‘It is being dubbed the “gentle succession” – as the Queen gradually begins to
relinquish some of her traditional duties as monarch.

As she approaches her 88th birthday in April after almost 62 years on the throne,
she has agreed to hand over part of her workload in a historic “job-share”
arrangement with Prince Charles.

In a royal first, he will be taking on more head of state-style responsibilities as the
Palace starts to make tentative plans for his eventual succession.’

‘It was only after a further appeal, when we said it was in the public interest to
expose what Thatcher and her officials were discussing, that the information was
finally released last week.

It shows Savile claimed Prince Charles had agreed to be a patron of one of his
charities – and, crucially, last year someone in power had decided we shouldn’t
know that fact, despite it being common knowledge that the Prince and weirdo
Savile were pals.

Officials at the National Archive, which houses the documents, last night blamed
the Cabinet Office, under the control of Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood, for
redacting the documents.

The cover-up concerned Savile asking Prince Charles to be patron of his Stoke
Mandeville appeal.’

‘The BBC will be plunged into a major crisis with the publication of a damning
review, expected next month, that will reveal its staff turned a blind eye to the rape
and sexual assault of up to 1,000 girls and boys by Jimmy Savile in the
corporation’s changing rooms and studios.

Dame Janet Smith, a former court of appeal judge, who previously led the inquiry
into the murders by Dr Harold Shipman, will say in her report that the true number
of victims of Savile’s sexual proclivities may never be known but that his behaviour
had been recognised by BBC executives who took no action.

Smith’s investigations, which followed the Pollard inquiry into why the BBC shelved
a Newsnight programme about Savile, will send shockwaves through the
corporation.’

The first question is why didn't the press do something to expose this monster
years ago; after all his offences go back 50 years and many knew about them? The
sad fact is that in Britain the rich and powerful get away with almost anything,
including pedophilia, and the UK press have long been cowed into submission.
Britain's largest press baron, Rupert Murdoch, confirmed this recently when he
tweeted "Needed to demonstrate no such thing as free press in UK".

Besides Britain's libel laws are so draconian that they seriously impact freedom of
speech and of the press in favour of establishment elites. It wasn't until Savile died
that they were able to pluck up the courage to start printing the long known truth.

There now seems to be witch hunts for scapegoats as power elites try to divert
attention from themselves. Firstly it was about Savile: removing his tombstone,
cancelling his honors, etc. When that wasn't enough to satisfy the public ire, the
attempts to find scapegoats turned to the media's failure to report the story, or the
police's failure to investigate.

But increasingly it seems that Savile was a protected man. One senses that the real
question should be the role of the Intelligence/Security services [MI5 / MI6 in UK]
and establishment elites in the cover-up.

Sir Jimmy Savile's extraordinary relationships went indeed into the highest levels of
the UK Power Elite. Some of these close relationships have already been described
in this article, but there is far more to them than that. Savile was for years a
regular guest of Margaret Thatcher at her official country house when she was
Prime Minister.

Savile was close to Royalty, as well, and a frequent visitor to Buckingham Palace,
Kensington Palace and Highgrove (Prince Charles' estate). Indeed Prince Charles
had visited Savile at Savile's retreat in Glencoe, Scotland.

The Daily Mail reported in 2011 that Savile had "been used as an intermediary in an
attempt to resolve the differences" between Charles and Diana. Indeed the late
Princess Diana described Savile as a "sort of mentor to Charles".

A former BBC colleague of Jimmy Savile today accused him of being a necrophiliac
whose usual sexual partners were "under-aged subnormals".

The shocking allegations were made on Radio 5 Live by Paul Gambaccini, who
started working as a DJ on Radio 1 in 1973.

He said he was made aware of the necrophilia claims, which suggest Savile was
sexually attracted to corpses, in the Eighties.

His comments stunned DJ Nicky Campbell who tried to stop the conversation by
saying the allegations were not in the public domain.

Gambaccini, 63, went on to say the BBC was not the only organisation at fault for
failing to expose Savile.

He said other British media was equally to blame and claimed a reporter was heard
talking at a wedding 10 years ago about Savile being a necrophiliac.

He said: "The expression I came to associate with Savile's sexual partners was
either one used by production assistants or one I made up to summarise their
reports ... 'under-age subnormals'.

"He targeted the institutionalised, the hospitalised - and this was known. Why did
Jimmy go to hospitals? That's where the patients were."

But he said these things were taking place at a time when staff failed to get to grips
with the concept of paedophilia.

"It was considered so far beyond the pale that people didn't believe it happened,"
he said during the 5 Live Breakfast Show.

And he said the problems with failing to call Savile to account went well beyond the
BBC.

He questioned why newspapers had not acted when he said a tabloid reporter had
boasted that his colleagues were aware of a story linking Savile to "necrophilia".

Campbell pointed out: "That particularly lurid accusation that you have just brought
to people's attention is one that has not been in the public domain."

Gambaccini agreed and asked "why not?". And he asked: "Who vetted the
knighthood? Coco the clown?"

He said the entire society was taken in by Savile - "including the Prime Minister
who invited him to Chequers; including the royal family,

photographed with him, he got a knighthood in this country, he got a papal
knighthood.

"This is not just the BBC this is history, this is a man who conned an entire society,"
Gambaccini added.

I would prefer prince charles over the queen anyday ... I'm not a citizen of England but , maybe someone could enlighten me concerning prince Charles ...on the surface I like him ... but you never really know someone do you ???

Good question on the surface he is an affable, bubbling eccentric prince/gentleman
farmer, a throw back to another era in his tweeds and meddling on the fringes
of politics writing many letters to various ministers over the years a bit of an eco
warrior and architecture lover with other interests and has done his civic duty
as best he can in the public glare of a life of privilege and service and being served.

Re: "liking" Prince Charles more than the Queen, hmm, not sure how that is fair, he spends his time doing what he wants whereas the regent spends her time doing work a lot of the day, correct, and only now that she is closer to death does he have to do anything in the office. :( sad but true or they wouldn't call him the playboy prince.

After Diana's murder how could anyone like him, no matter how cute the smile; by the way is George Bush related to those two?

I was looking for the quote, I think it was in one of her longer interviews, or by one
of her close confidences but was used in the media at the time.

But the 84-year old cousin of the Duke of Edinburgh has instead launched an
excoriating attack on the Princess, describing her as “really spiteful” with “no
feeling at all” for the Prince of Wales.

A daughter of Earl Mountbatten of Burma, the Prince’s boyhood mentor, Lady
Pamela is fiercely loyal to the Prince, but her comments will make unwelcome
reading for his sons, Princes William and Harry.

In an interview to publicise her autobiography, Lady Pamela said of the
Princess: “She had enormous charisma, she was beautiful, she was very good at
empathy with the general crowd…and she had no feeling at all for her husband or
his family. Quite the reverse!

“She was really spiteful, really unkind to him – and, my God, he’s a man who needs
support and encouragement. [The marriage] absolutely destroyed him. He looked
grey and ghost-like. Now of course he’s blossomed again.”

Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine, Lady Pamela also rubbished suggestions that the
Princess, who died in 1997, had been given no support by the Royal family as she
tried to carve out a role for herself.

She said: “She made everybody believe she’d been thrown to the wolves. Such
nonsense! She was given the Queen’s favourite lady-in-waiting, Sue Hussey, to
help her, to teach her. But she didn’t want to be told anything.

“‘That’s boring, Sue,’ she’d say. Instead, she wanted to listen to her music and go
disco-ing or to some jive concert.

“She didn’t try. She had no need to try because she saw the people admired her,
then they admired her more. She reckoned she was the star.”

Lady Pamela, whose daughter India Hicks was one of the Princess’s bridesmaids,
has published a memoir called Daughter of Empire: Life as a Mountbatten, which
takes in the first 24 years of her life.

In it, she recalls meetings with Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, whom she
describes as “hard-hearted”. She said that after Edward had given up the throne in
1936 to marry Mrs Simpson, she had an affair with Jimmy Donahue, the playboy
heir to the Woolworth fortune.

“I remember the Duke [of Windsor, formerly Edward VIII] being in tears with my
father, saying ‘Wallis is with Jimmy’. He had no alternative than her,” she said.

Lady Pamela is a close friend of the Queen, having served as her lady-in-waiting,
and the Prince of Wales was both a friend and a client of her husband David Hicks,
the interior designer, who died in 1998.

Her father, Earl Mountbatten, was the Duke of Edinburgh’s uncle and was idolised
by the Prince of Wales until he was murdered by the IRA in 1979.

Her sister, Patricia, was badly wounded by the IRA bomb planted in the family’s
fishing boat, and Patricia’s son Nicholas, 14, was among four people killed.

Patricia, who inherited her father’s title to become Countess Mountbatten of Burma,
was also interviewed by the magazine and praised the Queen’s decision to shake
hands with the former IRA commander Martin McGuinness when she met him last
year.

McGuinness has been accused in the past of authorising the bombing, something he
strongly denies, but Countess Mountbatten said of the royal handshake: “She was
absolutely right to do that.

“I very much approve of anything that will bring about peace. The whole point is to
work towards a peaceful solution.”

Lady Pamela also praised the Duke of Edinburgh’s unorthodox sense of humour,
saying he deployed it to relax people nervous about meeting the Queen.

“People always stiffen up when she comes into a room,” she said. “So he makes a
really bad joke and it breaks the ice.”

A key UK security industry source who served in the military told the Sunday
Express that GCHQ remotely switched on recorder modes right up to the moment
the couple took their fatal Paris car trip.

If made public, the phone recordings could help throw light on sensational claims
by former SAS serviceman Soldier N that Diana was murdered by an SAS
assassination squad.

The bugging claim came as a separate Sunday Express investigation revealed that
film footage of Diana’s last hours was “kept secret”. An exhaustive inquiry in the
French capital has confirmed the existence of CCTV records of the night Diana died
in August 1997.

Many belong to private companies who used France’s strict privacy laws to avoid
having to hand them over to the police.

Just as crucially, a key traffic camera overlooking the scene of the crash in the
Alma Tunnel was said to be switched off or malfunctioning.

However, one operator contacted 16 years on said: “Images would have been
available if people wanted them to be. The truth is that every excuse possible was
made to make sure that live film could be kept secret.

“This suited lots of powerful people, especially those who wanted to dismiss the
crash as a simple traffic accident.”

The operator, who asked not to be identified because he “fears for my safety”, said
he was convinced that all available film was “rounded up and hidden or destroyed”.

Military sources have claimed Diana’s driver, Henri Paul, was blinded with an
intense flash of light forcing him to lose control of their Mercedes on an underpass
after leaving the Ritz hotel.

Now the security source, a specialist operative who has engaged in “black ops”, is
alleging that Diana’s phone was accessed remotely, even when switched off.

“There is no doubt that this technology was used on Diana and all around her, and

GCHQ operatives spent a great deal of time recording and listening live because she
was a priority intelligence target and a direct threat to the Crown, he said.

“More than that, she was an icon and the most famous woman in the world at the
time and analysts are vulnerable to curiosity as much as anyone else and would
have wanted and had the capacity to listen live to the conversations in the car as it
sped away from the Ritz.”

As well as these claims, there are suspicions that CCTV cameras were tampered
with on the night of the crash.

Pascal Poulain was the commander of the Paris Information and Control Centre

we tried to see the scene of the accident, using the camera situated at Place de l’Alma.

“That was impossible. In fact the screen showed only a blurred yellow light. We
tried to manipulate the camera, that is to use the zoom and manoeuvre it, in vain.
We did not have the control.

“By that I mean that another section must have been using the camera and
manipulating it and must have not released it.

“It had remained under remote control on another section’s control panel. But it
could also have been due to it being out of order.”

Speaking further about the crash, Mr Poulain said that any order to record images
taken by the camera would have to have been taken “at the highest level of
authority and not by a police officer”.

A spokesman for Paris Urban Traffic Units said they stopped using the camera at
11pm, around an hour and 20 minutes before the crash. In the late Nineties, police
officer Eric Gigou led a team given the task of collecting all CCTV images on the
route from the Ritz to the Alma underpass.

Many belonged to private businesses including hotels and restaurants, as well as a
government department, which said that the cameras were facing away from the
road, making the film useless.

In an official report, Lieutenant Gigou wrote: “The surveillance cameras on the
private and public buildings along the route are only trained on the fronts of the
buildings they protect.”

For this reason, and the fact that many of the private companies objected to
anyone seeing the film, the CCTV images were not made available.

Lieutenant Marc Monot, of the Paris Criminal Brigade, said he visited the Ministry of
Justice building next door to the Ritz and requested to see their CCTV footage.

According to the same official papers, “he reported that there were no images that
contributed to the inquiry because cameras were positioned on ledges and did not
provide any discernible detail”.

had been stolen from a restaurant several months earlier.

It was found after two weeks in a Paris suburb with some small but very specific
electronic parts missing.

The parts came from devices within the car’s Electronic Management System and
were found to control the electric windows, power steering rack and the anti-lock
braking system.

The perverted star wore a hooded robe and mask as he abused the terrifi ed victim
in a candle-lit basement.

He also chanted “Hail Satan” in Latin as other paedophile devil worshippers joined
in and assaulted the girl at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Buckinghamshire. The
attack, which happened in 1975, shines a sinister new light on the former DJ’s 54-
year reign of terror.

Savile, who died aged 84 in October 2011, is now Britain’s worst sex offender after
police revealed he preyed on at least 450 victims aged eight to 47.

The girl kept her torment hidden for nearly 20 years before finally opening up to
the rapist Valerie Sinason.

Dr Sinason told the Sunday Express she first spoke to the victim in 1992. “She had
been a patient at Stoke Mandeville in 1975 when Savile was a regular visitor.

“She recalled being led into a room that was filled with candles on the lowest level
of the hospital, somewhere that was not regularly used by staff. Several adults
were there, including Jimmy Savile who, like the others, was wearing a robe and a
mask.

“She recognised him because of his distinctive voice and the fact that his blond hair
was protruding from the side of the mask. He was not the leader but he was seen
as important because of his fame.

“She was molested, raped and beaten and heard words that sounded like ‘Ave
Satanas’, a Latinised version of ‘Hail Satan’, being chanted. There was no mention
of any other child being there and she cannot remember how long the attack lasted
but she was left extremely frightened and shaken.”

Savile was a volunteer porter and fundraiser at the hospital between 1965 and
1988 and had his own quarters there.

Five years after the hospital attack, he abused a second victim during another black
mass ceremony held at a house in a wealthy London street.

The woman was 21 at the time and was made to attend an orgy, which later took
on a darker twist.

Dr Sinason, director of the Clinic for Dissociative Studies in London, said: “A second
victim approached me in 1993. She said she had been ‘lent out’ as a supposedly
consenting prostituted woman at a party in a London house in 1980.

“The first part of the evening started off with an orgy but half-way through some of
the participants left.

“Along with other young women, the victim was shepherded to wait in another
room before being brought back to find Savile in a master of ceremonies kind of
role with a group wearing robes and masks. She too heard Latin chanting and
instantly recognised satanist regalia. Although the girl was a young adult, who was
above the age of consent, she had suffered a history of sexual abuse and was
extremely vulnerable.”

Both victims contacted Dr Sinason, who is president of the Institute of
Psychotherapy and Disability, while she was involved in a Department of Health-
funded study into sexual abuse committed during rituals and religious ceremonies.
She said: “Both these witnesses did speak to police at the time but were vulnerable
witnesses and on encountering any surprise or shock did not dare to give all the
details.”

The police took no action.

Dr Sinason added: “Savile was still a huge celebrity in the early Nineties, let’s not
forget, and there was never any action taken against him or any of the others
involved.

“Neither girl knew one another, they lived in different parts of the country and
contacted me a year apart yet their experiences are very similar. Whether Savile
was a practising Satanist or merely enjoyed dressing up to scare his victims even
more will perhaps never be known but he left those two girls mentally scarred.”

Dr Sinason has passed details of the abuse to officers from the Savile inquiry,
Operation Yewtree.

A joint report published on Friday by the Metropolitan Police and the NSPCC
uncovered at least 30 claims of abuse at Stoke Mandeville.

The hospital said it was unable to discuss individual cases while its own “Speaking
Out” investigation was ongoing.

Anne Eden, chief executive of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “As the
investigation’s name suggests, it is very keen to hear from anybody with any
knowledge that they feel could help its work or anybody that needs support
because of Jimmy Savile’s alleged behaviour.”

Now aged 50, Paula still suffers horrific flashbacks and cannot sleep properly. She
decided to come forward after we revealed last week how Savile raped two
women during satanic ceremonies in the Seventies and Eighties.

Recalling her torment, Paula described how Savile was sitting on a throne wearing a
mask and robes, clutching a trademark cigar.

A Devil worshipper who witnessed the rape

As he raped her, she described smelling stale smoke on his breath. During her horrific
ordeal, one of the devil worshippers sneered: “You definitely fixed this one, Jim!”

Speaking at an address in North London, Paula said: “I was brought in to a dark cellar
and made to stand in front of three men in a circle, with the man in the middle sitting
on a throne-like chair in a bright gown with a cigar in his mouth. A man stood on either
side in blue cloaks and masks.

“I was made to stand in front of this chair dressed in only a white gown with nothing
underneath and to just stand there while this man looked over me blowing cigar smoke
into my face making me feel very sick and terrified.

“Around this slightly raised circle were men and women dressed in black cloaks wearing
masks and various costumes.

“I was then taken by the man smoking the cigar, who I recognised as Jimmy Savile, to
an altar table where I was stripped of my gown and tied to the altar.

“Savile then climbed on to the table and raped me. Others around him called out
Satan’s name and laughed hysterically and were worked up into a frenzy.”

Paula said she was taken blindfolded to the ritual at a secret venue so she could not
identify where she was attacked. She went with the consent of her family, who she said
were well-known satanists.

Paula said: “I just felt bile in my throat from this man kissing and touching me and,
worse, raping me. I was too terrified to speak. I was told never to speak of this to
anyone.”

Paula was too traumatised to tell the police. However, she spoke to the Sunday Express
after we revealed how Savile raped a 12-year-old girl at a satanic ceremony at Stoke
Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire, in 1975 and a 21-year-old woman at a house in
central London five years later.

She also took comfort from and praised the courage of the 450 victims who came
forward as part of the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Yewtree to say they too were
abused by Savile.

Paula said: “To speak of it after all those years feels like a great weight has been lifted
off me at long last. There are many people all around the world who know exactly what
men like Savile are capable of and the time has come to bring these atrocities of sheer
evil and depravation to light.”

Paula did not ask for, nor get, any payment for her story.
