Unfortunately your doubts were founded. It is can be viewed only by UK IP addresses:

"Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only, but all BBC iPlayer Radio programmes are available to you. Why?

If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice.

Go to the BBC iPlayer Radio homepage"

Thanks anyway.

I really enjoyed watching this last night...I'd like to see it again as my daughter played up demanding my attention just when HAARP was on lol

Another interesting thing...they were talking about Saturn and it's moons, and accidentally the expert called one of the moon a 'planet' which of course it is if Saturn is actually a cold star!! This was interesting for me and helpful as I'd been having conversations with my husband about topics that arose on this programmes, and he noticed the slip up about calling Saturn's moons planet, just the once.

Last nights was great, looking forward to more later! I wonder is there anyone who has put it on youtube for non UK residents to view?

It was very good how they explained CME's so clearly in simple terminology and how they covered historic events like the Carrington flare and 90's Canadian blackout.
Im sure it will have given many viewers something to think about, more-so the ones who haven't pondered the fragility of our electricity and reliance upon it.

Did anyone spot the part where they was having a group chat with the NASA scientist who was working the Cassini mission?
She was asked to try convert some scientifically complicated data into more understandable lingo and asked would it be a problem.

No she replies, "I can put a spin anything, I worked with NASA remember" ...priceless!

Just below the article:

UPDATE 08/11/12: Cox has tweeted: "As @daraobriain pointed out, we did the 'health and safety' aliens story live on air last year as a joke. Not really news!"

I wish I could view the article, but alas, I am in Alaska, so apparently, cannot. I hope it was nothing against HAARP. Been there, done that. I'm amazed that the rumors persist after 18 years. From what I understand HAARP is closing down due to them.

I think it's pretty sad, because knowing what I know, I would think people would be more worried about the fact the government is into finding out how to use mind control and weather control. The only thing that HAARP relates to in that regard is that this was admitted in the Environmental Impact study. HAARP can't do either, but they were hoping its technology would further that cause. Therefore, while many people were blaming HAARP for things it couldn't do, the distraction kept people from paying attention to what might really be going on in this regard, and where.

Just my opinion, but not a blind one.
