Civility has already collapsed. Civilization is never far behind. I really wish I could live long enough to see what will emerge a hundred years after the final fall. I can envision a kind of Middle Earth-ish golden age. I'd love to be right.

Yup, mere fluff is right. Or perhaps distracting disinformation would describe the fluff more fully? Either way it's still just fluff. I wonder where does reality end and fluff begin, or is it the other way round? As for any so called truths hidden behind the veil of our day to day lives, everything is subjective, including this epiphany of yours. After hanging out in this place for far too long, I'm not sure what I beleave anymore, including my lying eyes... N
