No conclusion -- many wrote it off as fake, but even Bill noticed that the subject was doing very skilled rock climbing moves -- the hand holds looked very specific to reality. It may be CGI -- but if so, extremely well thought out.
Still looking for that thread ... I hate the search .. I wish I knew how to use it properly - it can't possibly suck as bad it always works for me ...

I just found some of what looks like confirmation on CGI --- a copyright claim was made on the youtube post, and if you google, the claimant, you can get more info.

I believe it does suck as bad as you imagine;). According to my calculations, the frustration its caused me has taken exactly 23 days, 4 hours, and 16 seconds off my life...and I probably won't live that long anyway, so that irks me....
Great forum. The best. But that damn search mode....

I'm always very noncommittal when it comes to.these vids. I shouldn't be - as fakery is so sophisticated these days - but I get terribly embarrassed when I profess a belief in the authenticity of something only to find out later its fraudulent. There's always some bloody know-it-all who casually rattles off seemingly obvoius reasons for its fraudulence, and you're left feeling like a damn fool. Well, at least I am...;)

By the way WTF he/she is doing on that building? . looking for someone?, there is no food on buildings wall ,specially on Russia!

The Book of Joel quote a nice touch! Even though "on the wall" most certainly refers to the walls of the city, that is the ramparts and the walkways upon them. Is the creature an ectoplasiic endomorph? Interesting, thanks for the post. I just am getting more and more intersted in interdimensional beings, ghosts and phantasms. They are not just bizarre but a key to our larger reality.

Me too, exactly. There is always some wise guy know-it-all (on YouTube) who "knows" it is photoshopped. Christ, I am not a total nincompoop, I am a PhD Scientist and I have some healthy skepticism. Yet I withhold Judgement and mentally file the data away to be corroborated or disproven (more conclusively) at a later date. Yep, I am with you ChinaSki. And this video of a demon or whatever is in this catagory for me. Looks awfully like it is SOMETHING. Yeah, I would be interested in the concensus opinion.

Mike, Frederick; you shouldn't feel like fools. It's not simply a matter of gullibility and scrutiny anymore... not really.
The technologies and talents behind photo-manipulation, CGI, etcetera have reached astonishing levels of sophistication in the modern age. Truly, even without the cover-ups and lies at the levels of government, corporations, and the media, this could indeed be considered the 'Age of Deception' merely on account of how realistic fabrications can be made to appear.
Personally, for that reason, I don't really mind those 'know-it-alls', provided of course that they have enough expertise or finesse with the medium in question to make a qualified assessment (and aren't simply nay-saying on account of their own disbelief, unwillingness to believe, or because they merely want to appear more savvy than their peers).
Just one reason I miss Raf... :(

If cgi, i wonder why people do these. I could do quite good fakes also as I do cgi and videos for living, but I just see no reason to do it? I assume these people could be testing their skills with audience and then adding videos to portfolio..

Usually students wishing to get into the special effects or game graphics industries trying to prove themselves. Remember the golden eagle that almost snatched a child in a Toronto park? Exactly what the students who created that were trying to do -- make a completely believable - unbelievable video.
