Hey, everybody!
I finally edited and uploaded the video I recorded with our own David Allany (davidallany on the forum) last year in Ecuador. We talked about his story, how he made his way from Iraq over Turkey and Canada to Ecuador, experiences with spirits and greys, and some more...
Enjoy! :)

Great interview, David and Christian. And I agree and even identify with so much that was being said.
Sharing the story of our awakening is so important.
Before finding Avalon I had a similar path to David's, but slightly reversed....Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and meditation came first,
then later I discovered Islam and Sufism, when I found Gurdjieff and then later still, the Baha'i Faith.
The city of Baghdad plays an important part in both movements...which use the symbol of the nine-pointed star.
And apparently the city was originally built in that shape, at least that's what I read once.
And also agree with what you said about the power of a mantra...how it protects. I experienced it first hand.
My mantra to this day is Allah'u'Abha, to be repeated 95 times.

Ditto this. I wish everyone I know would watch this video if for no other reason they just might question why we are at odds, i.e., almost at war with these people.
David is just another person exploring many of the same ideas, themes, etc. as I am as well as most on this forum. He would be welcome in my home any time.
Thanks David and Christian for this video!

Thank you Christian and David for this video - it's really interesting.
One thing I wanted to say, and I hope it's not out of place here, but something David experienced was similar to something i experienced when I was a young child, about the age of 5. I woke up one night and thought i saw my mum standing in my room. I sat up in bed and could clearly see what I thought was a woman in a white nightdress, and she was just standing/floating in the middle of my room. I was on the top bunk so could see things from a high up in the room. I called out 'mum' but the image didn't answer - it looked like a woman, but she wasn't clear, and it was dark in my room. I was scared and really wanted comforting. Then i got the impression/thought that I should lie down and go to sleep, and i immediately went into a 'forced sleep' - something I am aware of these days as it's a kind of sleep I get forced into rather than one that naturally happens. I can't remember anything from then on that night, but as i now know I have been visited by greys throughout periods of my life, i am wondering whether this was one of those occasions, rather than the image being a ghost, which is what i thought it was for most of my life. If it was really a ghost I would have really woken up, screamed and tried to run into my parents room, or at least wake my brother who was in the bottom bunk. But i got the thought/message to lie down and go to sleep, which I did immediately.
Hmm, interesting, thanks for sharing your experienced David. I wasn't aware before that the greys could send out an image of something else being in the room instead of them, although i should realise this is well within their capabilities.

Enjoyed indeed!
Simplicity, openness and honesty... beautiful markers of people connected to self and other beyond ego and fear.

Really enjoyed that. Excellent video and neither of you speaking in your native language. David - thank you for sharing your experiences. You have already been through a lot more than most of us in your relatively short life. 3 years in a refugee camp - perhaps the ET experiences helped give you the strength to cope with that. Christian you have a sympathetic interviewing technique - non-intrusive - please do some more!

Christian, and David Allany... I don't know how to say it, so I guess I am short of words here.
The more I seem to know more people from the forum, to be able to see faces, not just names and words, the more I seem to be falling in love.
The interview is great, very mellow and sincere at the same time, and very beautiful if I can use such term here.
I have met a few people in my life, some quite famous by any standard, with similar humble appearance and aura. Their words have always stopped me in my tracks, compared to the general nonsense in most social situations.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to bring this conversation to me, and to everyone, here!

Hello Christian and David~
Thank you so much for inviting us to your table, for this open conversation you had. David, it is with much respect that I listen to your life story and learn how you came to where you are today, the interesting and unusual choices you made in life which no doubt led you to Avalon to be between us like minded, You have the warmth that is so apparent with the middle eastern people that I am familiar with. Thank you for sharing. Christian, talking about auras.. yours is beautiful, balanced and flickering, you are not a young man - you know, quite the imposter.. You are both, in your own individual way are candid, honest and inteligent human beings. It is lovely to 'meet' you. Thanks for sharing the video and yourself.

As Limor so succinctly said:
Thank you so much for inviting us to your table
Have watched the video twice now. :)
Speaking of mantras.......
One of my favourites
2EEFSB0zyE0
Om Shri Dhanvantre Namaha: Used to enhance one’s own healing skills for the self and for others. This mantra works to promote healing on all levels – physical, mental and emotional.

I remember not so long ago having some difficult times, and one of the things that helped me was also a mantra.
I have a book with mantras, and their explanations, that was handy at the time, and I also know videos cannot do justice to the actual power of invocation, but sometimes with music they becomes truly inspiring:

Thank you for sharing your story David with a smile on your face almost throughout all the interview.
Or maybe it was me smiling to see fellow human, brother, teacher... in you having very similar experience.
Thank you Christian for taking your time to make it happen!

I couldn't have done it without Chris's help. He travelled all the way to Ecuador to do what he best does, lighting up candels of hope in the darkest places. Thank you again and again for the tremendous efforts, for your dedication and enthusiasim.
Now that is a quality friend.
I do hope that Chris continue doing more interviews, even possibly with Bill, himself.
Thank you Avalonians for your kindness and openness.

Thanks Chris and Dave. I had the opportunity to meet Dave and spend some time with him when I visited Vilcabamba/Ecuador back in 2012. We shared some experiences together and today I count him among my friends, a warm and wise soul.
