Could flowing water on Mars lead to colonization? In this piece Lujendra Ojha
suggests there is flowing water , not just locked in ice.

Scientists have unveiled new evidence which they say proves water could be flowing on
Mars right now -- a claim that could debunk the long-held belief that the Red Planet has
been completely dry for billions of years. Lujendra Ojha and a number of his fellow
academics at the Georgia Tech have proposed that the dark, finger-shaped features on
Martian slopes which disappear and reappear as seasons change are, in fact, flows of
saltwater. RT's Liz Wahl asks Ojha if the discovery of water on Mars could one day soon
lead to the colonization of the Red Planet.

i think it's natural/logical to wonder if that is what happened. :(
what DID cause the atmosphere loss if not war?
how come so little water left, yet it flows seasonally?
and certainly there is life somewhere or there would be no methane.

it is possible, if not probable, that something negative happened on mars at some point.
i think NASA seems pretty interested in the place. hope it's not too icky, or they would surely know by now?

i.e. will the settlements be in depleted uranium fields etc.? i sure hope not! :P

I don't often post on this subject although I have on occasion. My first wife claimed to be from another dimension or "plain" as she liked to call it. She said that yes there was life on Mars but not from this dimension. She said it was where beings from all over would go for a party and to communicate. She really enjoyed David Bowie and Marc Bolan also Elton John I guess they all had there own thing to say about Mars. My Favourite is this one.

She might of been right gigha , Ion say their are millions of parallel worlds and the population of
this reality is boosted by parallel worlders and visa versa. I was listening to him comment about
commander Valiant Thor who came here form a parallel Venus.
