Ex Socialist/Marxist deputy head teacher who delivered a stinging attack on the education system at the Conservative Party conference has been barred from her school.

Katharine Birbalsingh earned a standing ovation at the conference for criticising the 'culture of excuses' in schools, and their poor standards. She was 'sent home' by her bosses the following day and may receive disciplinary action.
