I keep having panic attacks from things with holes and seeds in them like lotus flowers and the thought of skin with holes and seeds in them and having bad dreams about scales on the skin and when I look at a honey comb with a bee crawling in it or a lot of seeds together or a lot of bees together it freaks me out.
I find it hard to breath, my heart beats faster and my skin feels itchy and it makes me gag and feel sick.
Any ideas in conquering this. I have no idea where this phobia has come from.
xxxxx thank you xxxxx

Face it. Next time observe this closely and battle your fear with curiosity.
May take some practice but you can beat this one.
As far as where it came from, there appears to be something in your subconscious/soul/spirit that is being expressed in materium. Interpretation can be often be too complicated to ever find out. However carrying fear around over it will keep it always well guarded.

I just googled 'trypophobia' and it looks terrible.. One look at those images makes me itchy as well..
How long do you suffer from this phobia? Do you remember the first time you have experienced it? Was it surinam toad (sorry)?

Gross is gross, but totally abstract holes are not (sorry, again). I'm reminded by this that the great mind of no less than Michelangelo found the human eye disturbing, probably because of it's depth.

“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern.” ― William Blake, The Marriage of Heaven and Hell

I'm suggesting this is another form of our old friend 'space madness', or Hunter S. Thompson's 'bat country'.

Is this old 'sea of holes' scene from yellow submarine scary?

Or fractals?

I dont think so..

I think that everyone has trypophobic tendencies even though they may not be aware of it.

I used to have yhose when I was young. Sorta like burnt cheese, milk or pudding on the inside of a pan. Creepies on the face, right. When I watch the sun spots revolve in magneticism, in and out off the surface of the sun, I see that same creepy feeling sometimes still pops up. Perhaps it's something we've both seen once.

I burned some milk and faced it down to get over it, myself.

that picture especially freaks me out and it is the stuff I dream about then I feel panicky and can go into pannick attack when I think about it too much, I can't stop thinking about it though which is driving me crazy.
Thank you for the ideas I will try but if it gets any worse I think I'll go to the doctors before I crack up.
I keep thinking there is something under my skin when I see a group of small holes :S

maybe you were going deep,

the seeds in your skin are follicles that grow into hair...

maybe your phobia is related to a nightmare of turning into the bearded lady, having to quit your job and join a circus...

most people are afraid of clowns...

next time you get nervous, relax, we have shavers... ;)

this is an example of how to control the fear creating the phobia...

logically turn it into something that makes you smile and it is nothing to fear...
