I've long contended that plants are sentient beings. They respond to all kinds of stimuli, including great music and bad intentions. Plants live in completely different time paradigms than we do, and I think for the most part they are not even aware of us. They are capable of noticing, responding and communicating with humans if they desire. And if we have ears to hear, they are capable of music.
