OKLAHOMA CITY - A satanic group unveiled designs Monday for a 7-foot-tall statue of
Satan it wants to put at the Oklahoma state Capitol, where a Ten Commandments
monument was placed in 2012.
The New York-based Satanic Temple formally submitted its application to a panel that
oversees the Capitol grounds, including an artist's rendering that depicts Satan as
Baphomet, a goat-headed figure with horns, wings and a long beard that's often used
as a symbol of the occult. In the rendering, Satan is sitting in a pentagram-adorned
throne with smiling children next to him.
"The monument has been designed to reflect the views of Satanists in Oklahoma City
and beyond," temple spokesman Lucien Greaves said in a statement. "The statue will
also have a functional purpose as a chair where people of all ages may sit on the lap of
Satan for inspiration and contemplation."
The Satanic Temple maintains that the Oklahoma Legislature's decision to authorize a
privately funded Ten Commandments monument at the Capitol opened the door for its
statue. The Ten Commandments monument was placed on the north steps of the
building in 2012, and the Oklahoma chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union has
sued to have it removed.
Similar requests for monuments have been made by a Hindu leader in Nevada, an
animal rights group and the satirical Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
In response, the Oklahoma Capitol Preservation Commission recently placed a
moratorium on considering any new requests.
"Anybody can still make their request, but we'll hold off on considering them until the
lawsuit is adjudicated," commission Chairman Trait Thompson said.
The push by the Satanic Temple has rankled elected leaders in this conservative state
known as the buckle of the Bible Belt, who say such a proposal would never be
approved by the commission.
"I think you've got to remember where you are. This is Oklahoma, the middle of the
heartland," said Rep. Don Armes, R-Faxon. "I think we need to be tolerant of people
who think different than us, but this is Oklahoma, and that's not going to fly here."
While Greaves acknowledges the Satanic Temple's effort is in part to highlight what it
says is hypocrisy of state leaders in Oklahoma, he says the group is serious about having a monument placed there.
The group already has raised nearly half of the $20,000 it says it needs to build the
monument.
"We plan on moving forward one way or another," Greaves said.
Another Oklahoma legislator, Rep. Earl Sears, called the group's effort "an insult to the
good people of the state."
"I do not see Satanism as a religion, and they have no place at the state Capitol," said Sears, R-Bartlesville.
On its website, the Satanic Temple explains that it "seeks to separate Religion from
Superstition by acknowledging religious belief as a metaphorical framework with which
we construct a narrative context for our goals and works.
"Satan stands as the ultimate icon for the selfless revolt against tyranny, free & rational
inquiry, and the responsible pursuit of happiness," the website says.

The Satanic Temple, a religious group, has offered to donate a 7 foot statue to be
placed in the Oklahoma Statehouse. They released their designs for the monument
this week.
As a religious monument, it’s not the biggest, the most incredible, or even the
most controversial, but as a tourist attraction it’s probably the most ingenious. If
built, who won’t be talking about it, photographing it, or visiting it (and attempting
to vandalize it)?
Apparently the dark mystery of Baphomet still draws the curious.
[Baphomet: The Mystery of Mysteries Unveiled]
In past, such symbolism was often hidden in architecture or within secret societies,
disguised yet on display to both the knowledgeable and the uninitiated. It’s not
common even today to see blatant monuments to religious organizations, outside
of Christianity, Islam and Judaism, presented and accepted in the western public square.
As secular groups such as Atheists gain ground in erecting their own monuments,
Satanists are able to promote the expression of their ideology as based on liberty
and the "values of religious freedom and free expression".
Wikipedia notes:
Despite criticism from other religious groups, there are signs that Satanistic beliefs
have become more socially tolerated. Satanism is now allowed in the Royal Navy of
the British Armed Forces, despite opposition from Christians, and in 2005, the
Supreme Court of the United States debated over protecting the religious rights of
prison inmates after a lawsuit challenging the issue was filed to them.
Contemporary Satanism is mainly an American phenomenon, the ideas spreading
with the effects of globalization and the Internet. The Internet promotes awareness
of other Satanists, and is also the main battleground for the definitions of Satanism
today. Satanism started to reach Eastern Europe in the 1990s, in time with the fall
of the Soviet Union, and most noticeably in Poland and Lithuania, predominantly
Roman Catholic countries.
Satanism developed in the context of the Christian faith, as an ideological backlash
to certain tenets promoted in Christianity. The character of Satan revered by
Satanists, therefore, is mainly regarded as the prototypical anti-Christian figure.

What a stunt, I personally think it would be comical to see a statue of satan if the next little alcove had a 7 foot statue of the flying spaghetti monster…

Just we need, religious tension in the buckle of the bible belt, know-it-all atheists goading on closed-minded fundies, what could possibly go wrong?

And who's children are the planning to have at there feet? PTW have plans for the "real Amurkins" it looks like. Our children's hair is kinky. I'd watch them woods and missing children signs along the way. Could be the reason. One thing for sure, if the children had afros standing at the foot of Satan, we'd get rid of them in our community/village, because who's children will be sacrificed, but those who welcome the covens?
And it's not racist to notice those things, I'm an artist and notice everything in the sculpture. Also, if you're the one baring children/mother, we care for all children, but to actually see who the targeting is towards, makes me want to warn those, around the warlocks and witches in the woods.

As long as a nation has fundamentalists trying to incorporate their beliefs into the justice and political systems, these systems will always be a three ring circus.

Satanic monument
The Satanic Temple, a religious group based in New York City, on Monday unveiled their design for a monument they hope to erect at the Oklahoma Statehouse.
The 7-foot-tall monument would include a goat-headed Baphomet figure sitting cross-legged on a stone slab, flanked by two smiling children. The monument would also include quotes from poets Lord Byron and William Blake.
“The monument has been designed to reflect the views of Satanists in Oklahoma City and beyond. The statue will serve as a beacon calling for compassion and empathy among all living creatures. The statue will also have a functional purpose as a chair where people of all ages may sit on the lap of Satan for inspiration and contemplation,” spokesman Lucien Greaves explained.
The group offered to donate a monument last month, after State Rep. Mike Ritze (R-Broken Arrow) and conservative Christians were allowed to erect a Ten Commandments monument on the statehouse grounds.
Lawmakers in Oklahoma, however, have insisted that the Satanists should not be given the same treatment as Christians.
“This is a faith-based nation and a faith-based state,” Rep. Earl Sears (R-Bartlesville) said. “I think it is very offensive they would contemplate or even have this kind of conversation.”
After other groups — including PETA and the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster — asked for their own displays, the Oklahoma City Capitol Preservation Commission placed a moratorium on new monuments at the statehouse.
But the Satanic Temple insists erecting a monument of their own is within their constitutional rights.
“Our monument celebrates an unwavering respect for the Constitutional values of religious freedom and free expression,” Greaves explained. “Satanism is a fundamental component at the genesis of American liberty. Medieval witch-hunts taught us to adopt presumption of innocence, secular law, and a more substantive burden of proof.
“Today, we are rightly offended by the notion of blasphemy laws and divine fiats. Acknowledging wrongful persecutions has helped shape the legal system that preserves the sovereignty of our skeptics, heretics, and the misunderstood. It has shaped a proud culture of tolerance and free inquiry. This is to be a historical marker commemorating the scapegoats, the marginalized, the demonized minority, and the unjustly outcast.”
The group hopes to raise $20,000 by January 17 to build the monument.
“We trust that this unique monument will also prove a favorite tourist attraction to Oklahoma’s Capitol for years to come,” Greaves remarked.

This is something that he could podcast on the peoples choice... and build an entire theme around... it's right down his alley... was reading the other post about his "corporate problems"
Another mistake I have seen many people make when starting their own company is NOT doing what they do best. They still have a "small business" mentality and try to micro manage everything themselves. A true CEO knows that is impossible, that is why CEO's are masters at one thing, projecting an image of themselves. The job is purely tactical, strategic and psychological.
David does research and presents well himself. He should hire someone else he absolutely trusts to manage the corporation, with himself as a principal, with a right to intercede. ie. the producer, and not the director. Then he could do what HE DOES BEST.
I think that is what he is missing. The only time you see him is when he is asking for funds. (yuck, who wants that job, hire professionals to do that... they are dime a dozen...) and dedicate a couple hours to a PBS type fund raising by bringing on people like Wayne Dyer or Russell Brand or something, what would it cost to make a phone room and put up a phone number, and it raises your public profile and gets to the heart of the issue.
He should do RESEARCH and PRESENT. He should be a HOST PRESENTER. That is what the people want when they think of THE PEOPLE'S VOICE. They want to see at least David coming in and introducing other members and guests. Figuratively showing that he is there, behind the scenes and he should definitely have his own time slot which would probably be the most popular hour.
I would like to see more of David Icke talking to other people about things like this baphomet lunatic fringe trying to raise a statue, find someone on the ground and setup a youtube presentation. Or get someone to do a video cam presentation. It would be a great opening for a ton of David's material. He could do it as a stand alone reporting and also as a personal commentary...

I am not sure what to think!
Is it possible that "Satanism" is actually two groups or more, some of whom practice self-indulgent acts while the others are involved with societal improvement?
Remember that the Christians were also persecuted, and that the Greeks helped shelter some of them.
Are we referring to the Greek pantheon as being Satanic, or just the modern permutations of it?
However in terms of human sacrifice and those sorts of unpleasant happenings, deceased FBI agent Ted Gunderson believed that human trafficking and sacrifice were alive and well in the USA and that NYC is the Satanic capital.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Gunderson
After retiring from the FBI, Gunderson set up a private investigation firm, Ted L. Gunderson and Associates, in Santa Monica. In 1980, he became a defense investigator for Green Beret Doctor Jeffrey R. MacDonald, who had been convicted of the 1970 murders of his pregnant wife and two daughters. Gunderson obtained affidavits from Helena Stoeckley confessing to her involvement in the murders.[8]
He also investigated a child molestation trial in Manhattan Beach California. In a 1995 conference in Dallas, Gunderson warned about the proliferation of secret Satanic groups, and the danger posed by the New World Order, a shadow government that would be controlling the US government.[9] He also claimed that a "slave auction" in which children were sold to men in turbans had been held in Las Vegas, that four thousand ritual human sacrifices are performed in New York City every year, and that the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was carried out by the US government.[9] Gunderson believed that in the US there is a secret widespread network of groups who kidnap children and infants, and subject them to Satanic ritual abuse and subsequent human sacrifice.[10][11]
Gunderson, a member of the Constitution Party, died on July 31, 2011. "Greg Gunderson [told] The Associated Press that his father died of cancer." [8]
There are also groups of "Satanists" parading as Christian military cults. For example, some websites link the Navigators group with Satanic teachings.
Bill Gates gave a large sum of money to a Satanist group called Lucis Trust some years ago -- "Lucifer's Trust", a group sponsored by Theosophists, who were a late 1800s offshoot of the Satanic church.
The unfortunate truth about the last 200 years or so of Satanism is that the followers got deeply embedded into racism and classism, which is a very Hindu principle and not modern... so Satanism as practiced then and now is just an underpinning of the feudal and racist systems of the past!!
The educational system would be better today if Satanism was really concerned with enlightenment. You can only learn so much when you're worried about what's between your legs, or worse.

Bill Gates: Satanist In
Sheep's Clothes?
Theosophy And The 'New Age'
By Henry Makow PhD
7-9-6
When Warren Buffet gave $31 billion to Bill Gates' Foundation last week, I assumed it would advance the New World Order. But when a reader showed me Gates' connection with the pagan anti-Semitic Lucis (formerly Lucifer) Trust, I sat up and took notice.
Established by Alice Bailey in 1922, the Lucifer Publishing Company changed its name the following year for obvious reasons. Based at 120 Wall Street, the "Lucis Trust" is a vital part of the satanic cult that controls the Western world. It started the New Age Movement to deviously induct society into the Luciferian mindset. Apparently, it is the official publisher of the United Nations and manages its "Meditation Room."http://www.ordination.org/together.htm
Bailey was the leader of the Theosophical Society which was founded in 1875 by Helena Blavatsky. Theosophy is a branch of Freemasonry. According to Constance Cumbey, Theosophy spawned the occult societies that in turn created Adolf Hitler and the Nazi ideology. ("The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow: The New Age Movement and the Coming Age of Barbarism" 1983)
In 1949, Bailey wrote that the Jewish holocaust was due to the Jews' bad karma: "The evil karma of the Jew today is intended to end his isolation, to bring him to the point of relinquishing material goals, of renouncing a nationality that has a tendency to be somewhat parasitic..." (/Esoteric Healing/, p. 263)
Bailey teaches that Jews are from a different solar system and that Orientals and Blacks are from a different root race. Occidental races must control the world, as they are our most evolved root race. (Cumbey, 115)
This is of concern since a major focus of the Gates foundation is providing billions of dollars worth of vaccines to the poor in Third World countries.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has doubled in size due to the Buffet gift, and is five times larger than the US next largest Ford Foundation. The Gates Foundation is mentioned as a financial member of the Lucis subgroup, "The New Group of World Servers." (See $$ under groups. The pictures of Nelson Mandela, Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore are also featured on this site <http://www.ngws.org/>.)
Bill Gates is also mentioned on the Lucis Trust web site:
"Through the philanthropic and humanitarian work of such people as George Soros, Bill Gates, Kofi Annan and Bono, to name just a few, people are beginning to recognize the needs of the world's destitute people and acting to do something about them. There is talk by Soros and another thinker, James Tobin, about the creation of some type of tax upon financial transactions that would be used to support domestic programs in the developing world. Humanity surely has the ability to institute these and similar changes; it just needs the will to do so." http://www.lucistrust.org/meetings/fullmoon/talks/02gemtalkny.shtml
A tax on all financial transactions is part of what Lucis Trust calls "The Plan." This begins with the proclamation of the "Maitreya," the New Age Messiah who they have been grooming for more than three decades.
According to Cumbey, who is a lawyer, the "Plan" also includes a new world government and religion under Maitreya, a universal credit card system; an authority that would control the food supply; a universal tax; and a universal draft.
"They plan to outlaw all present religious practises and symbols of orthodox Jews and Christians," Cumbey writes. "New Agers have threatened violence and even extermination of Jews, Christians and Moslems who fail to cooperate with Maitreya and his new religion." (20)
The Theosophical Society believes Lucifer is God which they identify with the Sun. In "The Secret Doctrine" Blavatsky writes: "In this case it is but natural ... to view Satan, the Serpent of Genesis as the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind."
"For it is he who was the "Harbinger of Light," bright radiant Lucifer, who opened the eyes of automaton (Adam) created by Jehovah, as alleged; and he who was first to whisper, "In the day yea eat there of, ye shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil" -- can only be regarded in the light of a Saviour. An "adversary" to Jehovah ... he still remains in esoteric truth the ever-loving "Messenger"... who conferred on us spiritual instead of physical immortality ...
Satan, or Lucifer, represents the active ... "Centrifugal Energy of the Universe" in a cosmic sense ... Fitly is he ... and his adherents ... consigned to the "sea of fire," because it is the Sun ... the fount of life in our system, where they are petrified ... and churned up to re-arrange them for another life; that Sun which, as the origin of the active principle of our Earth, is at once the Home and the Source of the Mundane Satan... " http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/NewAge/Lucis_Trust.htm
"New Agers generally do not openly repudiate Christianity," Cumbey writes. "They redefine Christ to give pagan Gods equal time, and expand the definition of Christ to be the integral essence of themselves." (146)
While New Agers "would rightfully picket to prevent a Nazi demonstration, they fail to see that point-for-point the program of the New Age Movement has complete identity with the programs of Hitler." (56, Cumbey does the point-by-point comparison on pp.114-120)
"New Agers" profess a great love of peace and disarmament but Cumbey cites Bailey saying nuclear weapons will be the preserve of the United Nations for "threatened use when aggressive action on the part of any nation rears its ugly head." (70)
Similarly, the environment and world hunger causes all have a hidden elite agenda. Cumbey writes that supporters of anti-hunger programs are urged to back measures for abortion, artificial insemination, forced limitation of family size, genetic control and even death control." (56)
Buffett said Monday "that he was a student of many of the same philanthropists that Gates modeled himself on - the oilman John D. Rockefeller, and the steel magnate Andrew Carnegie."
These "philanthropists" have used their tax-exempt money to subvert Western Civilization for almost a century. For example, a Rockefeller boasted to Aaron Russo that they started feminism to get women into the workplace paying taxes on the debt, while they indoctrinate the young in daycares. Significantly, another focus of the Gates Foundation is "improving American high schools."
They are on the forefront of destroying traditional cultures by breaking up the family. They are championing "women's rights" through loans mainly to women to make them independent of men.
CONCLUSION
Western civilization has been subverted by an organized Satanic power. As I explain elsewhere (http://www.savethemales.ca/001297.html,) this cult is sponsored by the central banking cartel that must enslave mankind in order to consolidate its monopoly on our credit. The credit check of the future might inquire into our religious and political views.
Obviously, like the war on poverty or the war on drugs, Gates' war on disease will not be effective and may even advance the real depopulation goals of the nwo. But alot of other people will be enriched by the process and won over to the nwo.
I prided myself on having escaped the banker's Communist hoax (http://www.savethemales.ca/160303.html) but I realize now that Communism was the "plan" for my parent's generation. I fell hook-line-and-sinker for the "New Age", which was aimed at my generation. It is exactly like Communism, appealing to our idealism, but having an insidious hidden agenda.
I still believe some drug experiences can open the door to mysticism and religious knowledge. God DOES dwell within as universal Love but the God of the Illuminati is NOT Love. It deifies man at his lowest not his highest. It freezes us cryogenically in our own filth.
We live in interesting times. Our mainstream leaders have sold us out. Society has slipped the moorings of truth and is steered by megalomaniacs. All we can do is continue to man the lifeboats of truth.

Consider the following alarming peroration from Lincoln’s speech on the Sub-Treasury, delivered in Springfield, IL, and dated December 26, 1839:
“I know that the great volcano at Washington, aroused and directed by the evil spirit that reigns there, is belching forth the lava of political corruption, in a current broad and deep, which is sweeping with frightful velocity over the whole length and breadth of the land, bidding fair to leave unscathed no green spot or living thing, while on its bosom are riding like demons on the waves of Hell, the imps of that evil spirit, and fiendishly taunting all those who dare resist its destroying course, with the hopelessness of their effort; and knowing this, I cannot deny that all may be swept away.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Wirt_(Attorney_General)
William Wirt (November 8, 1772 – February 18, 1834) was an American author and statesman who is credited with turning the position of United States Attorney General into one of influence. Wirt County, West Virginia is named in his honor.
Grave robbery[edit]
In the early 2000s, after a series of mysterious phone calls to the cemetery, it was discovered that in the 1970s someone had broken into the Wirt Tomb at Washington, D.C.'s Congressional Cemetery and had stolen Wirt's skull. After the skull was recovered from the house of a historical memorabilia collector, it spent time in D.C. Council member Jim Graham's office while he tried to get it returned to its rightful crypt. Finally in 2005 investigators from the Smithsonian Institution were able to determine the skull, which had gold block letters saying "Hon. Wm. Wirt" painted on the tin box containing it, was indeed his and had it returned.[9]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Morgan_(anti-Mason)#The_Morgan_affair
William Morgan (1774–1826?) was a resident of Batavia, New York, whose disappearance and presumed murder in 1826 ignited a powerful movement against the Freemasons, a fraternal society that had become influential in the United States. After Morgan announced his intention to publish a book exposing Freemasonry's secrets, he was arrested, allegedly kidnapped by Masons, and believed murdered.
The allegations sparked a public outcry and inspired Thurlow Weed, a New York politician, to muster discontent and found the new Anti-Masonic Party, which was also opposed to President Andrew Jackson. It ran a presidential candidate in 1832 but was nearly defunct by 1835.[1]

Why can't people be serious about a well-established and proven cult that does in fact exist in our country?
It's not actually fair to compare this to "Santa Claus" when people are being hurt by it.
There was a high-ranking NCO at my former air force base who made a point of speaking against human trafficking each and every time she had the opportunity to give a presentation. We all know that sex isn't the only reason human freight has value -- there is also organ harvesting, alternative medicine, and cults.

Screams and nightmares
Of a life I want
Can't see living this lie no
A world I haunt
You've lost all control of my
Heart and soul
Satan holds my future
Watch it unfold
I am the antichrist
It's what I was meant to be
Your God left me behind
And set my soul to be free
Watching disciples
Of the satanic rule
Pentagram of blood
Holds the jackal's truth
Searching for the answer
Christ hasn't come
Awaiting the final moment
The birth of satan's son
Screams,
From a life I live
Torment,
Is what I give
Torture,
Is what I love
The down fall,
Of the heavens above
I am the antichrist
All love is lost
Insanity is what I am
Eternally my soul will rot
ROT!... ROT!

Seems to me satanism is a lot like Christianity, in that the nastiest and most esoteric ends of those spectrums, the Opus Dei or Jesuits or Vatican secret special forces or whatever are some of the most anti-human groups you can get involved.
There's extremist all throughout that make it all seem bat***+ crazy, but most don't believe half of the crap in them, none can interpret it all correctly, and there's as many different uses for them as are people "using" them. And tons and tons of emotional baggage and attachments making it near impossible to seriously discuss any of it
Sooo...gotta laugh to keep from cryin!
Think about this though: this is more an issue of causing an internal emotionally charged clusterf**k amongst us useless eaters pretending we have rights and representation and tolerance and all those abstract concepts we love to hate each over...that's why I have fun with this particular article, god bless America, where we're free to hate others for who they worship, and where we all should get to plant our own monument at the state capital!

You hit the nail on the head re: why I was once on the verge of checking out Buddhism, lol
But 2,000 years is a long time to corrupt both Christianity and Judaism :( to suit the mainstream i.e. present world rulers @_@
I think a lot of innocent people and social reformers have been lumped in with cultists,
and many societies have been disparaged (although some had it coming) when they deserved praise...
It's hard to "appreciate" the NYC church of Satan or whomever they are, after reading what Ted Gunderson claimed about that place.
p.s.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan
In LaVeyan Satanism, according to the author of The Satanic Bible, Anton Szandor LaVey, Leviathan represents the element of Water and the direction of West. The element of Water in Satanism is associated with life and creation, and may be represented by a Chalice during ritual. In The Satanic Bible, Leviathan is listed as one of the Four Crown Princes of Hell. This association was inspired by the demonic hierarchy from The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abra-Melin the Mage. The Church of Satan uses the Hebrew letters at each of the points of the Sigil of Baphomet to represent Leviathan. Starting from the lowest point of the pentagram, and reading counter-clockwise, the word reads "לִוְיָתָן". Translated, this is (LVIThN) Leviathan.[12] In Demonology, the Leviathan is one of the seven princes of Hell (envy) and its gatekeeper (see Hellmouth).

Exactly. We wanted "freedom of religion", we certainly go it. Though somehow I doubt this is what the founding fathers had in mind.

I have just had this quick impression - reminiscence that I think is actually based on some of the Far North legends,
common to Northern Europe, the Lapacho people of America, Island , Siberian tribes etc .
and I can't recall what was the exact story but the among the many legends about Santa, at least one version of him was an aged man with reindeer head or goat head
who lived alone in the woods ,
for centuries as perhaps he's been so cursed by fairies or was an offspring of human woman and one of the Gods ( Thor , possibly ) ,
he possessed supernatural strength and powers but was not allowed to come to villages during the year
because he scared people , especially kids .
He was only allowed to come once a year .. at time of winter Solstice and he would bring mysterious presents to children .. and those he liked to please .
It's an old legend and not much to do with this 'modern stuff' but the closest reference I could find is probably in the 'Yule Goat'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yule_Goat
The origins of the legend I'm telling remain obscure to me .. but as a matter of fact , people of North , whether in Euro-Asia or America share the same ethnic roots and history which too is rather unmapped and lots of it probably fell into historical oblivion.
On the other hand ... and from what we know from legends of the Vedic scholars ( old Persian - Aryan - Iranian - Indian origin ) ,
before the last Ice Age and during that time when Earth was wrapped in rings of ice , regions around Poles were comparatively warmer and hosted flourishing and advanced civilisation for many thousands of years , perhaps tens of thousands,
before the climate changed again and people could resettle in the South .
Which itself explains remnants of surviving tribes in those cold harsh climates .
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Arctic_Home_in_the_Vedas
I have the PDF of the book saved should someone be interested.
The Biblical version of anti-christ that has had much to do with paganism and confrontation with old animalistic cults and religions ( including Egyptian ) ,
a powerful non-human who is a hybrid between either animal and man , or 'God' and man or animal ,
stands naturally in direct opposite to culturally 'evolved' religion based on the humanistic teachings of 'pure man' , the 'Son of Man' or 'Son of God' personified by Christ .
From then on it was made clear that human soul and body are pure enough, capable enough to carry the powers of Divine creation .
But .. as you can observe ... legends aren't only legends, they're also our history and may have very true core ..
coming back..

Ah well, so far the Christian God has been a bit of a rude prick, imo, and I wonder what this Baphomet, satan, devil, or whatever they call it would have to say about God, so far I agree with the stand up comedian Jim Jefferies. I don't agree with everything he says but God vs Devil, he most certainly has a point. See clip below.

what the founding fathers had in mind was the extermination of indigenous people for all the goodies they could steal.
"freedom and democracy" was (and still is) code for - "we are gonna take your stuff because we are better then you....and if you don't like that we will bomb you back into the stone ages"

Longer than that, Tes (I can call you Tes right?).
This has been going on, it seems to me, since our inception.
You know, as a Christian? This may seem bizarre of me to say...but I say let the statue go up, if indeed it is being proposed to go up.
The founding fathers of Canada based their principles on commerce and exploitation. *THUD*
But...oy...what's more important is what are the principles we found OURSELVES on?

Not to play devils advocate (lol) on this, but could there be a shred of the Satanists religion also being hijacked as most other religions for those wanting their own agenda pushed forward?
Could this not be a group of people, with certain religious beliefs, asking for something they thing they are entitled to? Could this be from genuine satanists? The view of satan (as in vs almighty god) have been skewed somewhat I am sure. Regardless of the outcome, it affects me in no way. I just find it quite interesting that there is such outrage regarding this where you have people stating they are christian, and believe in 'god' who go and kill others.
This isn't a PTB thing I don't think. I personally think it is all a little silly.

I don't think this is entirely fair. Although I do not claim to know everything about the Founders of the United States, I have taken the time to amply study the American Revolution and the beginnings of the nation. It is debatable whether Washington was a Mason, and even if he was, Freemasonry of the 18th century is far different than that of today. It has been poisoned by the Illuminati along with everything else.
I think it is just as likely, if not more so, that these statues and paintings of Washington are to serve as a mochery to his ideals and to the sovereign rights the constitution brought forth. Satanism is just that...a complete mockery of the true teachings of Jesus. The Illuminati love to mock us by infiltrating pure organizations and corrupting them...and leaving their mark for us to see.

I am truly disgusted. This to me is proof, that our society has been infiltrated by evil, BEYOND the tipping point.

Yeah, this is pretty screwed up. There are many issues that I have with this.
The first is that I don't think any religion deserves the right to advertise in public spaces. To me, Christianity is just as perverted and corrupt as the Church of Satan.
I think that it is OK for somebody to believe in something as long as they meet three criteria:
The belief truly makes them happy.
The belief or belief system is not indoctrinated on you and you do not indoctrinate it on others.
The belief does no harm to other people or sentient life (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual)
Unfortunately, these criteria are severly abused by most religions, especially the Church of Satan. Although the Church's letter of intent is sugar coated, there is no getting around their misguided ideals. Their ideals do cause harm to people, whether it's emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual...they are intended to.

Yeah, this is pretty screwed up. There are many issues that I have with this.
The first is that I don't think any religion deserves the right to advertise in public spaces. To me, Christianity (Let's change this to Christendom. There's a fundamental difference...I'm feeling a weighty post coming on this Sam and I might actually need you to proof it first...ie: find the holes in it for me before I hit submit!) is just as perverted and corrupt as the Church of Satan.
I think that it is OK for somebody to believe in something as long as they meet three criteria:

Why, why, why do I log on at 2:30 in the morning.
Dammit Sam! ;)
By your criteria, it's ok to commit suicide if it makes me happy.
-or-
It makes me happy to believe that 2 and 3 are irrelevant. Ohoh.
Where's that damn razor... ;)
I think what you're pointing to is the idea of free will yeah? And the idea of the rights and responsibilities that come with free will?
In which case, how about this:
1. The belief is a basically true belief.
2. The happiness that occurs is a result of the acceptance of that basic belief.
3. The happiness does not require the mandating of the basic belief because it exists innately within every human being to begin with.
4. Any beliefs that require indoctrination (by this I mean education of a belief contrary to what is a truly basic belief) runs contrary to 1, and is therefor false.
Therefore, true happiness comes from accepting basic beliefs.
Great. Now I won't be able to sleep. :P

Trying to sort through the various sub-forums makes it a tad difficult.
What say? Do a merge since you are the ORIGINATOR of such threads?
