michael Schumacher, whose existence is also in doubt right now.

Dennis, Dennis, What have you been smoking if not pot? Everyone knows it is Earth and Pluto that are in alignment always, and it is Jupiter, that comes into and out of alignment. :P :P

Hey, I'm in Colorado. Was first in line at the dispensary. I'm already floating! Wait, that was just my head. My body is still grounded.

We will find out if any Colorado (or other legal state) dispensaries' owners read Project Avalon posts. You'll know it's true if you see "Jovian-Plutonian Gravitational Effect Indica" on the menu.

Always seeing everything from a Plutonian perspective! Well, yer right. But now we'll have to watch out for Mercurials, Venusians, Martians, Saturnians, Uranians, Neptunians...and even Lunatics that want us to see things from their perspective!

The problem is that his body is not aligned with his head (Conk's), or vice versa...
