It also sends all it's meta data to foreign intelligence agencies without it being screened. Hence it spies on Americans for other countries especially Israel.

They can bring you a pizza ...
at 4 am

and just about anything they want if they have a reason .

The reason is important to it .

Ask yourself ''what would you do for national security'' ?

All the things they can do yet they cannot stop terrorism or abide by the fourth amendment to the constitution ... hmmmm are they worth it ???

It's pretty awful when a wartime intelligence agency branches out into a bunch of peacetime domestic enforcers!!

From the OSS to CIA to NSA, looks like things are just getting sadder and stranger.

What happened to the love people had for their country, and for the individual people who supported the war effort back then?

We should understand today that the present day wars have nothing to do with national security and everything to do with the undermining and looting of the people.

There are more than a few families of similar descent here in our country who stop at nothing to advance their own interests, including turning coat on every value that we consider American in order to make a buck.

If the system collapsed tonight, we might have to live like the Commies do until things smooth over, but wouldn't it still be America??
Especially if people cared about what America really is and means.

People shouldn't have to come here from places like Kazakhstan to illegally feed homeless on California streets and be hated for helping.

This country has lost sight of what it means to have a chance to be happy and free.
Perhaps other countries will notice this and act out their own revolutions, to preserve the values our forefathers (and mothers!) established here.

Scotland is probably going to break away when QE dies :( would be interesting to see what happens.
What will they stand for, and will Glasgow be able to protect this true patriot?

Well, I think there's an Absolute Reality Adjustment here: the "terrorists" are actually the CIA, BushCo and the black government. No one else. They are not "outside" of us. They are us.

Let's stop looking for terrorists as "somebody else". These "terrorist" dupes are simply honest, decent people with families who have been deliberately programmed and goaded into acts of self defense at the provocation of the CIA. The CIA/NSA are the true attackers, the false flag instigators, the true criminals.

Selene

All your base are belong to us.

Bruce Schneier's assessment of the NSA's capability with regard to getting into your PC is, if they want in, they are in.

Edward Snowden said that the NSA has not yet found a way through properly implemented public key cryptography.

The problems with that is that properly implementing public key cryptography requires discipline and effort. The NSA have acted to make it easier for you to make mistakes.

So I would add to your list:

NSA have worked to weaken some industry "standard" cryptography techniques.

Where you say "◦(Update) It can tap into the links between Google and Yahoo data centers to collect email and other data. (More) (h/t)"

I think you should qualify that, because as soon as Google found out they started to implement encryption on the links that were previously clear-text, thus making it considerably harder and more expensive (if not impossible) for the NSA to exploit those links in future.

It might be easier to make a list of what the NSA can't, don't and won't do. :)

Can't do , is referred to as "shortcomings", don't do is referred do as "not having the technology capable to do it", won't do, is referred to as, "get some one else to do it"

All the things they can do yet they cannot stop terrorism or abide by the fourth amendment to the constitution ... hmmmm are they worth it ???

Maybe they do not wish to stop terrorism, it gives them more financial and political clout to operate in the manner they have. Fourth amendment well the entire amendment was null and void after the events on 9/11. They decide what your rights are.
