Invaluable ... Harvard says it’s “extremely fortunate” to get former Australian PM Kevin Rudd. Source: News Limited
FORMER prime minister Kevin Rudd has been named a senior fellow at the prestigious Harvard University in the US.
He will lead a major research effort on the US-China relationship at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and will also be a visiting fellow with the Ivy League university’s Institute of Politics.
In a statement released overnight, Harvard highlighted Mr Rudd’s experience in government and as a leading authority on China, where he worked as a diplomat in the 1980s. The university describes his expertise on China as “invaluable”, The Australian reports.
Belfer Centre director Graham Allison said Harvard was “extremely fortunate” to secure the appointment of the former prime minister.
“Drawing on lessons learned during a distinguished career in politics and government, he will bring a unique strategic and practical perspective on a range of international challenges,” he said.
Mr Rudd takes up the post this month.

I think that for all the reasons that Mr Rudd made such a disappointing PM he will be very suited to this particular Harvard posting. He is a very talented and intelligent individual, he just has the WORST people skills. Good luck to him, maybe he can do some good in academia, where egocentricity is seen as a positive and he won't have to cooperate with anyone but himself.

We replaced one sociopath with another sociopath, and current sociopath is less subtle...and with absence of any opposition...the illusion of any party or government looking out for the country, people or land will be totally smashed as we are more obviously put into line with the 'empires' agenda.
'Interesting' times ahead....
Llama might save the day.....:llama: (just cause it is cute lol)

Egocentricity, seems to identify with YALE. He'll ruin people, young minds that want to fix, change all that's been wrong, be the fly in the ointment on their ideas, and teach them the temptations of wealth. Right when they are struggling. I think he needs to be OUT of the education departments, unless it's specialized financial theft by deception. That's all economic pirates and banker embezzlers do. Give themselves raises across the board, and skim off that also.
No honor among them.

Gee, the Rudd with the rudderless ship of economic disaster award for the 21st century, in there to pull even more levers/trapdoors on the world.:lever:
What are these guys, unspookable?
Pushing their corruption in the class recruiting new crooks/brightest minds for their positions?
Hmm... It's my sabaath, I can't take myself there today, they get it all week from me, but today, I'll just give thanks and today for once in a long while, I'll choose joy or spreading joy.
Got to say Jack, I will be back on this mana'na/tomorrow, because this guy has done some pretty disgusting out of "my character" stuff. I can't just keep downloading the truth, or anyone, me, you will burn out, if you don't purge space for the positive stuff coming in.
I'lll holla back tomorrow on this one Jack, thanks.:tongue1:

Well by what we already know , Harvard is a refuge for ex world leaders who have been loyal to a criminal cabal who in turn rewarrds them by taking them in when the countries they have pillaged and massacred is very ready to say goodbye to them. Many Mexican presidents have been on that honorable list. So by that we can understand what and who has been in the driver's seat of this country for sooo long.

I do so agree with you Lab. This sociopath that we have at the moment is another bigger problem entirely. And he is surrounded by others with odd idiosyncrasies . Poor, hopeless Mr Morrison doesn't know what is happening, and Mr Hockey is in La-La land at the moment, completely bowled over by the glory that is the G20.And there's Mr Joyce (who has gone worryingly quiet). I do not think the next few years will be much fun for the ordinary worker (those who have managed to hold on to their jobs that is), and the unemployed are toast.
The reason I think Rudd will be OK is that in a position such as he has gained he will not be teaching so much as giving lectures and swanning about. He is very good at that, and he is also good at inspiring people- so long as they agree with him and don't insist he deliver on the promises! He also has the Chinese language fluency too--- they can send him to China if he gets too annoying. He would like that.
I don't think Mr Rudd is a criminal. He did many good things, but his problem was that he had too many ideas some good, some not so good, and he rapidly became bored if they took too long to achieve--- so he'd think of another one and not finish what had been started. Then he would fire his exhausted staff who couldn't keep up. This is not a sustainable governing style, but it is not criminal. It also is not a good way to govern anything, yourself or a country!.

Hi Ellisa, thanks for contributing to the 'Thread'
KRudd not a Criminal hey...
KRudd like many other 'Politicians' of questionable character & underhanded Secret-Deals, simply just haven't been caught (RED HANDED) as YET...:mad2:
For starters you could do little research on the following, I'll just list a couple of things he's gotten away with (So Far)...
Copenhagen Climate Change Conference & (Global Governence)
The $46m he gave to the UN Security Council to fund Al-Qaeda to (Oust & Kill) Gadaffi
His early days in Qld Parliament labeled him as Dr.Death under the Corrupt Goss Govt.
Wife sells her Australian (Job Placement) Business for $60m, then coincidently picks up a No-Bid Govt. Contract in the UK worth $700m
Look into the KRudd's relationship with ex-PM Gordon Brown
Labor under KRudd's leadership started with $20bn in the 'Kitty' and 6 years later we have a (Record Breaking) National Debt of over $400bn +
The 'NWO' Carbon Tax
I could go on forever and have the detail ready to back it up...:yes4:
Officially, KRudd is not a Criminal & that's because he hasn't been (CAUGHT) yet...:wizard:
He will be brought to Justice eventually, its only a matter of time...:yes4:

Well, you could be right Jack... I have no idea. But I will ask you what you are implying by merely stating 'NWO carbon tax". What does this mean? Personally I am in favour of cutting carbon emmissions and so are many other paople and countries. "NWO carbon tax" means nothing. Just 3 words.
I am not an apologist for Kevin Rudd, though I think he had some brilliant ideas, but lacked the skill to turn them into the triumphs that some other politicians achieve. Mostly I feel he has an arrogance which would have stood him in good stead if he were a proper dictator. But he was in Australia, which, still, in spite of everything, does not trust arrogance. I also think Mr Rudd lacked trust. He lacked it in how he regarded those who worked for (not 'with') him. and also he lacked the ability to create a trust in the country generally.
Politicians that we trust (poor little deluded people that we are,) do well. Examples are-- Bob Hawke, Bob Menzies, and my own particular dislike, but who apparently was very trusted- John Howard. Paul Keating--- NO!--- but we were all too scared (he'd say respectful) of him not to go along!
I will agree that some of that deal that Therese Rein made was seemingly dodgy, but it was actually investigated. Also I do not think that a spouse is responsible for the misdeeds of their partner. Mrs Rudd is a smart and very rich business woman in her own right, and as such she is capable of conducting herself without consulting her spouse. She's also considerably richer than him!
As for your other charges, none of them are proven, and at this stage are just rumours. Maybe one day we will find out. Personally I feel there are enough real frauds and thieves enjoying their criminal rewards to be dealt with. We have a few at the moment here in Victoria.

I could reply to this, however I don't particularly want to get in another argument...:nono:
It is what it is & KRudd knows it...:yes4:
PS - I will ask just (1) Question though...
Please name just (1) of Theresa Rein's Current-Contracts in play that wasn't a (Govt. Contract)...???
