Oh.

You’re here, aren’t you? Among your invisible friends who are also reading this. That’s okay. You’re safe. It's fine.

We need and appreciate you here at Avalon, your energy, your awareness, your consciousness. It does matter, and you do make a difference even if you never post.

Since it’s Valentine season, just my special thanks to my sisters and brothers who serve the greater good in etheric silence. You know who you are.

Fondly,

Selene

Hello everyone,

my name is Larry- I'm a US citizen who lives in SW Germany, an opera singer by profession (am not kidding) and this is my very first posting; although I officially registered with Avalon several yrs. ago I've had so many computer internet connection issues (I live in a small village- small village connections aren't always advantageous- I finally ditched my local provider and went back to Deutsche Telekom- but DT is another subject matter) but now it seems I'm finally able to post something-

yes, I've been lurking in the shadows, reading very much of PA (truly an incredible forum) but not yet able to post until now-

my message to all Avalonians: please continue to be well-

an update to my posting: it's a long internet connection story but after my first successful registration with Avalon everything went hay-wire- according to "Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post" I never was able to view my posted comment- hopefully things have changed for the better

Hi Selene,

Thank you for your post. I am indeed one that rarely post in here. As you can see, Ive been a member since 2011 I believe...I always prefered the "silence is gold" saying...lol..:D ...

I do sometimes ask alot of questions in my mind, that is after reading on here...Maybe Im too shy to express my different views or opinions...There is so much knowledgeable people here that I feel like Im way off the league...So instead I just take it all in and make my own conclusions and try to connect the dots together as many are doing here...I agree with alot of "theories" in here but rarely show my presence in words to them...

With that I salute everyone of you in here and really do appreciate the work that you all do to make this world a better and understandable place to thrive in :)

Peace, love & light to you all!!

Selene,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us.
I have read Avalon since the Camelot days: I understand what CaptnNemo is saying: there are so many thoughtful, sincere intelligent people here that I am just trying to soak it all in.

My thanks again for acknowledging our quiet little existence:)

This is a really good thread, thank you Selene. I'm not that quiet, but not that vocal either - I really love being on Avalon and reading what others share, so thank you and bless you. Hello to the quiet ones.

Great thread, Selene, and thank you everyone who is still here, posting or silently reading.

I could be very silent, even you can see me as voiceless! but at one point, after mostly reading and asking question inside my head, I discovered I had reached the moment one friend described as 'implode or open up" (I so love 1inMany for her gentle wisdom).
Recently, having a few not so pleasant experiences here, I had decided to just stay outside and read silently as well. But than I guess faith or wisdom would have it that something special happened and made me reconsider my decision.

Most of the member who have been around for quite some time see the newcomers like me as people withl low level of knowledge, who just want to take the mic. and express stuff. Which might be true to an extent, but I have noticed many 'younger' among us have a spirit and abilities to be able to do some actual changes.

I know some of the reasons behind the creation of this forum, and I know in my heart the idea is this to be a place for sharing, learning, communication and cooperation.
So if anyone feels he or she can contribute, I think he or she needs to do it. I am listening right now to a video about the major arcana of the Tarot, so I will use this expression:
Better to take the path of the fool, than to stay only in the shadows.
Practical steps do count.
And language alone shouldn't be so much of a problem. Here some of us can read in-between the lines/letters, as long as there is respect and understanding.

But I appreciate and respect everyone's decision!

Be well, stay well, and do well!

Hi Selene,

I have just joined up but been skirting round PA and PC amongst other informative sites for a good few years now.
Yet I have a lot more to learn and understand than I have information to give other than my own personal experiences.

Born into a staunch RC family and the realisation of the complicity of the Vatican came as a shock to me so catch up is the name of the game for me.

Things seem to be picking up pace with change in the air, any positive intention I can, I wish to bring.

Thanks for thread.

I respond, and reply quite often, even start the occasional thread, but i am not regarded as one of the movers and shakers
on this forum-I don't care, it is a fantastic forum, for all its faults and excesses....I would not have it any other way-we love it eh?

The absolutely beautiful thing is , all that reading what others feel and think , will eventually fill you up sooo much , that an idea will take root , and the water and spirit of life one day will come pouring out of you , to everyone and everything around you , and you will see a positive change if that's what you focus your mind on ... This is the University of life on planet earth ... The learning never stops ...

There is no need to worry about if your prolific enough, thoughtful enough, smart enough to post....

The idea is to combine all facets (all sides) of the GEMSTONE...we are not designed to be like "each other" so there's no need to be "enough" like someone else--- or express similar to them. When we bring all our genuine sides (facets) together, a pretty intriguing magnificent gemstone could take shape :D

If we keep copying each other it is a boring square [one sided]--racquet ball anyone? :P :playball:

So to anyone reading who has the 'not good enough' dialogue running through their head...YOU are more than GOOD ENOUGH---there's a literal unique universal pool in All of us <3

Thank you Selene, and all others for your thoughtful recognition of the quiet ones. Me included. :behindsofa:

I, like many others I am sure, are keen observers. Each one's presence is felt and by just being here, observing, learning, absorbing and growing, we all contribute to this thriving and expanding special place.

Whether a prolific poster or a silent observer, we all are an important part of the whole.

Much love to all here :grouphug:

Thank you, Selene! I rarely post (unless I feel I really "should", if you know what I mean), just 'cause I prefer to sit in an observer position when it comes to the World - although that doesn't mean I keep my mouth shut in social situations. ;) Your thread really means a lot to me, so thank you and so much Love! <3

Thank you Selene for starting this thread. :)

I am also one of the silent readers. Sometimes I feel shy about posting....as in 'who wants to hear what I've got to say'. I was with Project Camelot for years then involved with the early days of PA 1. I remember the intense energy surrounding the launch of PA 1 and trying to organise the first meeting of the London Groundcrew ( which happened in a park by the Thames near the Embankment...I was keeping an eye on the bushes for MI5/ NSA operatives who may...or may not have been lurking there.) Avalon has had many ups and downs, like life...like any journey. I guess I became a bit disillusioned.

I value the people I have met through Avalon and the fine posts and threads of many good souls here. As ever we have to act with intuition, empathy and discernment...with those we meet face to face or online.

At the age of 48 I became a father for the first time and am everyday overwhelmed by the beauty and knowingness of my 10 month old son, Luca Alexander ( which means 'Defender of the ( people's ) Light'. )
As a result of having Luca I log in to Project Avalon less often these days...A) because I'm rushed off my feet trying to stop him trashing everything and B) because I just can't deal with the doom and gloom threads....whose scenarios may or may not come to pass and Gawd... I've seen a few deadlines come and go. I know and have always known that we live in a system that needs drastic change and seems upside down and back to front but now I just pray that my son has the chance to grow up and have the chance to fulfill his huge potential in a peaceful and aware society. ( Preferably one with the free energy technology made available and Exopolitics / Disclosure a fact rather than a theory.) I just can't countenace the negative / doom news anymore.

My brightest blessings to my fellow Avalonaughts...you're very special.

Up until recently I hadn't posted for 7-8 months. Why? Family, job etc. I wish I knew how some of you have the time to post so frequently! Do we have a forum full of retired millionaires or something?;)

I was recently laid off, and instead of looking for job opportunities Ive found myself Avaloning. It beats the job search, that's for sure. But it can be addictive. On a few occasions I've found myself scrolling thread after thread for hours, unable to get my lead ass out of my seat LOL! It's a cool place to research and contribute, but I'm afraid if I don't go back to work soon, I'll be so conspiratorially infected that I'll be questioning everything right down to the color of my socks.;)

Not one hundred, Tangri, an average of eight a day.

Of late, I realized:

most of those posts are ones that folks can check for themselves
I’d only repeat what someone else already stated
I grew tired of my own voice
several heart-felt ones that were posted over a couple of weeks were misinterpreted and one person unsubscribed (I understand I wasn’t the reason, but it was the last reason they needed.)
I’ve run out of things to share in a way that doesn’t come across as preachy, redundant, channeled, dismissive, or promote fear.

Most importantly, the way I see it for now, the more I remove the false within, I still help make a difference.

Thank you Selene, for encouraging some of us quiet members. You are very thoughtful!
Hello to everyone here. The value and breadth of information I have read on these pages has broadened my mind and expanded my curiosity. I am very grateful for this place, and each of you.

I'm a 50yr old woman who has spent my life seeking and learning. I'm also a sensitive person who has stuck my toe into some dicey topics and have felt the backlash of others opinions. This experience has caused me to proceed with caution. I very rarely share. Also it takes me along time to get my thoughts accurately onto the page because I feel strongly about the power of ones words.

In Peace,
Journeyon

Sometimes I go through periods when I wonder how is it that I even have the audacity to come onto a forum like this one that has so many intelligent and articulate people on it who have dedicated years to researching and studying those kinds of topics that we talk about here and chime in on those conversations.
I know I sometimes... (ha! probably a lot of times) I sound like a neophyte who doesn't know what she's talking about especailly when I lack the entended vocabulary that so many long timers here are so acquainted with in terms of describing their experiences and talking about the details of any given topic. Yes, that CAN be intimidating sometimes and it's enough for me to sometimes step back and and just lurk and learn and keep my mouth shut.

But me being me, I can only do that for awhile because then I finally reach a point where I'm just bursting with insights on what I'll be reading here where I feel compelled to share them with everyone here. Fortunately, this is a forum where everyone's idea's and insights ... including posts on their own experiences are always welcomed here. Never once have I ever felt like I was being looked down upon just because I could not articulate as well as others in the same kind of lingo what my experiences were or are at any given time and what my insights are on this or that. Never have i had to apologize for sometimes sounding like I'm trying know-it-all on some topic when I'm giving an opinion on something.

But for those who choose to only lurk here and not participate, I can relate to that but just saying that if at some point you really want to chime in on any conversation here, please do so because you will be granted the respect that you deserve no matter who you are and what your viewpoints are.

Hi MariaDine!

no, I'm one of those "in between" voices; I'm a bass-baritone- as one jokingly says in German: "ein Mädchen für alles" (translation: "a girl for everything," meaning, of course, we're used/mis-used for anything our vocal chords can negotiate- not always easy... :-) )

stay well-

Although I have made several post...I rarely contribute publicly. I prefer to be a silent observer most of the time. I do enjoy reading post from the "daily" people who post on this forum..so I can read their thought and opinions. There would be no forum if people like me were the only one's here..lol

Howdy fellow lurkers... and I claim that in my case based on Posts vs Thanks given(= Posts read)

Tip: From an expert at opening my mouth to change feet -:p

If the urge takes you (in my case quite often from the position of devils advocate, much to the annoyance of some ;)) just do it !!

Why? Because more often than not new input from an alternative viewpoint can take the conversation in unexpected directions uncovering further gems of wisdom.

and as an aside remember...the ONLY dumb question is the one that isn't asked.

Hellow, Selene, I read your comment on your post noting that there are those who read but do not necessarily post very often.

I must say I am one of those people. I have been a member of Avalon for quite a while. I don't post often and only sometimes comment on others threads, as I am doing here.

I have learned a great deal from many who have posted on PV and will continue to operate in the same fashion.

I do enjoy this site very much and will continue to check it out daily when I can.
