MSNBC Cuts Congresswoman During NSA LIVE to Report… Justin Bieber

When you think the news media can't reach new lows.............well, not only can they, they do it without shame. This really is a good example of what the media thinks of "most" people. The media is so out of touch with people that it is actually sad. They (at least some stations) are doing their best to dumb down society.

I understand that the Bieber story is going to have more viewers than than the NSA story. But when a news outlet can't let a congresswomen finish her sentence on a story that has global importance, it shows how misguided, mismanaged and pathetic our news reporting has become.

A US government privacy board dubs the NSA’s phone calls hoarding illegal and calls to shut… wait, it’s Justin Bieber. And so the Congresswoman being interviewed was dumped mid-sentence to report the “breaking news” of Bieber’s DUI arrest.

On Thursday, the MSNBC put out a report by the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB) slamming NSA hoarding of phone data, calling it ‘illegal.’ The privacy watchdog, established by US Congress in 2004, also urged President Barack Obama to end the NSA surveillance program.

Congresswoman Jane Harman was called in to discuss the recommendation of the US government privacy watchdog. But as Harman got round to urging Congress to “seriously consider discontinuing section 215”, matters of national importance were put aside.

“…We’ve got some breaking news out of Miami, stand by if you will. Right now in Miami Justin Bieber has been arrested on a number of charges,” announced Andrea Mitchell, the MSNBC news anchor, interrupting the congresswoman.

Matters of international importance were promptly shelved, in a brouhaha surrounding the pop star, who was said to have been charged with driving under the influence, driving with an expired license, resisting arrest with a possibility of facing up to six months in jail. If you were Congresswoman Harman, would you stand by?

Congressman Harman was caught using dual citizenship and spying for Israel, and George "W" and Cheney found out and threatened her with removal if she didn't vote for patriot act. Such a hypocrite, bet she won't tell how they made her vote for this spyprogram. She knew all about it and they've been using it since the 1st WTC attack, and it's how they found out she's a spy. Now that Andrea creature that's married to Alan Greenspan, KNOWS all he did, and put stocks where Alan told her to. She drummed up the war to Iraq and has never been called out for it. Don't trust dual citizenship Harman whose allegiance is to the primary country of Israel, while serving in OUR houses of government. You can look it up, but Dems found out about it and pulled her off the foreign policy committee in 2002. it's been 12 years, and along with that other creature "Madelyn Albright, you can expect a lot of shady shinannigans and cover ups. They both need to get the hell out, crooks the lot of 'em and Albright while in committee stated that she thought Afghanistan was worth it. Meaning after Russia went broke going for the resources in Afghan, she thought is was worth putting troops in harms way to gain the rubies, gold, oil, UK oil pipeline and coal from Afghan, not to mention the Bush Opium fields needed protection from burning by the Taliban.
