This question popped to my head after reading about record visitor numbers..

I found myself sometimes reading the forum on my mobile at bedtime and then falling asleep without remembering to logout.

then a few days later i discover that im still logged in as the web is open in my mobile. I wonder if you see it as a active user or 'sleeping' but logged in user. Perhaps if we had an app it could log in and log out as the app is active..

Just a thought..

you won't be listed as logged in (by the server) after a period of inactivity, your browser has cookies that keep you logged in when you come back in a day (or what ever).

I don't think there's a need for it, mobile devices seem to display the forum fine.

The idea is good, but with the amount of bugs implemented by NSA on Android, iOS, Windowze etc. .. it was only a matter of time before we are all in jail ....

Thanks Korgh, true!
But they already know our IP if we are using computers.

For the TargeT: thanks!
However, i dont have to re-login again to start using my Avalon user portal again even after few days it sitting in the 'open web' but not actively browsed on..

:)

If i see my neighbors being visited by strange people with dark glasses, black suits and coming in a black van I will turn off my wifi antenna :heh:

Cheers

you must not have clicked the 'remember me' option ;)

if you dont want to log in you can click that and it will "remember you" via cookies.

as far as the NSA goes, just treat everything on a computer as public information (or at least NSA viewable information) because, well it is (and we've been shown that repeatedly via the snowden leaks).

no big deal, life with out fear ;)
