Just my 2c worth - about 2 years ago I had an intense lucid dream about entering an overgrown cave, where a giant was pegged to the ground; he was huge, wild looking with an oily substance on his skin. As I looked closer, he roared, "I am Marduk!" in sort of slow motion sound; I noticed his toenails were extremely long and pointed like claws. I was revolted and moved away. I had to look up the name on the net to see who it was; I had not had any interest in him before.

I asked a psychic on another forum about the dream; she felt that the experience of Marduk was a natural, predictable stage in the 'development of the magician". (Not that I am a magician!) BTW I am not and never have been Christian so the Satan references don't resonate with me.
