Citing internal documents, German magazine Der Spiegel said on Sunday that TAO's mission is 'Getting the ungettable'

An unnamed intelligence official said TAO had gathered 'some of the most significant intelligence our country has ever seen'

Their spies have intercepted computer deliveries, exploited hardware vulnerabilities, and even hijacked Microsoft's internal reporting system"

Thank you for this timely thread!

I got my hackles up when a Prism-ish website called "Email Genome" was snooping my email inbox page.
When I went to their Genome site, it had the same logo as the Wikipedia page on Prism.

You can see why someone would be offended, LOL --

but the thing you mention... note to the CIA etc.: when you start "hacking" the game loses its fun quickly. Then it is no longer the same game...
