After seeing the incredible lecture by Sir. Bob Dean, I was tempted to revisit library of X-Files,
with eyes supported by present consciousness. Anyone have tips?
I think I did it , actually , some time ago ... and found more than few gems . I have not seen all the series , and skipped over non-ET-conspiracy related episodes ( could be 40% of the series in total - some are still good but there's too much blood in some for my liking ) .
Listed through ....here..... (http://watchseries.lt/serie/x_files) and one that was etched to my mind from many years ago was the 'Anasazi' ( Ep 25, Season 2 ) ..
More than usually episodes contained in 2 parts are the 'main story line' related .
It has about everything covered that was ( not ) revealed by the whistleblowers , hybrid experiments, colonisation of planet , good and bad ETs, the sinister 'black oil' , remote facilities in Siberia , multiple crash landings , the elite being biologically enhanced to withstand future colonisation that they agreed on, sacrifice of their own children to the 'alien program' , faceless aliens who want to terminate the whole thing but are actually on the good side , microchips and cancer induction, the super soldier program ( both human n ET ) , people in store to claim the situation being 'whole scale military operations' , native Indians and other aboriginal people holding the real clues .
It's exaggerated but very much less sci-fi than it may seem at first glance . What I like on X-files is that it retains spirit of forensic investigation ..that I'd think is somewhat adequate to the gravity of the subject .

The term "Anasazi" was established in archaeological terminology through the Pecos Classification system in 1927. Archaeologist Linda Cordell discussed the word's etymology and use:
The name "Anasazi" has come to mean "ancient people," although the word itself is Navajo, meaning "enemy ancestors." [The Navajo word is anaasází (<anaa- "enemy", sází "ancestor").] The term was first applied to ruins of the Mesa Verde by Richard Wetherill, a rancher and trader who, in 1888–1889, was the first Anglo-American to explore the sites in that area. Wetherill knew and worked with Navajos and understood what the word meant. The name was further sanctioned in archaeology when it was adopted by Alfred V. Kidder, the acknowledged dean of Southwestern Archaeology. Kidder felt that it was less cumbersome than a more technical term he might have used. Subsequently some archaeologists who would try to change the term have worried that because the Pueblos speak different languages, there are different words for "ancestor," and using one might be offensive to people speaking other languages
Probably as close as we can get to the term 'ancient aliens' in Navajo.
