Yes, and they run around with the ball in their arms, as they call it football. It must be a kind of mind control conspiracy :)

All good points for sure..LOL!

But here's the thing: it's fun! Or at lease it can be. We all know the world is insane, but it's prudent to take a break from it from time to time to enjoy a little frivolity. Me, I just ignore the star spangled banner, the militarism etc...I don't start watching until the game starts. The commercialism can be entertaining if you allow it to be -- some of the commercials are hilarious!

I don't have any dog in this fight. I'm kind of hoping Peyton Manning can win his 2nd Superbowl, but really I'd just like to see a good game. And look, you have to be a blatant narcissist to play this game! You have to be kind of crazy! But there is a certain art and beauty to it if you'll allow yourself to enjoy it a little.

One wonders what type of Illuminati mind control ritual will be enacted at half time this year. As far as I can tell, the two main performers are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bruno Mars. The Chili Peppers have a lot of occult sexual imagery in their songs, especially on their album "Blood Sugar Sex Magic", while Bruno Mars (birth name Peter Gene Hernandez but took on the Roman God of Wars name as his last name) is famous for his hit "Billionaire" which idolizes the type of extreme wealth that the Illumanati have enshrined into our world's economic system.

I might watch the half time show, but I will not allow my psychic energy to be captivated by it.

My friend, sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to enjoy stuff!;). Saving the world 24 hours a day can be tiring man!

Anthony Keidis, the lead singer for the Chili's, is actually a profoundly spiritual man. You're correct about the sexual imagery etc, but sometimes people use imagery for different reasons. I named a band of mine 'the blood suckers' . It was purely ironic, and many of our current artists are being ironic or tongue in cheek with their names and imagery etc. It doesn't mean they're all illuminatti affiliated!!;).

The hype over the superbowl is ridiculous, no doubt. There's much about it that annoys me too, but we mustn't take it all too seriously. My 2 cents anyway..

This stuff is very troubling. Disturbing. But events like this never happen in American football. I'm quite confident in saying, in fact, that nothing even remotely like this has ever occurred.

What you get in American football is the occasional skirmish in the stands. It is usually quickly broken up -- no harm, no foul.

Uhm...you forgot it's the NFL?

I mean c'mon....CFL all the way! ;) Here's a clip of Tom Hanks and Martin Short hamming it up. In case you're wondering, the green and white are the home team colours. :)

For those who say it's fine to simply enjoy.....I agree. I've never been a fan of (American) football. Now soccer? I'll watch Nigeria play Surinam on Mexican TV where I can't understand a word that's being said - I love the game! I love hockey! And I love bicycle racing! I love high school football, where the kids play their hearts out and usually still remember what sportsmanship is about. I have no use for overpaid, narcissistic guys the size of refrigerators, and it's been years since I saw a halftime show that wasn't just plain creepy. No, thank you.

Bruno Mars (...) is famous for his hit "Billionaire" which idolizes the type of extreme wealth that the Illumanati have enshrined into our world's economic system.

Oh? I though BM was more famous for his "Lazy Song", one that glorifies (and to many, justifies) the overly-sedate dispositions and perceptions of the general masses. I have to wonder how many people have felt compelled to do nothing for an entire day, inspired by the lyrics.

This is interesting.

Broncos 19 seahawks 14 end score. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing?

Earth Angel posted a very good thread about a celebrity death today.
Two years ago Super Bowl was marked by death of two women who "drowned".

In ancient times people were drowned to sacrifice them to specific entities associated with the known planets.

The victims in 2012 were Whitney Houston and Jasmin de Grazia.
They died within a week of each other right before the Super Bowl 2012 iirc.

when did MJ kick it?

I was tempted to put up the Leonard Nemoy version, but there is symbolism in the original's use of monkeys. ^_~

"Aww c'mon it is just a game!' Really this is simply being obtuse, the political dimension of mass entertainment can't be ignored
it is the same with British soccer, Australian Rules, Rugby..the Tribal instinct is co-opted as a diversionary tactic-hooliganism is a way to divert 'under class' aggression-it is subtly fostered, the Opium of the people is mass sport-people can get all concerned and worked up over the minutia of the players, the Male soap opera (as Alex called it) the outcome of the 'The Game' becomes more important than the **** going down all around you, your own family...No one is begrudging the
appreciation of sport, or as you say the art and beauty of the play...This is not the point, it is the way the state uses the arena as a way to leverage the spectacle to their own ends.
I intend no offence, i just think there is another way of looking at this, other than as a Fun day out-think Ray Bradbury.
