Along with cayenne, lemons are one of the herbal substances I use most. I use them for deodorant, hair gel, cleaning and disinfecting, and of course, lemonade.

Yep, but here in Mexico you need to specify "yellow" or "green". Limon can be either a lemon or a lime. Here in Puerto Vallarta it is almost always a lime!

So for you then, the 'answer' is literally "a lemon".

For deodorant, either lemons or limes work well. I use lemons because I have a lemon tree. You can simply cut a wedge and wipe your pits with it - it really does work as well as commercial deodorants! I was amazed when I discovered it. What I do is cut 3 lemons into pieces, peel and all, and put them in a small saucepan of water. I boil it down until the water is half gone, then strain it. Put it in a bottle and add up to an equal amount of alcohol - rubbing alcohol or even vodka - for preservative. It will be a gel, not a runny liquid. This makes a great deodorant as well as a good hair gel. It even lightens your hair a bit.

I'm not even sure you need alcohol. I know lime juice is incredibly anti-microbial. It can last monthis in the fridge and never goes bad as far as I have noticed. That said, some alcohol would be a little instant bacterial kill to help with the "deodorant" value.
The essential oils in lemons and limes is specifically to kill any small creature that might infect it. Fortunately for humans, essential oils, while a deadly part of plants defenses, tend to smell wonderful.
