Where have you gone mate? This is one of the coolest threads I've seen in a while.
Yeah Keel had a sort of all encompassing paranormal theory, inspired by events in his life that demonstrated (on most occasion) that where one paranormal manifestation arrived, others were sure to follow. For example, UFO activity would beget men in black activity, would beget poltergeist activity, would beget crypto activity etc...
This all makes sense when we regard the universe and the things in it as vibrational patterns. Keel's theory was that these manifestations all had one "source"...and they did in the sense that ghosts, UFO's, cryptids etc many times have a similar vibration. Another way to say that would be to say they come from the same dimension. Why they all tended to show up at the same time and in the same place is worthy of serious discussion, discussion that doesn't generally occur here because we're all programmed to think of these things as separate entities or things. I'm not sure that they always are.
I believe, and Keel did too, that many of these otherdimensionals are merely cosmic pranksters, stuck in our space and time and only staying alive as long as they are able to feed off the fear and negative energy of the people. Once a theory was arrived at, these OD's would do everything in their power to fortify it, or make it real in the minds of the people. For example,in the 60's especially there was this theory of space beings impregnating earth women(and men!) - there were never any pregnancies of course, but these entities perpetuated the hysteria with their cosmic manipulation. Or when Keel started developing theories on so-called alien activity on certain dates, he'd suddenly be deluged with evidence to support it, mostly thru misguided and manipulated contactees. In this way, belief can be the worst enemy.
This game is infinitely more nuanced than we give it credit for. The manipulation is much more deep and convoluted than we can imagine. The meta-logic of the ultraterrestrials or otherdimensionals is so unlike our own that understanding is virtually impossible. Their motivations are blurry at best, but I believe that this idea that andromedians and pleidians are flying here in spaceships is off by more than a few degrees. Whatever is effecting the earth now has been here much longer than we have, and are, in the words of Keel, a "normal condition of the planet". They are terrific deceivers, and I think we'll all have a good laugh someday when it is revealed to us what all this archetypal paranormal activity truly represents..
